I’m just going to assume I’m G to give that blanket statement across the board um my American friends that you see on your screens they had their Thanksgiving uh if they celebrate or partake but I know that it was full of love and holiday cheer the ramp up is here um obviously if you’re a Canadian you know we had ours last month and it was the best um but I did take advantage of black uh Black Friday of what yeah I called it that it’s fine je you just can’t uh hey it’s a pop off let’s get it going and I am here obviously surrounded by some beautiful humans Jean how are you dude I’m doing good my man my my mic’s a little bit a little bit echoey today I apologize uh got a new setup that’s not fully functional yet so by next week I’ll be fine but got have to deal with some Echo there you go okay we we’ll deal we’ll manage and if we don’t we’ll just uh we’ll get my man woody to meet you moody how are you sir I’m I’m doing good doing good I’ve been I’ve been sick for a little bit uh you know we approaching week three now so I feel like I might need to talk to a doctor I might I might have to usually these things just pass you know that that’s usually you know how I do things just let don’t need you throwing any of that stuff cybernetically through um all right let’s have some fun y’all hey I’m going to be honest and open and upfront I didn’t watch much of the game last night at all we’re talking about that NFL Banger thaten it’s true uh Detroit comes out with a victory 3431 against Green Bay and it turns Detroit’s record into a wiing 12 and one this is outrageous kind of but not really I guess this because of the turnaround in the Detroit area where they just they’ve just flipped it everybody a Believer which Caleb has mentioned many times on this show everybody has bought in and Green Bay just could not get it together they’re Scrappy enough but they end up with a nine and4 record right now couple quick stats before we talk about this game passing leader was Detroit’s very own and my fantasy very own jarro goof with 283 yards rushing leader was Josh Jacobs who I also have on my fantasy Squad uh with a wiing 66 okay that didn’t help much and the receiving leader Christian Watson who is also on my fantasy squad on the bench with 114 yards man did I ever mess up this week already but let’s talk about the game from the dudes that watched it a little bit more than I did Woody I saw you not you had the biggest reaction to me not watching the game what do you think it was electric because the reason why I was so hyped was because you know Thursday night right that’s been the theme you you know you pointed out how Thursdays have been so electric this game it came to the final seconds this was an unbelievable game the lead changes in the second half just kept coming you know back and forth back and forth back and forth this was a fantastic game so that trend of the Thursday night football games being exciting has surely been continued last night love it now Josh Jacobs you want to talk about 66 yards how about the three TDS carried all my teams all my team that boy couldn’t keep him out the endone they cannot keep him out the end zone it’s like my son my son is three you know the draw with scissors can’t keep them out he’s out here I try to put this you know this little Gadget this little do hickey he’s just ah break that and now he’s playing with sisters again that was Josh Jacobs last night going to the end zone they could not keep the boy out uh you know Dan Campbell definitely uh was was calling some some shots right you know fourth and short um you know on his side of the field you know he kind of gave the the Packers a chance to win the game on a silver platter um they did convert that time uh but they were able to drive down the field and you know waste a time before the field goal so uh there are chinks in the armor you know I I know that the lions are are 12- one um but I I I don’t know I don’t know I I feel like this is a team that that that can be beat just hasn’t necessarily been beat yet nice nice analysis I love it I’m like I said man I am distraught that I missed it to be honest with you uh I was teaching last night and then after that I just rewarded myself after I took all the garbage went to my local and I never turned back after that um yes what’s up forever one ghost what’s up what’s up what’s up shout out to Dragon Ball Z got that nice little Avatar uh Jean Fitz magic did you watch the game what you think thoughts oh you are muted so I didn’t I didn’t watch the game last night there you go but for a good reason iing I was I was watching planes TRS and Automobiles yes yes I’ll let I’ll that’s a pass that’s a pass yeah have wait was it your first watch no I’ve watched it a million times but like I didn’t watch it on Thanksgiving and and I always watch it on Thanksgiving at one point because it’s a Thanksgiving movie and um my daughter had mentioned hey you know we didn’t see this year when Thanksgiving was Planes Trains and Automobiles I was like put it on now so we it and it got to it crept into the game and then I just never got back to the game I went to bed early so I want to get to the gym this morning so yeah so unfortunately I didn’t I did not watch it Johnny boy but hey Johnny boy so um I apologize guys but the one thing we do know this is the lions are for real 12-1 I don’t know if they ever started off 12-1 have they this got to be this has to be a a franchise record now probably in 1933 yeah yeah right [Laughter] when it was when it was when it was uh the the you know all those guys with the leather helmets you know but yeah the uh they you know yeah they’re here to stay man and um TC we’ll see I they uh I agree it gets a little scary even back to last year with some of these calls by uh by by by the head coach but you know what you got to live by the you’re going to live by the sword you’re going to die by the sword right so we’ll see but I I unfortunately did not watch the game so I can’t give much Insight that’s all good bad guy uh no that means two of us and uh and Caleb what you think hey what’s up Ronald hey shout out to everybody in the chat again I haven’t mentioned it uh today yet but yeah by all means man whatever whatever you kids have to offer if you want to throw some comments in the chat if we’re talking about the games we’re talking about anything else you want to throw it in there that adds to this conversation we are free flowing um uh quadripod of of Minds here so please by all means uh Sports is our main gen but listen we will get off the rails real quick now I throw it to Caleb what’s up my man what do you think of the game hold on does anyone else agree to me that Kendrick’s Lamar is nothing you asking you shall receive Kendrick back to back completely it is dope I completely disagree because here’s why Johnny amazing you’re listening to music for to party and to be in a certain thing then absolutely you could say it doesn’t do that but it has a couple tracks