one a quick one today but we got a couple topics to get down with and first and foremost let’s get over this real quick because this was a sleeper Thursday Night Football finally disappointed we had a final score of 12 to6 for the LA Rams now they are eight and six and the 49ers go to a low the opposite reverse record of six and eight woo Caleb let’s go to you first my man what is up with that game well you know what it was it was disappointing as far as points right but the defens is played it wasn’t like the offenses weren’t trying to score did you see Puka Puka was out there I mean like they were trying like that was defense right that was defense at its fine well I wouldn’t say finest but they’re playing defense that’s the only reason why you think Brock meant to throw that pick no he was trying to score a damn touchdown but a defensive a defense um a cornerback said no thank you I’m taking that one he overthrew it a little bit maybe the receiver slowed up when he shouldn’t have whatever you want to say they W they were playing defense so I’m glad for that the field goal kickers earned their money we saw that at least they showed up and but I want to talk about my man who just walked off the field hey did you see him did you see him he was like [ __ ] he’s like they out here playing with me think it’s taking me for some kind of fool he like about this much cause listen you know he got you know he he replaced um um uh green law right then green law gets hurt and I forgot who else gets gets gets injured in the game and they’re like yo my man give me vaugh he was like nah he’s like y’all didn’t want me in the beginning y’all don’t get me now you know what I’m saying and I think that’s a that’s a huge topic like just in what just that small thing because of what it does but I I digress go I’ll let Woody jump in yeah so B basically so you’re talking about is the linebacker Dandrea Campbell who just like you know what I’m done I’m I’m out and walk away Woody go ahead my man yeah that I mean I that is um that’s crazy to see DeAndre cam will do that um kind of reminds me of uh Antonio Brown um when he walked away but I mean he you know he was out here sht off in the end zone so a little bit different um but still the same message and that’s the ultimate disrespect to to the locker room you heard it right and everybody that was interviewed um you know was like hey you’re gonna be cut that’s literally what they said um and that’s what he deserves you know so you know DeAndre Campbell has been nice but you know it’s time to to go somewhere else y yeah you gota go home you got to get the hell out of here you know what I’m talking about um that’s yeah that’s that’s crazy um but the game the game was definitely a snooze Fest like I I don’t even know if I could call that like a defensive like there was Drops my boy yo Debo Samuel Deo he looked bad yesterday and that’s my boy I love him so I ain’t gonna hate but he had a bad game he I mean they need they need him more more than ever though because cmc’s gone auk is gone right so pie right if they’re going to elevate Brock py try to make him look you know like somebody who you know Gan and I I think we know that he’s not but if they try to put him up there then he needs one of these weapons you know and and KD KD’s doing his part you know to a degree but it’s Debo Debo is the one and you know for him to be you know choking out the the kicker when he misses a kick you know can somebody choke Debo when he dropping three balls in one game PR time who who’s joking so it’s just you know I feel like that organization right now it’s kind of a rare um sign of like turmoil amongst the L you know it’s kind of falling apart and for somebody who you know me I’m talking about that always you know Hypes up Kyle Shanahan this is a bad look for you know his ability to hold on to the locker room well yeah I mean uh Samuel says that he uh or not Deo sorry Shanahan says that hasn’t lost the locker room and he says you know what uh uh first of all Campbell just didn’t want to play today like I don’t know I don’t know I mean if that’s the be that’s when you’ve given up as a coach and if you’ve just get that’s your reason like that’s that’s all you can say he just didn’t want to play today who says that when you’re when you still have when you still had a little bit a little bit left to give to make the wild card or to do some damage but now it’s all for not and now Debo that’s a whole other story listen he’s on my fantasy team and I was so happy I got him because this guy’s a dual threat we saw what he did last year this year he comes back and to your point Woody uh there’s uh there’s no iuk there’s no CMC so Debo for sure was going to be the next guy to to produce because we’ve seen him do it before it should be a walk in the park and there’s been no Park and there’s been no walk so this has been really tough to watch for the San Francisco 49ers once again that score was 126 in favor of the LA Rams let’s move move on because I can’t I can’t see these drop balls anymore man uh let’s talk about this though since we are there in the space the NFC West who will win the NFC West where’s this gonna where’s this gonna go let’s go to you um Woody um well it’s tough so right now the Seahawks are eight and six as of last night the uh Rams are eight and six