team which if I’m not mistaken when we talked about them did we talk about them it was it last week midweek I believe it was uh for the game with Washington state right and Washington State maybe it was two weeks ago going into a weekend Washington State came in and beat them in Reno by 11 all right so this is South Dakota State Matt Cox tonight getting 11 themselves thought on this one to begin things and are we going to maybe have an official play here on this one tonight yeah we are a rare two-play night for me despite the very short slate and I apologize in advance for fading South Dakota state who’s been pretty good this season you know I think I had Montana against him last time out I was very lucky to to cover that game Oscar KLU did not play their best player former Washington State transfer as you mentioned TJ just to stud big guy up front like a you know a cheat code in the summit but stepping up in class against Nevada who’s got a ton of size up front I don’t think he’s gonna look as dominant tonight and I think the key handicap the key part of this handicap for me is you look at what Nevada did for the first two weeks of the year right they were basically almost perfect they probably could have beaten Vanderbilt and then mte they still beat VCU they handled OK State they beat the crap out of Santa Clara and they beat Washington by 10 Handley so like they’ve been taking care of their business at home they had that weird log layoff they lost to Washington State at home I think that kind of Shell Shocked them David Riley with an awesome game plan I threw that one out then they go on the road to LMU a game they probably should have got right in their starters actually let them down and aler talked about this their bench got them back in the game erased a 20o deficit and they still end up losing the game but I think tonight and he implied this when he talked after the game he actually might flip his bench and starters so I think he’s going to make some changes I think that comes out a very angry dialed in Nevada team with all 11 12 guys that he has in that rotation looking to prove something so even if this game gets to 56 I think the gas pedal will be you know the foot will be on the gas all the way through um the depth and the experience of this team at home and altitude against a very good well coached well drilled Jack buy team but a young team and a young team going to altitude at this point in this season where I mean frankly this game means nothing right it’s all about conference play for the Jack bunnies I think there’s a little bit of a white flag being raised here I wouldn’t be surpris if maybe a key player or two for the Jack bunnies sits or you know plays less minutes we’ll see I don’t know anything specific on that but just a hunch I have given how this game doesn’t really mean a ton so yeah I’m gonna lay it with 11 kind of a get right classic spot here for the wolf pack at Home interesting resume already Corby Craig for Nevada which has an out-of-conference win over Washington who you said you watched a lot of last night they beat them by 10 at home they beat Santa Clara also who’s not bad out of the WCC they then came to Charleston for the tournament the mte Thanksgiving week they lost the opening game to Vanderbilt by two but then they turned around and beat Virginia Commonwealth on the neutral floor they beat Oklahoma State on the neutral floor then they come home and lose to Washington State and then they had a close game with lyola marmount at LMU um this weekend in Southern California now back home thought on this one we heard Matt make the case for the side thought maybe also on the total here Corby yeah a lot of nuggets to digest from Matt that was a a great breakdown a lot of things that me as a a numbers guy model guy would never catch like um I have the starting five playing normal minutes I have South Dakota State starting five playing normal minutes um and and I’m still pretty close to Nevada like I I I think at the end of the day this is South Dakota State team that we have like this like market price in our head that this is a really good team but it’s a completely different in years past and and you go look at like what the market Dynamic has been just throughout the the year the MCN four-point favorite close like nine and a half 10 like we’ve seen team we’ve seen this Market not want to bet South Dakota State time and time again no matter how it how favors out and how it works out the market itself doesn’t want to bet it MCN has been steamed opposite every single game since that South Dakota State game so proves to the point that like I I don’t think the love from the actual money betting and moving these allines like South Dakota State much at all Matt brings up a ton of good points it’s not a spot that I really care to get involved in it just seems like uh there’s there’s a lot of things happening behind the scenes that I I don’t
