uh and let’s begin with who else but Duke Duke off the loss earlier this week to Kansas less people think that college basketball doesn’t have any audience over two and a half million people were watching on ESPN on the end of the Kansas win over Duke Tuesday night from Vegas thank you very much now Duke back at home this game might have slightly less interest Seattle University comes in almost as a sacrificial lamb uh here Duke laying 26 and a half the total is 141 Corby began the discussion here uh we once again saw Duke falter in the final couple of minutes with turnovers they got uh you not a great look at the end down by one against Kansas out of a timeout all right so they lost that game midweek they’re back at home at Cameron what do we make of this off the Thanksgiving holiday including the total Corby uh start us off yeah this seems like a massive number just like knowing Seattle knowing they like I guess Short history and being a decent mid- major college basketball team it kind of feels like a gr caner of like the unknown names unless you watch a lot of basketball the issue is like though I think seatt was probably a pretty decent program for basketball I think this was a lot to do with who they had on that team cam Tyson was a dog last year like they had pieces for the last few years now you look at this team I’m not sure they do they lost Eastern Washington they lost a loss to Liberty a loss to cowply a loss of Ferman they have a win versus unranked Northwest good win there uh and UC San Diego who uh at times looks good but at times this year I’ve just not been impressed by them so I mean it as weird as it feels like I think this is still a Duke side um to say that against the Seattle Team who has been like a live dog in a lot of these games in years past this 26 and a half feels fine I was at 138 for a total so it would be towards an under um this is one of those ones that you have to put on the sheet to talk about because everyone wants us to talk about Duke and it is not one I would ever probably ever bet here interesting good advice on that all right so Jeff anything here with sleepy spot maybe for Duke off of Thanksgiving are they going to be angry off the loss to Kansas what do you make of their mentality we don’t know for sure but what’s your guess my guess is they’re going to come out here and do what they normally do it home to non-conference opponents and that’s condom into submission we also look at Seattle not a program we talk about much in fact they just don’t play top 20 teams ever uh the last time they played a top 20 team was 2021 7852 they lost to UCLA UCLA had the hakz and and and you tiger Campbell that team so they don’t play these types of teams very often throw in the fact when you’re looking at pure kind of just two-point defense and this team has been horrific I mean they’re allowing opponents to shoot 6 3% from two against a team in Duke who is huge who is a McDonald’s All-American at every position off a loss I’m going to go back to something that hadn’t worked I’m going to add a game here but I’m going to play it a little bit differently I’m gonna play Duke first half team total over 41 this is at bet US 41 I think Duke gets into the 40s here in the first half I think they come out here of firing against a team who cannot defend and I think it’s going to be sh shocked a little bit with how just better talent-wise um you know they are throw in keep in mind off of the loss to uh Kentucky back on November 12 for Duke they came back and responded against wford 8635 they were up 514 at the half I think we see a similar type of game here I think they have at least 45 in the first half here I think they jump on Seattle responded is one way to put it they bludgeoned them good point you make and by the way I didn’t know we didn’t rehearse this Jeff confirm it I didn’t know you were going to live ad right there how about a Black Friday live ad from Brother n do and again it’s on Duke to just score score score at will in the first half what’ you say over 41 on the bet I wanted to kind of share this too in the first half this year Duke is averaging 43 points a game in the first half at home 46 points a game in the first half so again they have really kind of responded and again I like getting them off a loss here here you know turkeyy passed and I got to tell you I feel great today off to Turkey I’ll be out there doing my thing so I’m sure Duke will as well so let’s we’re all off the trip toan uh Downer uh here just pound the extra sugar for the pecan pie the pumpkin pie and all the desserts I didn’t have any sugar last night no pie for me I I had your share and maybe corp’s share as well again the live play from Jeff is the first half total over for Duke the team total over for Duke 41 is that number [Music]