right the um 49ers are six and eight and I believe the Cardinals are also they also have seven I mean also have six wins I could be wrong though no you’re right six and seven yeah yeah so um super tight race super tight race I feel all these teams feel like they’re really good I feel like every single one of these teams is underperforming um so when that is happening right I guess that’s why they call it the the biggest position in in football I got to lean to the quarterback which quarterback cannot trust to hold up that NFC West trophy I don’t think they have one so it’s just a you know metaphorical trophy um the NFC West Trophy and the quarterback out of this division that I trust is none other give me gry beard Matthew Stafford all right this dude has been a baller his entire career they’ve slandered his name for over a decade then he wins the Super Bowl right the father time starts catching up with him a little bit injury bug I mean he he was so tough in Detroit playing through injuries that now you know it’s really come back to hurt him I don’t think we’re gonna see you know Matthew playing at 40 the way that you know Brady you know Breeze Rogers some of these guys I think his time is really you know running running low but he still got some gas in the tank right now all right so we not WR his obituary yet all right so I think he is the one that is going to lead his team to win that division give me the L A Rams wow definitively and Caleb you are shaking your head in agreement give us your give us your hot T no I think I think Stafford’s the best quarterback and when it comes because it’s GNA be between Seattle and them and Seattle’s eight and five they they got their game this week and I think I think their game is really good so they’re they’re in um first right now but I don’t trust Gino more than I trust Matthew Stafford and I think Matthew Stafford’s like the the receivers are a a wash even though I would lean little bit more to the Rams as far as sheer handed receivers but Seattle has more they’re way more fat they’re way more athletic right and and so so all of that and I think their running back is better on Seattle I think so well H they’re kind of they’re kind of was it’s close it’s close it’s it’s a wash so but quarterback is G I mean um Matthew Stafford over over Gino so we’ll see what happens but you know you everybody mess football why we love it is because it’s one game you could mess up that one game they might have won last night had Debo caught that ball over the middle from from um um uh uh perie you know what I mean like with the real quick the Bengals and Dallas you saw what happened when Dallas stopped them but they got the penalty and then two plays later it’s a touchdown changes everything right like I mean not not the penalty the the the the punch block the block the point is they got the ball back they got the ball back and then two plays later it’s a touchdown but like that’s what I mean M if he would have caught that maybe the game would have been different because who knows what would have happened had that but he didn’t you know but in the words of DayDay and Friday After Next players [ __ ] up uh and then and then the words of uh fresh Prince’s dad momentum you know what I mean the momentum momentum doesn’t shift man and when it shifts you just never know what’s gonna happen so make sure you get that momentum uh listen I think I’m with you guys I would really love to see the Rams have their come up into just like work through again and really do some damage Seattle I just don’t I’m not convinced not convinced by Seattle they just keep squeaking these wins out but who knows maybe they are a good team maybe they just are a good team I’m just not completely convinced give me the LA Rams as well um lightning bolt if you will or those uh have those lines through the cap gray Underside and purple on top yes this is the one and also I’m wearing this because I was at the Raptors game versus the Knicks and I definitely gave these guys h a shout out when I was at that game and we were chatting back and forth the Knicks unfortunately beat the Raptors 113 108 but the Raptors are always in it right now the Raptors are always in it but word on the street is we’re just trying to trying to lose for that Cooper flag pick like everybody else who knows who knows moving right along let’s jump into some general NFL talk I want to talk about the one the only Bryce young has he made a turn has he turned a corner things are different for Carolina right now Woody what do you think um I’m gonna say yes I’m gonna say Yes um you know I I hate to overreact to just a small sample size um but I guess that’s you know a little bit of what I’m about to do because um you know that Chiefs game really came down to the wire but then you you look at it and you’re like ah you know the Chiefs play everybody close like you know it’s all you know pretty much all their games is one score uh but then you look at their other games and you look at about you look at what happened uh last week with Caleb’s Eagles you know and it’s like this kid I’m not saying you know he’s about to be you know a future MVP but if you look at the narrative that was being said about him the first three weeks of the Season that you know this dude is trash this dude should be working at Chick-fil-A