that can get close but that’s not that’s never been Kendrick’s thing Kendrick has never been the like the for sack lack of a better reference a drake where you know Drake is gonna feel good it a it may not be about nothing but feeling good in that moment right but Kendrick is a different type of artist Noti said artist right it’s it’s it’s it’s different it’s way more complex and um so for that I like it like I really love reincarnate because I love the idea of rapping from the perspective of different people and then the third verse he’s rapping as if he is the devil right being music is was Lucifer’s thing right like if that’s brilliant to me so to e and then to lay it down in a track and wrap from that perspective to me is genius like people aren’t doing that in the times of of get [ __ ] and money and yeah yeah and every yeah I okay but damn I’m 45 I need something a little bit more in depth than that I’ve been in my 20s all day long you know what I’m saying but in my 40s it’s just different for me so I have a different appreciation so for me it’s not whack but I do understand if it’s if it’s in the mode of kicking it and we trying to party that may not be what you want to hear you ain’t trying to hear gospel when you trying to get some you know what I’m saying you be like hey I a’t trying to hear about Jesus right now I’m trying to whack that ass so don’t put that on my please don’t put that on my when you trying to waack that it’s like come on you gotta throw something else on so I get it but to me it’s it to me it’s good but I could understand people that think it’s not absolutely it’s you ain’t getting little baby from Kendrick it’s just not you know what I mean so that’s what that is so real quick the game right so I’mma just say this I enjoyed it here’s what I really I love Dan Campbell because because he plays what with what Tony Montana says the only thing that gives orders the only thing that gives orders is false right I love it like he’s and his I get it and that’s what I’m saying TC is like I love and he was willing to take if he didn’t get it cuz don’t act like Dan Campbell didn’t get it last season like you know what I mean he also didn’t get it um he didn’t get one earlier in the game but it’s who Who you gonna be who you gonna be you know what I mean decide which one you know what I’m saying like Denzel said in Training Day you want to go to jail you want to go home make a decision make a decision I I think you said that in Gladiator too as well but continue oh my God don’t even get me started know I W we did it we did it last week we did it last week did it lastek he had a 45 at the table he put it down and go I was like yo but anyway I digress but look but I love that about Dan right so you know what you’re gonna get with him and and I will say this um uh Jordan love balling until they really needed it they didn’t get it they got the field goal it’s like no you can’t be within the 10 and I I get the penalty right but all of that [ __ ] is is like mental it it’s like come on y’all don’t do what are you doing right but even that it was I think it was first and 20 or second and um well it was a second and goal but like from the 20 you got you gotta get that because everything is on the line right so now you’re gonna give Detroit whose offense looks Unstoppable right like at any moment they can something’s gonna happen that Jamar giv I mean jir givs he’s so damn I mean it’s just insane so you’re going to give it to them and it was like four minutes like you know what I mean like they had they had time I think with a when the game is so high scoring defense obviously isn’t doing it so you got to get a you got to get a a a fumble or a pick right and Green Bay couldn’t do it and then Dan Campbell had you know he’s gonna go for it it was fourth in inches I didn’t think he was gonna hand it off I thought golf was gonna lean over at least I think golf was like what 63 6’4 something like he could he could get over to get that so I knew they were going for it but again it’s like I I’m upset that Jordan love couldn’t because like that’s that’s what that is that was a playoff game last night and Dan Campell made a statement like this is how we doing it right and I think it’s great I can’t wait to see them against Buffalo you know what I mean um I don’t know I I think I think they’re gonna play hard right even though each team doesn’t need it it’s a game that’s actually inconsequential outside of Detroit trying to get HomeField advantage throughout right which is they’re like almost there so I I I understand that but like I want to see a game because Buffalo will be a test because I think Josh Allen is better than golf like not even a comparison right and but I think the Lions have a better team but the bills have a more healthier defense right like so so it’s like it’s a it’s a balance so I’m looking I’m really looking forward to that I think it’s going to say a lot because it could be a Super Bowl preview you know what I mean but anyway I I I I did enjoy the game I was just like can anybody play defense Lord have mercy it was like the offenses was just cut I mean but Detroit Detroit was able to do it they a they were able to hold them to three points instead of six and that was the that was the game deciding um um um stand right there so you know shout out to Detroit and I I just love who Dan Campbell is as a human being that he coaches that way yeah it’s uh I mean listen I think you said a couple pointing things there and the things I’m going to extrapolate from that especially is that this this was a playoff game man like we’re this is we’re week 14 kids you only have a couple more weeks left and if you’re on the bubble if you’re on the cusp now is the time where you have to Buck up like you have to really prove your word to get into the playoffs get into the wild card at the very least and like you said love didn’t seem to be the guy yesterday last night night but I like his trajectory it’s just it’s just a long like he’s doing great there’s no obviously we’re not I feel like we’re all in Union about this the kids of stud great everything’s great but it’s those moments where that’s gonna differentiate you from a modern day Patrick Mahomes right that’s what made Patrick dope was that Patrick would have got a touchdown in that you know what I mean like or even like a Brady or whatever but there’s just a guy and you know the guy and so it’s like we’re just excited to see that he could have that potential so shout out to him um yeah man listen amazing I’m stoked everything is great on the uh on the NFL front uh we’re having a good time now we did talk about Dan Campbell and we talked about how uh quote unquote Reckless he may be because he’s making these calls and like Jean said you know live and die by the sword man that’s that’s the way it is if you’re G to make those calls just know that there is a 99.9 chance that this may not work out for you but would you rather have Jordan love or