e hello everybody hopefully you can hear us uh we are of course at the horor the team news has just dropped nor City have announced there starting 11 for this game against West braw uh the team is as follows we’ll bring it to you straight away Angus gun in goal Jack Stacy at right back sh chane Duffy and Callum Doyle are the central defensive pair called over missing through injury which will get into in just a moment Jacob senson is at left back Kellen Fisher moves into Midfield to play alongside Mar Condes and slamman foron out on the wing with SS the other side and see at through the middle um obviously the bench is long Hanley Hills K Gordon smau Gibbs Hernandez and fash py I mean I suppose the notable changes there no C over um gun back in so there’s a few positives but that c over news is a massive play yeah and and right at this start we haven’t obviously confirmed what the injury is what the issue is there but sufficiently I mean he had trying to think back now what was the issue he’s been managing aside of the international breaks not this one the previous break he didn’t go away with he did go away with pan but didn’t play did he think that was the back of his knee now it’s just come back to me he did it in the leads game whether it’s that or it’s something else we’ll obviously get full confirmation in due course um but certainly you and Sam were down there speak to yanes on Thursday there was no indication there was an issue with Jose so whether that’s subsequently in in the training sessions that followed the reality is he’s not involved today there’s no bars involved today either maybe they deemed that to be a step too far at this stage of his recovery again we’ll get a status check from Johannes after the game but uh sadly that is more of the same in terms of shuffling around the pieces and hopefully Hing they come together as it was against Bristal as it was to an extent against cheffield Wednesday and that’s disappointing because it felt like johann’s messaging was they would maybe turn the corner a little bit in terms of available options well for the greatest effect if you’re putting senson into your back four well what gr Hy thinks of that sitting out again having gone away and played for Scotland probably only he would be a to tell us but uh and then Fisher sh in Midfield quite like that in terms of it allowed a bit of energy and a bit of dynamism bit of physicality which I think they lacked with the three in they went in there with against Bristol absolutely forcing in an attacking three cach hasn’t convinced for me down the middle yet he gets another go you know after marz was tried so again it feels a little bit like throwing the pieces up and hopefully some of them land in the right places but you know when you haven’t got available players in key positions then you have to be creative and that lineup certainly feels quite creative in fact I see nor is head of comps I might just go have a quick word with him while um Barn’s just probably a little bit too soon at this stage now interesting like if you look at the team graphic the way the club put it out it’s suggested senson in defense and Fisher in Midfield that isn’t the case I’m led to believe it is Fisher in the fullback area so he’ll be left hand side with k with Jack Stacy on the right and it’s s big build so everything I said about isn’t it good to see Fisher in there and a bit of extra dynamism screw on that and but it confirm that it is actually senson in the Midfield three yeah I suppose obiously the Intriguing elements maybe this team news forson is maybe the one that I look at in terms of that rightwing position I mean anyone that watched the club’s training video would have seen there was quite a few drills where it was clear that for was ripping balls across so to me that was maybe an indication of where johann’s thoughts was the fact obviously you look at that sort of relative poor Cameo maybe he’s head off the bench in recent weeks I mean what do you want to see from him today in that slightly different position and maybe how do you think that’s going to work moving forward yeah well I mean I mean he has been tried in that more Progressive area but I’m struggling to think you know when he when he’s gone in there and looked kind of he’s natural in position i’ got I think back to schwar out at swansee if you remember after the first internal break they played swow in that position that right hand side where Ane cernach has been for the majority and he just it just looked the areas he the positions on the pitch he’s taken we didn’t come natural to him and I don’t think it is because he’s more of a boxto boox central option which is probably why he’s back in the Midfield three today I’m not not seeing anything from forson that he could go do that role but you know I guess given the lack of availability it’s probably needs must I mean fashn does he not coming to that is it too soon to start on L you know these must have be the the the thoughts that yannes and Glenn and Jack Wilshire have debated in the last day or two and decided that you know as you said there it’s clearly been planned if forson has been pictured in training footage in in that area of the field putting balls into the box but awful lot of