you know this dude like like they were slender this man andyw goldon came in with the same team and you know kind of lit a fire under them so it was like oh Bryce you’re really done like think about like imagine telling somebody then like what the numbers that Bryce young is producing the the battles that he’s leading the Panthers to right now I mean they lost by three to the Chiefs by three to Baker’s bucks who have been on fire uh one by three to the Giants won against the the the Panthers and now the Eagles game which of course was a loss is still a one- score game so now a team that was the bottom of the barrel is in let’s count them up one two three four five straight one score games like that that’s a that’s a competitive team you know um so I would have to say yes you turn it around I’m not saying future MVP but this guy is not the bottom of the barrel he is not um you know what they what they were saying he was and still his receiving Court isn’t great we still got you know random dudes catching that ball don’t don’t give this guy somebody special now don’t give him like a Malik neor type guy because then you know who knows that he might might have to uh hold up some NFC sou trophies of his own oh Caleb oh God it’s like look I think great start great start here here’s the deal he’s an NFL quarterback okay like yeah like these are NFL players any week anybody can win right I think the Panthers got a big break with everybody thinking they’re just done done done so you’re taking that week off you see Carolina on your schedule you like all right right so they surprise you because they coming out fighty so you’re like whoa whoa whoa hold up hold up Bo boom boom boom boom let me make Dam I didn’t know I had to fight this week you know what I mean like cuz they still losing they it’s not like they winning these games you know what I’m saying [ __ ] wi one round motherf oh he almost got it he almost got you know what I’m saying like that’s that’s what it feels like to me and so but I do believe Bryce is trying to play with pride I think that Andy Dalton thing shook him up I think he realizes like his career could be over over in this sense your third stre R going on the team somebody’s just putting you on the team so they got enough quarterbacks on the roster right like that’s bad when you used to be number one you know what I’m saying like that’s a hell of a fall you know so I think he is trying and of course he wants to win I just don’t know not that he doesn’t have the skill but I don’t think he’ll ever be on that upper echelon of quarterback I just don’t think he’s that he’s he’s that could he be serviceable yes I thought Gino Smith was trash when he was was wearing that green and white so long ago and he still hung around and he’s still there and he’s fighting to win the NFC West but Gino is more well I can’t say more athletic because Bryce can run but he’s just bigger right he’s taller he can see further it’s it’s that it’s just it’s a different and not nothing on Sid but Drew Brees was a different Beast you know what I mean he had a way better team indoors too like there’s things that go along with that so again I just I’m not I’m not down on him I don’t think he’s the worst thing but I mean it’s like you know I I’ll dial it I’ll D it dollar back is mad dog you know as my boy said Thank it this as you want to do Montana that’s what Tony said what he tell s hey hey you take it is you talking to me [Laughter] okay true yeah let’s let’s give him a little bit of breathing room right I mean he’s got a qbr of 50 you know his completions is almost 60% he’s got over 1500 yards just under 1600 yards oh that’s cool I didn’t know that oh I bet you did that I don’t even know who did that know once you do this in this in this uh oh I don’t have mine activated but once you do this in the in steam room it does that yeah really yeah yeah it’s supposed to yeah we don’t have it it’s not working for me it only likes light skin Brothers I guess but I’ll allow it so he’s got seven touchdowns he’s had a touchdown every game so I mean who knows like you said who knows what’s GNA what the future holds I mean there’s still a couple games left so maybe you just treat these as you know The Comeback Kid kind of game you’re not going out for the MVP but you are going to put some reps in so you can go and and reflect and watch the rest of the veterans you can get a shot next season yeah 100 you’re gone yeah definitely the next team will maybe make you second string yeah yeah because he’s definitely not St nowhere I don’t give a [ __ ] what you talking about I don’t care you know what I’m saying my boy Gardner will start before he does probably cause gner plays with this it’s the yeah true true true uh hey let us know next thing time is of the essence and we have some urgency here uh I want want to talk about our picks we’ll stay in the NFL let’s talk about our picks there is some games to look at this week because everybody is playing um I will start obviously I’ll stay on the same train that we were just on I’m talking about Dallas at Carolina Woody gave us a great stat over the chat this morning uh so that game Dallas at Carolina is at 1 pm on Sunday uh Woody why don’t you let the people know in case they’re betting people yeah well this is the first time in over two years that this is