Jared Goff Jean right now yes right now right now I’d rather have Jared G yeah um I think if you would to say who do you want over the next course of years I would say I would I would say Jordan love but right now Jared gof is playing in his Zone like we we’ve seen his accuracy um throughout the these past few weeks uh he just seems to be to be on right now um you know so right now I I I gotta go I I gotta go Jared goth is he this good I don’t know if he’s really this good or if he’s just he’s just having a nice run right now I think that’s really what it is they catching lightning in the bottle I don’t think he’s really this good I’ve never seen him play this well before um and I don’t expect him to play this well going forward really after this season I think they got him in in a good spot right now and um if this year alone I would I would take Jared gof if you were to say who do I want for the next five years I would say Jordan love but right now I would take Jared goof you keep saying this one thing which is very interesting to me like um uh you’re like Brock pie I’m just gonna jump [ __ ] for one second you’re like Brock pie he he’s not he’s not Elite he’s he’s only good because he’s got the weapons that’s he’s surrounded by now I feel like conversely or even maybe in the same breath Goff isn’t as good as perie per se let’s say uh but I think that what Goff has is the surrounding The Supporting Cast that everybody is feeding off of each other if you were to put gof on another team I think he’d still be pretty good regardless of those of the units that he has beside him it just feels like this is more of a cohesive unit as opposed to when you were saying I’m not arguing with you about it or or pushing back I’m just saying as opposed to you know pry and the pieces he has around him he’s got to rest up and get back in the field but um because you know when they are gone it is it is a quote unquote problem right I think go is pretty I think I think you nailed it awesome uh I’m doing my job let’s go to uh Caleb let’s go to you my man uh what are we thinking here right now at this moment would you take Jordan love or jar goof sound off in the chat too if you’re so so Sean said that G is like he was he’s playing with his hair on fire and I feel like yeah Sean is right because he’s on the damn Lions if Jordan love was on the Lions and had that exact team [ __ ] I Jordan love all day like in my opinion because he can do more and he could he could be just as accurate if he’s got them boys out there and I’m not saying the Packers receivers are whack they’re good but what I mean is the Lions offense is I mean uh offensive line is the best in the NFL right like theirs is number one the Eagles are number two right he’s got a two-headed monster behind him right he’s got great rece D laap pora it to me is he’s at least he’s top three tight end top three right because you could say oh boy um Brock Brock Bowers in in in Vegas and then of course um um um Travis Swift right but it’s like it’s like and I just say that with love I love trais you know what I mean but but but anyway but but Le Porter like that is nasty and then you got a boss dog as your coach that’s the big brother like that you like I’m G tell my big brother and people like oh you look what nothing right because like like Campbell is that dude like Campbell might come off the sideline and fight with the team if they get into it like you know what I mean like like he’s got that because he used to play at least that’s his energy I think that gives you a sort of thing and then love not saying um Matt Matt lafl isn’t that or anything but what I mean is in a certain setting I think it elevates I think if you switch golf in in in love I think love will be having just as good of a season as Golf and golf would and I don’t think golf would have just as quite as good of a season as love does with that team I’m just saying now I could absolutely be wrong the [ __ ] do I know but I’m just saying in my humble opinion I feel like that’s what it is because I’ve never yeah he definitely does you play linebacker as deep as the line and [ __ ] like that but anyway the I think I just think it’s a um it’s a it’s a different thing right that J that that gol has it’s like perfect it’s like the perfect storm right now right it’s like they’re making Thriller the [ __ ] production is crazy the the the songw writing is crazy the lead singer is [ __ ] Michael and he came with this new dance and he’s wearing a leather jacket with zippers I mean it’s like ah you know turn into wolves and [ __ ] it’s like it’s changing the game so I think golf is in this position if they do do not win the Super Bowl this year it’s going to be devastating for Jared because he’s going to believe what he used to think about himself you know what I mean like right there but just not just not it you know what I’m saying so so so uh what was that Dr Evil said just one calorie not evil enough like it’s like that you know I think I think like I this is and I’ve mentioned this to you guys on the Pod before this is where I thrive the most when watching NF fell when you see a team that is clicking on all cylinders that can’t be stopped and when you watch an offense and then it just th and then the defense feeds off of them and vice versa it is so fantastic to watch because it’s just like and it doesn’t matter who the team is it it really doesn’t matter it’s just more like just everybody is on board and I think it’s the best Johnny boy I will go go because I don’t want come on you get your feelings into it but hey real quick go off of what you just said Nigel yeah that’s what happened that’s what happens to Dallas that’s why everybody comes down on them through the regular season that throwing everywhere oh my God oh my God person that has being looked at to be a head coach this next season so um I mean gol is in you know a fantastic spot um and still is out here throwing five interceptions last night right only one person threw for interception it wasn’t Jordan love right so I I think um yeah I would I would take love uh now and um you know for the next five years like what uh what Jean was saying um I’m going have to say to this though I mean the Rams I mean one team has a Super Bowl from the trade the other team doesn’t of course if you know they win the Super Bowl this year then we could we could start uh you know debating but I I think that you know the Rams they they instantly got the super team from the trade and they instantly cashed in on it yeah 1,00% and if golf wins the Super Bowl it’s the Lions by far because of the story behind them like they haven’t gotten in right like like it was like when LeBron wanted in Cleveland in the way that they did that’s the only reason why he started give us room right so I think I think that race for the NFC thing is over as far as getting it now of course anything and if they do then that’s just horrific so I don’t imagine us catching them what I do think