okay folks so we got Dennis Schroeder which is great we have someone to replace Melton a shooting guard combo point guard can play defense can take some pressure off of Curry what do we need a big man tjd Looney no issues with him but we need a big man who can shoot and stretch the floor and really help us out there’s two players that I’m seeing that could be a good fit one is a user comment I see it all the time we’re going to break down this individual from the Pacers Miles Turner and then from where uh who else do we want uh with the Raptors Ben Rogers shout out Kelly oen is in the trade Mill as well now with Dennis Schroeder is he here or is he going somewhere else he could be aggregated in the trade so we’re going to break it all down on this episode of Wars digest more trade breakdown for you whenever you’re watching this Warriors play the Maverick Sunday 8:30 p.m. uh I want to say it’s eastern time this is the game because they both lost in the quarterfinals of the NBA cup now they’re playing and then we’ll get back to the normal schedule we’ll have a full breakdown of that game on Monday if you’re watching this Sunday if it’s Monday go check that breakdown out all right first things first with Dennis schroer coming to the team Warriors Envision him in the back court playing a lot alleviate ball handling responsibilities at point guard a priority for the Warriors to make this deal so what does that mean expect expect him to start next to Curry so it should be when everyone’s healthy Curry schroer Wiggins kaminga and either tjd or Looney again remember kaminga is now the power forward replacing Draymond Green in the starting lineup if they want to go small ball then there’s Draymond kaminga Wiggins schroer Curry and that’s a pretty small team tallest guys 66 maybe six7 on a good day so that’s tough and you’re G to get beat by some bigger teams like that so that’s where prioritizing a big man could definitely help I like schroer in the starting lineup he can alleviate pressure next to Curry he can shoot he can bring the ball up he can do pick and rolls he can get to the bucket and he brings defensive tenacity now a player who has been talked about potentially let me make this bigger per Brett seagull NBA Kelly oen with the Raptors potentially move would that be something the Warriors picking up and I know it’s a picture of the Jazz but let’s take a look at Kelly oen in his stats folks let me make my screen a bit bigger so you can see it 611 so it becomes the tallest player on the Warriors 33 years old kind of right at the end of that Prime the centers can go a little bit longer we look at his stats this season he’s only played three games he’s been hurt so really not a good representation of what he can do last season he played 28 games this season before that 50 hasn’t played 60 games since excuse me 22 23 has only played 60 games like kind of towards the beginning of his career so is this a risk the Warriors are willing to take I like that he’s 611 you know if you look at his career he’s a 36% three um shooter which is good from a big man free throw 80% free uh field goal percentage 48% but I don’t like the fact that he’s been hurt now if I look at his contract he’s owed $13 million so who can the Warriors trade for 13 million if that’s something that they want to do sorry it’s 12 and 13 so let’s just call it 12.5 we go to our our trusty salary cap if they wanted to get rid of Schroeder for a big man sure they’re not doing that it could be potentially Looney’s 9 million cuz you get one big man for another and then you would still need another four 5 million Moses Moody now Moses Moody his situation is a bit unique because of the contract he signed the three years at 39ish million potentially it’s kaminga and Looney you could do that if the Raptors want something back but you ain’t giving up kaminga for lin I know people put in the comments yo bro you’re doing like stupid trades I’m just telling you how the money can work it doesn’t mean I actually think that’s a good trade I tell you it’s not a good trade but it’s going to have to be some variation if it’s going to be a big man you think of Looney or Trace action Davis but the 1.8 million just a lot to give up so that’s where I think it’s got to be Looney and then potentially maybe kaminga moody or you do Moody sorry Looney B P puts you at 12 million and then maybe a Waters you got to do three for one but then you need a player back maybe that means you move someone from the uh two-way to the main roster obviously as I broke down the video beakman is now gone you see right there it’s only Spencer and post I think Spencer’s earned the full contract he does a great job getting to the bucket now a big man who I think is a better use of Our Time Miles Turner let me show you this page first with the Pacers same height 611 younger he’s 28 right there in the Smackdown Smackdown of his prime can be our Force for the next half a decade and he’s having a awesome season look at this he’s started 24 games 14 points a little bit below what he’s done the past couple Seasons but look at his three-point shooting two to five a game that’s what you want from a warrior Center 40% 47% from the field goal percentage 71% from the line not the best you would think with the Warriors again pick and roll with curry pick and roll with Schroeder sitting at the top of the three getting some of those blocks in defense averaging two blocks a game and rebounding around six so I think he comes in Sorry Seven I think he comes in and can do a great job look at his stats throughout besides for 2122 you know the past couple Seasons he played 60 plus games contract wise how does that work he’s in the last year of his Deal 19.9 million let’s just call it 20 even so the question is is he going to resign with the uh the Pacers or is he not if they don’t think he’s going to Res sign then he’s a trade asset at the deadline early February so let’s go back to our trusty thing how do we make this work so $20 million means it’s G to have to be a big man most likely Looney is your casualty because at $9 million he’s going to be gone and he’s not going to play a lot it’s could be him and Trace Jackson Davis just because of money then You’ have to think how do we get to 20 million Kyle Anderson number eight that puts you at 9.1 and 88.7 puts you at basically you know 17 17 let’s just call it yeah right there like 17 and then potentially then you throw in Brandon or it could be Looney and Peyton puts you 18 and maybe it’s Waters so there’s three players you’re going to have to get up give up excuse me the get Turner but he’s worth it and then your starting five becomes Curry schroer Wiggins kaminga Turner and now you have a traditional big man and then Draymond can come in Off the Bench for power forward can help at Center and you have a tall player there now again the money works you have to make sure because of the trade we just did let me pull this back up where’s that you can see that oops um where we at ah sorry folks I’m trying to find the picture there it is first tax apron 330,000 on the right side so if we get Turner we got to make sure we don’t go over that in the trade so it has to be if we go back to Turner chart we have we can’t we have to make sure that we’re within basically 19,600 th000 we can’t we can’t get over that number if we’re anything below that the trade can’t work because of Max um the first apron so those are two players who I think uh one are being talked about in two could work now the Warriors still remain big game hunting the lck isn’t a star Turner is you know you hear about Butler I don’t want Butler I don’t think it’s a good idea LeBron James I don’t think it’s a good idea I don’t want to mortgage our future I also don’t want to ruin the dep on this team be able to go get those couple stars but I think Turner with 20 million is doable lenck he’s been hurt I don’t think that’s somebody I want to go get roach with the bulls you know talk about him he’s a solid Center good shooter can stretch the floor could be a nice fit cam Johnson shooter but that’s another guard Wing player really feels like we’re in the game for a center and obviously it says right here a big star now again schroer could be aggregated in the trade but I don’t want that I think