an unbelievable stat the first time in over two years that the Panthers are simply favored to win a [Laughter] game win the game first time in two years and they actually I don’t even think they gonna win this one the cowboy the Cowboys are a tough team they’re they’re a tough team um I feel like they kind of I don’t want to say turn because they clearly haven’t turned a corner but they’ve become a little bit more competitive against those those bottom feeding teams um you know they you know the Caleb’s point right they almost beat the Bengals you know another team to beat the Bengals um so they they you know it looked like they was about to go out belly up I was you know it is what it is but now they got some life and Rico dle has been doing some work on my fantasy team so you’re boy not mad you’re not mad the fantasy playoffs coming right now um yeah I I gotta say uh we we’ll see that that game would will be a really exciting one um in terms of you know scoring and all that type of stuff I think it should be a good one yeah and then my other pick uh of the week is definitely gonna be well it’s me versus Caleb really it’s Pittsburgh at Philadelphia 4:25 on Sunday so you know our chats gonna be blowing up it’s gonna be a very good game especially because it’s in Philly you know Philly likes to stand up when they’re at home I mean every team does but there’s something different about the Eagles when they stand up at home Pittsburgh coming off a really great win at home as well so now they’re traveling you know couple miles down the road Road uh instate fight so we’ll see how it goes uh I mean listen if I’m a betting man and uh which I am not uh I mean I’m just GNA go with my team I’m gonna go with the Pittsburgh Steelers but you know this is GNA be a battle because Herz is getting a lot of flak on the other side a lot of flack from not only the staff but or not the staff sorry a lot of flack from fandoms and uh all those people that are uh rooting against him but you know his teammates yeah when I say St when I say staff I meant teammates uh so that’s that’s the game that I’m I’m making sure I’m paying attention to uh Steelers at Philadelphia that’s the afternoon game 425 uh Caleb let’s start with you what games are you looking at for this weekend bills and lions yeah I want to see that I wanna because I because I my boy gets to be in indoors this week I want to see King oh I don’t care you don’t know how much I love Josh Al care nobody said right so whatever and so I want to see that I want to see I want to see how the lion and the Bills play because that could be a Super Bowl matchup right there right it’s like it’s not out the question that the bills could reach the big dance and it’s damn sure not out the question that the Lions can be representing the NFC right so it’s gonna I’m I’m looking forward to that I think that’s going to be a really good game of course the Steelers and the in the Eagles but I’m when it’s my team I’m always I’m I’m like I’m like uh uh my boy in Major League I got my hat upside down and inside out I’m like a right every mistake it’s like it’s so hard thank God for sequan but I think the game good good thing pickings ain’t playing that’s good that will help us a lot that took one that took one major ingredient from from Russ for his for the meal he gonna try to Chef up so so so so that’s that’s that’s gonna be good but I’m also looking forward to uh the uh Packers and Seahawks yeah I think that’s gonna be a really good game and I think it’s gonna say a lot cuz let me tell you something if Gino and them pull that out that’s going to ele they’ll they’ll be elevated over the Rams by a whole game right like like that’ll put him a game ahead and and in week 16 going into 17 you know like that’s that’s not good like if you know I me but the Seahawks have a really um hard schedule going ahead so you know it could end up for the Rams but I’m looking forward to those Gams but really lions and bills I really want to see that I um I want to see the bill s see if they can pull it out because they seem to have the the the weaker team not compared to the Lions I mean but like with a lot of people you know what I mean and after that performance last week by Allen I’m just I just want to see what he does this week a lot of the games in the past weeks that have had playoff impli implications or have been a preview to what the playoffs look like have always been bangers like they’ve always been amazing games everybody shows out and so I think this is going to be another one of those games where we just get a really good show out from the bills from Detroit it’s it’s it’s going to be a tough one and it’s in Detroit so like you said it’s indoors so this one’s going to be fast this game is gonna be very very fast Woody I mean you guys named the top three like there’s no like there’s no argument like anyone try to say a game is better than any of those three they lying or they not bright you know um Steelers and Eagles you know uh I don’t have a horse in the race you know you guys my boys you know they you know I players from both of them on my fantasy teams just you know let’s let’s just have a good game uh bills Lions you know I would agree picky back with Caleb like after seeing last week right like 41 44 to the Rams like that was a shoot out and imagine