is cool is you know everybody likes playing in the dome so everybody be like okay at least we ain’t gotta be outside right it changes it changes it changes the flow a little bit but it’s hard going into that into Detroit to get a win it is difficult because that crowd is ridiculous you know what I mean so I don’t expect expect us to um there’s no competition in our division so we should walk into the playoffs we’ll definitely clench it and um hopefully everybody stays healthy because for us if saon goes down that’s it like like like like like there goes Christmas I’m telling you now like he has to stay healthy his him being in that offense makes it what it is you know what I mean so um God willing everything St good on that but if if say everybody’s healthy will it’ll be a good it’ll be a good game you know if we get there because again playoffs everything is different one day yeah one you mentioned now you mentioned uh because I want to jump to this next subject quick but you mentioned uh everybody loves playing inside or it feels like everybody loves playing inside because we saw what happened in San Francisco when they decided to play outside and buffalo was like cool man telling you welcome to the north baby uh and that that literally couldn’t have played out more stereotypic typically than we had thought it would play out um so with that in mind my question is I was going to ask Jean but he’s gone uh this is gonna go to udy or Jean’s back great my question is Jean do we think that Kyle Shanahan because we’ve been talking about coaches do we think Kyle Shanahan is on the hot seat you know um first let me let me say this before we even get into what I think I can’t wait go check out Woody has a fantastic uh article written about I I won’t give it away but written about Kyle Shanahan and another team um but I don’t think so we talked about it earlier I don’t think he is you know he’s in a season where he’s got Lo so many injuries to key players pry Miss time and again I do think P’s overrated but P his quarterback Miss time his wide receivers Miss time his star rookie got shot in the chest Miss like the first bunch of games of the season um the guy who destroyed one of my fantasy teams uh Christian mcaffrey didn’t play for 10 weeks came back for a couple games and he’s out again you know his defense is banged up um he started the season without one of his key defensive players it’s a miracle they’ve won as many games as they did and I think he’s one of the not no actually scratch that I think he is the brightest offensive mind in the game right now and I hope and pray and wish he was on a hot seat because my team I would love him to coach my team I don’t think he’s on the hot seat I think it would be ridiculous for um for them to put him on the hot seat and I think I just I just think Lynch is smarter than that I don’t think Lynch would I don’t think Lynch would would even is even remotely thinking about changing head coaches um he’s the best best head coach in the game to me right now um so yeah I don’t think he is and I I think it would be silly If he if if they do put him there you know it it would be the dumbest move in maybe all football um well that being said uh shout out to Woody in your article my man can you tell the people tell the tell the fans the listeners where to find this article and then without giving it away give us your your take on uh on shanan do you think you should uh do you think he’s on Hot Seat absolutely jetnation dcom um you know I’m one of the newest contributors for the site so All Things New York Jets you know uh you know we can cry together pretty much what I could offer right now because the team is is straight booty cheeks but uh you know um that that’s pretty much uh what the article is about is shining the light that Niners Nation is is is shining on Kyle’s tenure there you know Niners Nation is very upset with him you know they don’t have you know any rings in in the Shanahan era I’ve seen you know respected journalists in their world actually say that Kyle is holding Brock pie back holding back Mr arelin that’s what I’ve seen wow um they they want him gone the fan base the fan base now luckily their their owner is not woody Johnson so they don’t make uh decisions based on Twitter but you have to think that some of these guys you know iuk in the contract dispute you know they’ve had these issues um is this window closing right with all the money with all the injuries you know is CMC you know coming back the same player he’s had all these different lower body injuries you know Miss all this time with lower body injuries and then two games later his ailles just you know pops so it’s just um the the window could be closing and if they just want a fresh start a fresh you know change it’s not always about oh well is this a good coach because Andy Reid is probably my pick for best coach in the league and the Eagles says say la to him right you know Shawn Payton super respected coach the Saints traded him away to the Broncos and now look at the Broncos right what what they’ve done to turn around their franchise so good coaches do get moved they do get fired they do get traded um especially for an organization that’s looking to make a change and I don’t know seven years of Shanahan I mean I’m not gonna lie his resume is kind of fire they made in Super Bowl twice uh you know they they’ve accomplished a lot but there was no ring to show for it and a stat that they I I think he’s like oh I really don’t want to say a number because if it’s wrong like you know it’s gonna but he he has a very poor record in games where they are losing in the fourth quarter and that’s what you know they they try to attack him on so I think that they are way more willing to depart with him than we assume because we all respect Kyle Shanahan as a great coach so that was pretty much most of the article was explaining how it got to be and why the New York Jets should mortgage everything they have try to get that man over in um Floren park because that would that would change my life I I I just want to say one thing too is um there’s a comment saying would he bring back uh Salah as the DC and I’d sign up for that in a in a minute because that’s the one thing I think Sal’s good at being a DC he’s not a he’s not a head coach he’s just Salah is not a head coach um but he’s a fantastic defensive coordinator and we’ve seen the defense slip since he’s left anyway um so I think it it just shows you even more I would I would I would sign up I don’t know if Sal would want to come back but I would sign up for that tandem in a heartbeat nice love it um yeah I mean the guy’s record is is outstanding um I mean sure he started in 2017 so this is his eth season you know uh he’s missed a playoff two seasons in a row but then 2019 they lost in the Super bowl next season missed the and it’s the playoffs and then 2021 2022 go to the NFC championship and lose 2023 they lost another Super Bowl 2024 is yet to be