heavy lifting have to be done by B SS for me and not attacking free today you know with SS with s actually getting tried down the middle um I mean the can is just asked if he can run through that lineup again so I mean this is the lineup and this is how we think they line up gun Stacy on the right doy and do in the middle of the Park Central defensive wise with Kell fiser switched to the left Midfield three senson marz slamman so senson is the base you would think mares and slman either side and then the attacking three foren cach signs so yeah great opportunity for M foron though you know he’s he’s clearly not trained on from when he first came came into the club and and he looked quite bright he looked like he was really ready to add something that hasn’t happened subsequently but a door has open for him today let’s see what he’s all about let’s hope he’s got the sort of character they’re okay this is my opportunity today I’m going to show you what I’m about and and I want to be in this 11 now moving forward and if he gives Janis a nice problem moving forward then that could be the great dividend of today’s game irrespective result um it is time for some of these Fringe players if you want to call them that to really step forward because let’s be honest results of performances the three games prior to this intern bre that’s just ended they weren’t good enough and those under studies if you want to label them that didn’t really put their best put forward so again today as quite a few in that 11 who’ve got opportunity to do that yeah I mean there’s a few people bringing it up and I’m TR to get your take on this Ben C of course on the bench again today a natural left back young England youth International they brought in obviously in the summer there’s a few people mentioning him Jeff saying should have been given a chance in my opinion I mean there was a piece we had out during the week I think it was one of the recent press conferences uh the question was posed around because and talk maybe spoke around confidence and obviously maybe that not being quite the levels where he could feature but given today and the fact that there’s no c overa d switching back into that left Center back position Ben CR is a natural left back the fact that Kell Fischer has maybe been chosen who’s not naturally a left back I know he’s played there you know at different points during preseason even his nor City career today but what would your sort of thoughts be for Ben CR that must be a bit of a knock for him confidence wise he’s not been selected today Yeah well yeah but I mean f him in the gr Hanley bracket a gr Hanley being a far more experienced player I’d love to get his thoughts on you know even in a backline that it needs to accommodate Fisher and stay seed there’s no opportunity for him with no Cordova um but yeah I can see I can see that on Cen is it just one more experimental element too many in terms of the overall makeup of this 11 today I think if you just separate out and is Ben ceni do a shot at left back he probably is I think yeah because I thought the last few cameos he has he has come on and try to inject something into to the game so but maybe just in the overall you know situation they find themselves in today it maybe it’s just maybe they’ve heard on the side of well saon is probably that dependable figure and and Fisher more to the point in terms of left backs um yeah so I mean let’s be honest if if it comes down to a choice between Kell fer and Bank ceni even if you’d say maybe Ben Cen off the two is the more natural left-sided Defender I think most would probably opt for if that was the choice and that clearly is the choice today you probably you come down on the side of kill and Fisher when whether whether you could have took s and out pres into the left hand side of defense and push Fisher into Midfield but as I say again it’s like as at this gun which is a welome posit comes out and salutes the traveling support already in the ground in right to see imp back um maybe it’s just you know senson is is deemed to be a bit more of a reliable option and of course we know that title winning season if you want to be uncharitable his best displays in an orang shirt probably come in a left back position so like maybe he could draw on that again today to get him through but yeah I’m just I’m just disappointed that you know we felt hopefully selection wise in terms of the Personnel available you could have felt today was a turning of the corner that 11 isn’t a turning of the corner it’s more of the same we just hope the performances isn’t what we got prior to the international break and with players like gun on the park you hope that isn’t the case yeah I mean obviously that bench does look a little bit stronger today the fact o Hernandez is back on there Liam Gibs in terms of energy I mean you looked kind of in the recent games away at Sheffield Wednesday and even the last time out against Bristol City at home I mean you kind of looked down the bench and it was a bit Limited in terms of options from an attacking sense to bring on where nor to chasing the game they’ve not really got anyone to bring on to try and turn it around today obiously onl in terms of pace and stretching in behind could obious