going through something like that and then the next week you got the lions like yeah yeah a lot so just to see how they bounce back I mean this has all the makings of another straight shootout um so we’ll see how much ammo they got and I’m I’m super excited for that um Packers and Seahawks I I feel like the exact same way about both teams like they they all right you know they they happen to have a good season right now like I’m not like scared I’m not like Packers or Seahawks but right now they are both you know competing uh for for a playoff spot so I want to I do want to see can the Seahawks get that full game like upet or you know is Jordan love about to hit him with something uh the only other game that I feel like is even worth mentioning because I feel like like I don’t know I mean there there’s some like you know how we said like Cowboys and Panthers like that that’s there’s gonna be some good games but um in terms of playoff teams you know playoff relevant games give me the Bucks and the Chargers because you know the Bucks the the NFC South is you know it’s pretty much between the Falcons and the bucks but my man Kirk Cousins yo he playing like Kirk step cousins right now here four straight losses zero Lally zero TDS in in four straight losses but eight picks like it’s crazy what’s going on in Atlanta right now so it seems like you know all the Bucks have to do is just simply like be average um but you know they’ve been battling through injury baker has thrown a lot of picks in his last couple games so you know they somebody got to write the ship and I know the Bucks are going to try to do that but the Chargers are a real team with a real Coach this team I mean they losing players you know quinston Johnson cannot catch a ball I I don’t even know if he has if he has fingers man I feel like he just has two Palms he’s just trying to cat the ball two Palms but like they still they still competing they still competing somehow so you know those are two teams that you know want to be in the playoffs that currently are in the playoffs if the season ended today so I I think that’s a really exciting game because both of those teams are goingon to be amped up now just a quick reminder in case you don’t know there’s a whole slew of teams from all the divisions that have already been eliminated from playoff contention New York Jets New England Patriots Cleveland Browns shocking Jacksonville Jaguars Tennessee Titans Los Angeles Raiders the New York Giants and that it so far but that is a whole slew of people in one week all these teams went down in a pile of Heap so they are done so the playoff implications for all of these games are vast now I want to make sure that we get Caleb on a couple other topic so I’m going to jump ship on uh on the football thing we’ll come back to it but Caleb I want to get your Insight on the latest news to come out of the NBA LeBron the King James he’s left the team with a leave of absence now there’s a lot this is a loaded situation we don’t know the inside information I’m just going to put that caveat on that if you do sure but a lot of us here this is all everything that we say is likely going to be speculation based upon the facts that we’ve seen or we’ve heard also will he become a warrior down the road oh God right so Caleb take it wherever you want to take it from again you can start with like the mey of of of why you think he’s he’s taking time or whatever that is and then we’ll go from there well what they’re saying is that it’s a foot thing like his foot injury and to be and to be fair to to LeBron last season he had the same like injury like there’s something wrong with his foot which I could believe he been playing in the NBA since he’s 18 years old like you don’t think there’s nagging injuries that just become something and your foot is everything I remember Eli went out for a long time with that PL FL flashius right and that’s the that your arch the thing right like I mean come on so I I actually believe that I think he need rest I think they they they want to just try to hang in there let them get healthy and good so they could try to make a run to at least make the playoffs what they don’t want to do is not make the playoffs in Rick’s first year because then it’s just going to look bad because inside they know what they did LeBron made sure that reic was the coach they drafted like so when you do all that you gotta at least make playoffs you can get beat in the first round as long as you make it it’s like because they ain’t expecting to win no chip but they could at least do that it shows like they were they were competitive and that looks good on the resume because people people could say what oh that’s I knew somebody was gonna say I knew somebody say that’s bad that’s bad that’s bad and you know what listen it’s not it’s not against the law to be freaky you I’m saying it’s only it’s only illegal if you’re forcing people to join you don’t want to I digress I think I so I I will give him that a little bit right um and then the whole thing about the warrior thing if he does that his legacy is shot like in my mind like like you’re like you’re the wackest dude ever like you’re like you’re so trying to to to make people think you are something that you’re not right which is the goat right like you hurt yourself when you try to do