determined track record is extensive it is a cause for some head offices to uh lay Paws and fire somebody but in this case I don’t think that is the right move from my opinion uh I think shanan is the man for them for the foreseeable future which is like another two or three seasons and then we’ll go from there it also depends on injuries man who knows who knows only uh Woody only Pat Riley can save the New York Jets let’s make it happen shout out to Johnny Boy talking the real talk over here love it uh okay uh let’s jump into the next topic of conversation I’m going to feel this one to Caleb out the gate actually you know what this one is a dealer choice not dealer choice because that’s me anybody anybody can take on this one because we are talking about Coach prime time now can he make the jump to the NFL will he make the jump to the NFL there’s been rumors there’s been hearsay but what do we think Collective coach prime time is he making is he making the move to the no fun League no not yet I think he will um not yet he’s got a great class coming in this year he’s already mentioned about going nuts in the transfer portal this year um I think he also wants to prove that he wasn’t just there for his kids and that he actually wants to go accomplish look he’s accomplished things in every other stop that he’s had right I think he wants to finish the job here I think if he was would to if I think hypothetically if they would have been like in the in the you know in the talk to win the championship this year then yeah you might see him go elsewhere already but I think he wants to get to that level first here um and then I think you could see maybe within the next three or four years make that jump but I don’t think he’s ready this year anybody else um I I think I know you put you know the the the money the exposure and the opportunity to coach his son you know you see the hoopla that was made about LeBron James Jr who is not an NBA quality player he’s just not which is why he doesn’t play right but they you know stopped the world stopped the game had them posed next to a real you know father son Duo because of the you know of of the story coach Prime has an opportunity to be a Ken griffy type situation with Shor with you know having that father son coach uh player NFL team could be big money like the Cowboys could be the Giants right could be the jet you know uh there are you know uh those are you know the biggest markets in the sport uh I don’t know if that’s something that that he would turned out I don’t know if that’s something that any human being I know would turn down Jee brought up a fantastic point that you know to finish where you started right the recruiting class has already that’s already begun he’s already done fantastic work there so there are plenty of reasons to stay but you know on that scale does it outweigh what could be if you know they were able to uh you know pair them together I don’t I don’t know yeah you know um I don’t I think Dion is an absolute businessman and I think he understands how perception is reality and how things are so he understands that there’s a desire for him because it’s in the media and all of that right so he knows that there’s a market so I agree with Jean he’s definitely not going this season he’s going to let shador go right but it will be after next season that he’ll start Fielding calls because can he absolutely will he not right now he’s gonna plan it because he wants to maximize everything he wants to be on a team that he wants to coach that’s got the roster that’s already in place that he can come in and be who he is at that next level there’s no way a guy like Deion Sanders wants to stay at college no way like not when you see that you’re doing well you start off there to see if you could do it now it’s like he’s he’s gonna go up and all the players that he’ll get all grew up seeing him as the greatest defensive player to ever play the game like he’s considered defensively like a Lawrence Taylor a Ronnie lot Michael single ter right dudes that like like they’re the best at their position he’s the best cornerback to ever play the game no doubt you can name others but nobody’s better than Dion like in people’s minds whether that’s true or not Rod Woodson could have been better who knows you know what I mean but I think it’s going to be it’s gonna be in yeah absolutely it’s gonna and look he’s gonna want to turn it around so when Woody said the Jets I kind of laughed but I was like [ __ ] that’s what he wants he would Dallas is different because you know okay but outside of Dallas because it looks like Mr McCarthy about to get himself a new listen they should stop man if I was Jerry Sons i’ be like hey go guard the wheel don’t let Dad change nothing on that [ __ ] Okay he G half of that gonna own it and there some stripper Nam peaches gonna be like yeah I get 15% Jerry sign this right here you know what I’m saying it’s always peaches man it’s like come on man it’s insane so anyway but the Jets right big mark Market everybody is clamoring for them could you imagine what would happen if he came over there and changed the game like what that’s the kind of stuff he looks for though like he wants that because he has a ego everybody does but primes is like to come in and be the dude that change things around come on so anyway I think he absolutely will it just will not be after this season I I would more I I doubt it’s more than two that he’ll do in Colorado I doubt he does plus the narrative oh absolutely and look shadur has shown that he could ball though Sean like his dad ain’t out there throwing them passes his dad ain’t out there evading those uh Defenders his dad ain’t out there running like that’s shador right like he’s showing it now there may be a thing where you feel comfortable because you know you got your dad support but I mean well Goddamn you know I mean like like I mean okay cool but I I I I don’t doubt that he can perform at an NFL level and um um much different than the other situation that Woody talked about so I just it’s it’s going to be I I think it’ll be great but I think Dion has no more than two more seasons at Colorado and then he’s gonna um check out but he’s definitely there next season 1,00% because he could do it without his son yeah I think I think you nailed it I’m I’m in the exact same camp as you I think two years like minimum um that he’s there especially when they’re in Bol contention now like let’s see how this season finishes out because this could be a bigger this could be lead to just a bigger paycheck and to your point let’s find out how how well he does with a new crop of uh new crop of players right um there was rumors about he did say some business about you know the Raiders because he likes he likes the Raiders Vibe you know but again I don’t know if that’s gonna come through fruition but I could see him in the silver and back black in the future so he’ll go to whoever gives him the money yeah yeah yeah absolutely