that right it’s what people say about um new people with money they’re like you know he ain’t got no money he he wearing it all right like like Michael Jordan used to say real money Whispers right so the idea that you’re trying to show and all this kind of stuff that’s what that would be oh you just gota oh Steph and I because you don’t want Steph to get another chip on your ass and now he’s got the same amount as you and I mean uh no they got the same amount now he would have more than you and now he’s really the goat of this generation not you because he did it without switching teams he did it with the team that was handed to him that he was put in he didn’t go make super teams he didn’t go do none of that Steph a’t never had a super team Steph was a super team how about that with a dude who with the third best player only averaging two points okay like like think about that [ __ ] you know what I mean so so I that’s that’s what I that’s what I think about that situation but I’ll give them Grace with the injury I could I could believe it and I think they’re resting them and just hoping they can get through this this this period but the team seems to play better when LeBron’s not there yeah it’s just it’s always the irony of that thing right of that situation when the best player or the player that’s the most outspoken when they’re not there all of a sudden team’s like cool man we can play ball now and then all of a sudden all of a sudden schemes work they’re running and gunning and it’s just a completely different vibe I think I cut you off Woody your take no I was just wondering if um you guys seen uh Kobe Covington the UFC fighter he’s actually fighting tomorrow yeah um and you know it’s his press conference but he he and I think that’s that’s probably why TC steals brought this up is because he his rant had nothing at all to do with this fight he literally did not mention his fight and you know he mentioned um LeBron James and you know the the the party Diddy party so I think that’s that’s uh got it for the conspiracy theorists out there you know they’re like oh Kobe comington mentions this and then he has on leave absence you know now they out here uh he played uh the Raptors yesterday and he had orange hair so now people are suspect like maybe the Knicks or maybe this the Suns I think was the Suns was the front runner so I don’t know I don’t know about any of this uh Caleb let’s start with you just because you might you might have to bounce in the next couple minutes what do you think about these rumors true false do you like colored hair no I don’t like unless you a rock star or something like I come on man and I just with the theatrics why can’t people just play basketball you got a platform just say it you know what I’m saying like be a man just say it be like listen I want to play for this team this team this team or that team holl at you boy I’m gone I’m gonna go score 40 you know what I’m saying like that’s all you got to do 2029 46.87 million and then 2030 for the next eight years 2038 $46 million this contract is so absurd once we get into those kind of numbers I don’t even know what it means anymore batting average 2288 you know uh yeah 41 home runs 108 109 RBIs what what are we even talking about here Woody what can you can you help me what is happening where’s this money coming from um you know I I think this is another one of those where they say this is why the MLB needs a salary cap um I you know I’m I can see both sides right you know if you got it if you’re willing to spend the amount then you know hats off to you but it really does hurt uh small Market teams um you know so I kind of see both sides of it but hey what I gotta say about the contract is that the Yankees offered something similar the Red Sox offered somebody offered something similar with this really is is a result of supply and demand this guy was the most in demand uh player in the entire MLB you know uh you know Superstar building blocks at that age do not grow on trees trust me if they did this whole world would be full of Farms trying to you know they get rid of the Farms to create cities but we would be destroying that streak eight picks you know the Falcons offense I mean luckily fan Robinson is a beast he’s one of the best running backs in all football um I would say you know he’s top five right there’s saquan there’s uh Derk Henry um he might be right there he literally could be right there I know Joe mixon’s having a fantastic year as well so you know he’s up there as well but um yeah I would say bejan’s having a great year trying to keep them alive but I mean you need somebody who can consistently throw the football preferably to your team and the Falcons are in a unique situation because they did actually draft a QB in the first round you know Michael penck Junior so it’s super interesting I mean you look at BO Nicks who was drafted after penck and now he’s like the front Winer front runner excuse me to win the uh Rookie of the Year you know his Broncos who everyone thought was going to be you know a top five pig next year is in the wild card they are in the playoffs right now the season ends so we have seen rookie QBs have success I mean Jaden Daniels is the obvious choice where you know they got off to the hot start they are currently competing with the Eagles to win that Division and that was a team that definitely nobody was thinking was gonna do anything this year um so I would say that yes um pennx starting a rookie like pennx it’s it’s it’s a tough it’s a tough choice it’s a tough choice personally if I am the one making the decision I would probably I think I would I think I would and it’s the same thing that happened with Bryce young and Andy Dalton right Bryce Young The Narrative what you saw what they were saying about him the first five weeks right and then they benched him right they get the uplifting right they get the the reinvigoration of hey Andy Dalton is now starting and you know they do a fantastic job there but then when they go back to Bryce you know it’s that renewed like hey you know this isn’t a guarantee I can lose this so I got to do everything in my power not to lose it and now we’ve seen Bryce Young play the best football you know have his best best stretch of football of his career I think this is the exact same thing and I know that you know Kirk is not a you know 24 year old kid he’s been here uh a lot or a long time but that same concept of you know when you sign a contract that the contract that Kurt Cousins has signed that’s pretty much to be the starter you don’t sign uh you know you don’t get 50 mil to sit on the bench so you know Kirk I’m assuming he probably thinks that yeah he is a starter but to kind of take that away from him and let pennic you know your first round like I just said you know first round uh QBs as a matter of fact of his peers have had good games this season right Caleb Williams has played well in a few games Jayden Daniels has played well in a lot of games Drake may had one of the best starts statistically um to a career as a a you know young QB that has ever been done in the NFL and then uh bo Nicks who is the current firm runner for rookie of the year so all of his peers have played well one point of another who’s to say penck won’t play well with that team break London um Kyle pittz bejon Robinson Darnell Mooney uh Ray Ray MCL like they have weapons they have Speedy guys they have the the big targets they have the strong targets they have Shifty guys they have everything you need as a young QB to develop um this was supposed to be almost like a superpowered offense uh running you know the you know A variation of mcvey’s offense uh with Kirk in the helm and we’ve seen it he 500 yards earlier this year so we have seen that team go off um but you know the either whether it’s he Achilles or old age or maybe he’s distracted I don’t know but Kurt Cousins is not looking like kurk cousins right now so if I was the coach of the team I would bench him for Michael penck Jr see what this kid can do if this kid this kid can potentially save your playoffs hopes right because they’re not getting a wild card you need to win the division in order to do it right so in order so if you’re going to make the playoffs you need to win the division and in that case you have to try your best to win out and if Kirk isn’t winning games then let’s see what Michael penx has and of course if pennx ain’t it you know they can go back to Kurt let him you know were late was because the Yankee show was doing a tremendous job crying about sto and you know wishing that he was there um right pretty much doing that uh oh Johnny boy I’m seeing your comments right now um do I believe that putting him in now would Hur him uh heard who her Kirk I mean hey we trying to win so I can’t be worried about hurting too many people’s feelings right now I was saying if um you know Pedic um like I feel like he could be ready he could be ready he’s been watching this whole time you know learning a a fantastic system with fantastic weapons um so I feel like putting him in you know I feel like you know it’s big pressure it is definitely big pressure because it’s like whenn now um but if he doesn’t look great I feel like it almost takes off the pressure the fact that Kirk has looked so bad like I don’t think he if if they play penx the next four games I don’t think they’re going 0 for four and penx is throwing zero touchdowns for eight interceptions which is what we are in the midst of right now so I don’t think it would hurt him even though yes it’s a lot of pressure they are a good team he is a good quarterback his peers have done well there are a lot of reasons to believe that he would also do well not you know blow the socks off you know the league but um do well enough to keep them afloat and let them do what they do so that’s that’s what I would say is that um I don’t I don’t think you can hurt him you know worst case scenario is that like he physically gets hurt you know but other than that no like even if he stinks you know Kirk has stunk so okay maybe it’s a team issue but um I would imagine that he would do pretty average which would be great for a team of that caliber where you know you don’t have to be great you can be average and Drake London can take something to the house you can be average bejan Roberts to take something to the house uh you can be average and AJ Terrell on the other side gets a pick six you know so um there’s a lot of things that can happen if you’re just average on a good team so I don’t think that would hurt him but yeah you know this is Uptown sports TV uh it is an honor uh for myself James