uh I don’t doubt he can call Ball but what happens because we all know the situation in Cleveland very very interesting James Woody has a lot to say about Cleveland he’s always been an endorser but uh not so much of the Cleveland team but them on paper really them on paper um and the other also let Russ Cook though let R cook yeah you’re not wrong you’re not wrong I’m I’m slowly becoming on board slowly becoming on board uh and also uh I want to say the Bears and the 49ers there’s something about the Redemption song I want to see how the 49 49ers bounce back and I want to see how Chicago can try and do something because it’s been it’s been really challenging for them the last couple weeks um so those are my two picks that’s the 425 game anyone can chime in what games you looking forward to this weekend I got two games um the Seahawks and the Cardinals uh the game itself the last time they just played it which was like two weeks ago was terrible oh my God ter it was like six to 19 it was it was a really boring game but the NFC West as a whole is a very interesting division because um you know it’s not the the the they’re all very close but it’s not like the fireworks of the NFC North where every team you know 10 nine eight wins uh every team has like se you know like eight you know seven six eight um but this is a big this is a big um game for that division you know the ners are trying to fight to the playoffs the Rams are TR all four teams are trying to fight to the playoffs uh the Cardinals were the leader um they actually still could be I would have to check but um the Seahawks aren’t too far behind after they played so horribly against the Jets and still won the game maybe that’s you know the kick they need to be like hey guys like even when we give up the ball four times we can still win you know now this is the push that they need and hopefully DK meaf can do something for my fantasy team because he has been stinking it up but the second game I’m going to choose is another division game I just love I love these division games I mean give me the Chargers and the Chiefs and the wide receiver who has stepped up while DK has been stepping down lad Muny that is a name that I never expected to say this year on this show but I’ll say it again lad makoni that is his name that’s who he is and he has been balling for the LA chargers for the last couple weeks I want to see what he can do against a great a great great Chiefs defense um that has been doing a great job stopping people because the offense is still you know working some Kinks out so I want to see in that divisional matchup two of the best coaches in the entire NFL I would say they’re both top 10 Andy Reid and good old Jim Harbaugh doing his thing so um those are the two games I’m looking at Jean yeah so unfortunately I think the game of the week we got last night so really I like Sunday I’m there’s no major games I’m really looking forward to Sunday although just some um you know being that I have a team that’s in contention for a number one pick just seeing how many teams that are ahead of us for that number one pick could could mess up their their draft status and win a game um and I do have the Giants actually winning I have them they at home they got the Saints both teams are horrendous but I can see them coming up with a win um and of course suggest they going to Miami I don’t when wins even want of Miami I don’t even who knows um garbage garbage garbage garbage but I do love L you do yeah hey hey he’s been killing for fantasy for me man yeah he’s he’s definitely good I don’t um you know what’s so crazy that’s how you know a receiver is real is what happens so every so a good receiver will have start having breakouts right where people start talking about him and then the defensive coordinator says who oh okay we got him and then like what happened right like I swear it happens all the time puka the co oh my God Puka Puka huh oh yeah I mean you know he’s good like think about all the receivers whose names get blown up and then right Happ to Jeremy Lyn oh don’t do that he was the savior of the Knicks right anyway you know what I’m saying he was he was he was Asian Jesus but I’mma just say this I think it’s going to be I love the keeps and the Chargers game because they’re going to be outside it’s going to be cold as [ __ ] and we going to see how the Chargers really get down because the Chargers are good they should have been playing like this last year but they didn’t have that kind of Coach so there’s that but we’re gonna see where it is I expect lad to have a good game but it’s going to be a better defense the chief’s defense if you really look at it even though their record doesn’t show it has kind of started underperforming week by week like like if you really look at it and for whatever reason their their offense is able to get just enough right and there’s that but they’re the Chiefs it doesn’t it doesn’t matter like you know I mean they don’t need home field advantage they just need to get there right and then there’s that but I I think this will be a good a good test for the Chargers I’m looking forward to seeing it I’m looking forward to seeing um the 49ers and the Bears because I want to see I think that’s a good challenge for them and I really want to see what Brock can do see Brock needs to win these types of games because this will build who he is not well anybody could do it with Debo and and iuk and and CMC and and K and all that [ __ ] you know what I mean but when you’re able to do it without those without everybody I think it’s good and he doesn’t even have his best tackle right is that’s funny but again it’s it’s G to be interesting and I want to see the Cardinals and the um Seahawks I agree with Woody I think that game is gonna be dope like because the the NFC West is so anybody could win it still it’s still the 49ers could end up winning it that’s why it’s important for Brock like like like you still could save your season you win your division you’re in even once you’re in who [ __ ] knows what could happen you know what I mean so I think I think that’s what’s gonna make it um interested so I’m interested in seeing that I’m even interested to watching the Panthers because the Panthers have been playing better and I’m still a little nervous about oh boy on the sideline he might just do some [ __ ] and then and then we and cause cause cause Jaylen already holds the ball too long I don’t care what nobody say I don’t care about the wins I’m watching the game you hold the ball too damn long and then try to run out of it fumble interception overthrow something you know what I mean so it’s I’ll be interested but we should win that but um those are the games I’m really looking forward to I think it should be you know those ones will be will be good and I want to see the bills Hey Hey listen listen so there’s a scene in Harlem Knights where they talking about the champ fight fight fighting this white boy and and and Richard Pryor says to to Red Fox he says hey I heard that they say this white boy got a shot and red fox say oh yeah he got a shot in his ass and that’s what happened with the Jet got a shot in their ass there’s no there’s no better way to uh to jump into the New York Sports Market than that perfect segue I want to talk about some MLB Major League Baseball even though the season is done and over there’s still some chatter and this is a big deal this is a big deal a new introduction of rules potentially so the MLB commissioner Ron Manfred had said this is the New Deal potentially he’s just he’s just throwing it out there it is called the Golden at bat rule once a game a coach can choose to sit down whoever is on deck and instead send any batter of his choosing to the plate so you can just you yeah that’s that’s pretty much clear and concise that’s how it is let’s go to our baseball effici a jean Fitz magic what do you think about once a game a number one no more right but it’s like to do these gimmicky things I think it’s just like you’re making it I I don’t know it’s a but you know it’s like the NBA is going down too too many damn threes don’t nobody want to watch the [ __ ] it’s like like like it’s it’s just terrible so I think I think I think baseball should just leave it alone it’s fine as is you know what I mean it it’s what it’s gonna be if you want like I said if you cut Innings which I think is still sucks because then you gotta worry about records but at least cuz what happens is you compress it now it’s everything is more precious that’s what makes football so interesting every game means so much because there’s only 17 of them or 18 now but you know what I mean and everything is one lost elimination not a seven game series which I’m not deba I think that’s cool but what I mean is it’s why it’s so because everything is so it means everything right so so it’s like that and I just don’t like to Goen back so no yeah I think uh I think for me um and what talk it we to go Google for that don’t that’s gonna be talked about on the pop off after midnight so you got to tune in on Pop off after midnight we’ll be we’ll be talking about going showers um but yeah I think in football I mean conversely you know a little bit of push back uh in football the only thing is like all the timeouts or just like the stoppages of they took the NBA 2K model or all these video game models like hey for All-Star Game why don’t we have these guys play some street ball and they just pick their teams it worked for like one or two years after that people were tired of seeing that too so I mean sometimes you just don’t fix it if it ain’t broke or get rid of it uh shout out to Ronald duffney way early in the chat Ronald listen yes was this morning that the Mets may have you know somebody might have leaked at the Mets had Mets have already signed him like yesterday and they’re just holding it out for the winter meetings and whatnot um if they if the Mets signed him for 700 over4 as a Yankee fan I’d be furious and it’s not because the 700 or 750 listen it could be a billion dollars you know why that doesn’t bother me if it’s a b ion dollar contract over 15 years or whatever the hell it would be is because you’re never going to pay all that money that $700 that $700 million is never going to get paid because there’s going to be opt outs every two or three years he’s going to opt out at one point and he’s going to become a free agent again so I’m not worried about the big number I’m worried about the yearly number um and if it’s going to be like 50 million a year Yankees need to Pony up and get them you there’s no way you came into this thinking that you were going to pay less than that anyway um unless you took some type of huge discount and shame on you for thinking that and I don’t want I don’t want how coming out a few you know a few days ago whatever it was saying oh we have the money to to afford anybody we want and then B at this like if it’s if it’s the 14 for seven go out and get them still like what what you know and you know I get you know with Boris saying well we’re going to give the Yankees a last chance to um to to basically to to say you know they’re going to take any offer to the Yankees to give them the last chance and that’s such a smart idea because what it does is it puts all the pressure on how because how talked to begin game about being able to sign whoever he wanted this year if they if they tell the the the fans hey we’re taking the last offer to how for him to say yes or no on now it’s all on him where it it’s the fans will crush him for not coming up and pointing up and going that $1 over or matching or whatever would be so it takes the pressure of SoDo the fans might look at it like well we let him go we had the chance to match and we let him go it’s not his fault so Kudos and I usually hate Scott Boris not usually I always hate Scott Boris but if he was my agent that’s the perfect move put it all in Hal saying we’ll get a bring it back to Hal no matter what it is and give Hal a chance to match and um I just hope he does because I think um I don’t think you got to look at like the the length of the deal is a problem I don’t think you have to look at it as the the total contract is the problem because again it’s going to be opt outs what he does for them for the Yankees right now [Music] um it exceeds what what they and it exceeds what what they could do without him um and I think because he’s so young too I think he appeals to a a bet a different group of fans um that you can that you can look at and again and I don’t I do I know the numbers no but I’m sure if you look at the numbers from what they made in 2023 to what they made in 2024 I will guarantee you they made way more money in 2024 and part and soo’s part of that we know they have the money to afford sto plus so there’s no excuse for them not to so it’s got to be the Yankees you can’t let them get out all right all right well what do we think let’s make it real quick moving on to this topic what do you think Caleb I think that is gonna be hard for um the Yankees to keep them if they’re not showing because when everybody’s got money and you’re acting like it’s not a big deal and somebody’s acting like they want you and they got the money like how Johnny Boy bringing up the Mets right it’s like it changes it changes things and he was there he saw what happened last season with what it’s like like so he may wan to go but I agree with Jean I just you know was was balling um this this is a fantastic team I think I wouldn’t say that you know it’s not brunson’s team anymore like I think you know like we’ve already seen him hit uh a couple gamewinners this year um where you know he is go-to guy right he has been passing uh you know his assists have gone way up um this is this is brunson’s team he is a leader vocally all that type of stuff but cat has been B like BR like I I’m I’m a big cat fan right you know from day one or even before day one like in college I was like wow this guy’s gonna be great you know in the NBA he’s been really good he gets criticized for for certain things um but when the trade happened as you guys know I wasn’t like oh like this is huge because I was like I’m not sure about his fit I’m not sure about the fit with the team offensively bro offensively if OJ’s glove fit like that he would have went to prison in the 90s right but don’t Google it people don’t go if you don’t know about it don’t Google that we’ll wait for we’ll wait for the pop off at midnight for that one too but um defensively you know there’re still there’re still more more to be desired you know we hope with Mitch Robinson if he ever comes back this year um he can help out but you know uh cat it’s it’s been crazy he’s like you know the best offensive Center in the league and one of the worst defensive you know allowing I want to say it’s 86% of the shots in the rim around the rim uh to go in I mean that’s that’s just you know that’s terrible so um I would say still brunson’s team but it is an absolute joy say this though the NBA is biased like the NFL is right the big man always gets it over the little guy in the NBA always it don’t matter you got to be like extraordinary as a little guy to outshine the big guy right just like a quarterback the quarterback can be halfway decent and he’ll still get all the credit and the thing for being right You Gotta Be You Gotta Be uh sequin having a Sequon season to outshine hurts it’s just like that’s just what it’s going to be so the NBA’s bias so of course if cat keeps doing that it’s going to be cat’s team Jaylen can’t do nothing he can’t he can’t he can’t stand up to it right it’s not enough arms too short to box with God so that’s what’s gonna happen but I look forward to seeing what the Knicks do I can’t wait I don’t really pay attention to this uh random social media post that I said I’m betting the house the house on shot wow um this dude is a beast I mean um Russians have been taking over the UFC for quite some time right um the the issue though like almost you know historically they’ve all been the exact same it’s like all right they superr wrestlers right right because they wrestle Bears they legit wrestle Bears they can wrestle a human being right they have cardio they don’t get tired right they can take hits but they’re not really um Strikers right they can’t really strike like their whole strategy is to get you on the ground so the the thought is well if you keep keep these guys standing up you can eventually beat them because they don’t have the Striking prowess sh he can do it all all right so he puts all of that to like throw throw it out the window he has beaten some of the greatest Strikers in the history of his division out striking them so that’s not a problem for him but then you factoring the fact that he can also do all this on the ground I mean Ian gar is is a fantastic fastic Fighter um you know he’s a young upand cominging guy like they’re they’re trying to build him up to be the next big thing which is why I’m shocked that they’re doing they’re even doing this fight because shavkat should have got a title shot like he should have fought for the title um and then maybe Ian could could uh fight for the the title but for them to do this right now when they’re both undefeated um this is the most wins between two fighters in the history of UFC that are undefeated 33 between the two of them um yeah I I think Ian is really good I just don’t think he is as vicious and like I feel like he’s a clean fighter you know he’s gonna get his tags in he’s gonna put people down but when it gets you know nitty-gritty when you see him blood drip down your face and you know your nose is broken you know can do you have what it takes to you know still inflict damage we’ve never seen Ian Gary in those Waters sha cut I don’t even know if he has a motion all right he bleeding he won’t he he probably he might not even feel it so um yeah give me shat because of that because when they go into the deep Waters I know for a fact he’s gonna squ he’s gonna swim shaa will swim Ian Gary he gonna be like yo where my Scooby gear at you know like he’s he’s not gonna be prepared to swim in those Waters Toronto fans the the the positivity has has been um um has been exploding because we are so jazzed to be part of the WNBA so that tip off happens I believe in 2026 the brand is here the push is going to be made uh there will be sellouts there’s no doubt in my mind uh also the pwhl if you guys have been paying attention which is the professional women’s hockey League um Toronto has is one in one right now they got another game tomorrow which I have tickets for um so women’s sports as per usual and I hope it continues has been thriving and I hope it just keeps going as much as possible so that is what’s what’s been missed for me so I want to make sure to impart that wisdom on you kids anything from you Jean or Woody either of you can go first um it looks like a Halo behind me it does it does and also I smell Pizza somewhere in this building so as soon as we log off I gota go find it it’s not at all what I was asking for great [Music] Woody um you know Johnny Boy brought up how the original bloodline beat the new bloodline uh for any of the WWE fans out there um I’m not gonna lie they have been cooking they have been cooking um with that bloodline Roman Reigns versus his cousin solo seoa pretty much they all cousins um so it’s just you know a whole bunch of family feuding you know the the Usos feuding with their little brother and all that type of stuff uh they doing some fantastic stuff but even outside of that storyline they got a lot of great things happening in in WWE right now uh Drew McIntyre just came back CM Punk is doing some things so um it’s a great time great time to to be a a pro wrestling fan to say the least and you know what I will piggyback that because I just found out that if you are a WWE Fan you are now living in the Glory Days the Hey Day the golden age if you will because they are bringing back Saturday night’s Main Event it returns to NBC December 14 so make sure you check that out I will be Jesse venturo will be announcing which is also wild to think of so he’ll be back uh I believe they’re going to do four of these per year that’s kind of that’s what the the idea is for now and if anybody remembers back in the day I’m going to say it I don’t even care but the w WF days with Saturday night main event that was such a big deal not only in my household but in my best friends we’d always hang out try and stay up as late as possible because it was like 11 o’clock Eastern we try we try and watch out as kids so once I heard about that I was so stoked and they’re also bringing it back to Long Island which is where it all started that is December 14 check it out NBC Saturday night’s main event it is back you might have your boy back I might be back in wrestling I might be back that’s all I need hey this has been the