be a useful tool I mentioned there the energy of Liam gives that must be a sort of f boost for yannes that he’s got those attacking options again on the bench yeah I mean there’s no doubt I mean I was trying to think as you were talking there Adam I mean and it’s no disrespect they’re just very very raw players we have like bovo on there didn’t we one or two of them really younger players and I look down that bench today and yeah that’s far more of a first team sort of option in terms of the bench question marks clearly about how long a Gibbs or Hernandez could give you after being out for so long F’s not back that long um doesn’t seem like he fancies Kate Gordon if if we look at you know he got hooked up Wednesday and don’t think we’ve talked about but Brad Hill’s back on the bench today you know he’s had his lower back issues hasn’t he missed a good chunk of games what happens to him in January maybe he needs to go out and play some football but good to see him back in there and um yeah I mean there are attacking options there if you Gordon schwow Hernandez bash to a degree so that is a step forward but it’s above that it’s the 11 it’s hard to escape the fact that a force and S ser that’s three will that give them what they need in the final third unless B delves into his box of magic tricks and produces something again today but yeah I like slani and Mar compz I think they’ve shown enough they they’re capable Championship performers um and with s in in there and again he’s had another two weeks to train on hasn’t he you know we forget but he got pitched in at the deep end there before that last International break shouldn’t really been playing the amount of minutes he had to play that week of three games so he’s had another two weeks you hope that he comes on in terms of his physical output and his performance levels so that Midfield has a reasonably solid look to it for me the concern is just the four3 will they be able to create it enough today yeah bring you that West Brom team now as well they line up like this Palmer in goal furong Colgate heum and styles are the back four malumi and mo at the Midfield to Tom fellows is a pretty dangerous young Talent they have here Mikey Johnston who of course arrived on the scene on L from Celtic last year now a permanent player here not quite captured that form maybe that he had in the last of stes last season but certainly a dangerous player Carlon Grant in the 10 and then they’ve got the second top goal scorer in the championship Josh mger up front of course chasing B Signs in terms of that one their bench is as follows wild Smith fot rakit diarte Wallace Whitwell Dobbin Swift of course had a pretty good game actually here at the hords last year against Norwich and Devante Cole um plenty of Championship experience in there lots of dangerous players some pretty young players as well I mean if you talk about the hor ons and West Brom they’ve had four nil nil draws here only scored twice conceded one in seven games two one nil wins one one nil defeat so goals has not really been something that we’ve seen here but looking at that team Paddy they’re still a very strong team you look at their points all I know if you maybe looked at their form more generally they’ve only won one in nine but then if you stretch it out over the whole season 25 points fif in the table they’re clearly a pretty good outfit at this level yeah and they’ve been there there about some the cor bran in the last few seasons so they’re building something that clearly um he’s highly rated you know very good Progressive coach I mean we watched them the only really reference point I’ve got is with the Cardiff away game where we were at our base on that Friday night and they were on the sky game against Luton which was an instantly forgettable Affair but that probably underlines those stats that even they don’t reach the heights but they’re just a very compact well- drilled side and they can grind out a lot of championship results back to back and if you do that in this leue that consistency you probably find yourself in and around the playoff conversation certainly and uh but that I mean that’s a killer stat for me two goals here at H all season and they’ve got player who’s nearly in double figures in Josh maer something’s not quite right there and that gives me a bit of optimism that norch could come in and get result because they’re not a team who are used to putting sides away here at the off hopefully we haven’t T Tau that one up but uh but some of the names yeah I mean allgate at this level I think he’s he’s a very good player and malumo and mauet you know they’re decent midfielders and as I say you know Mikey Johnson he came here and had a big impact on own last season didn’t he and he was linked with orang so he’s got something about him as well you would see him um but you know I think the fact that they’re not a team those results that that stats base would tell you they don’t blow teams away so you you probably come into this game even with the isues nor have got Personnel wise and Phil if you’re solid if you’re compact if you stay in the game there’s a chance here for you to get some points today and I certainly still feel that’s the case even allowing for that 11 that we’ve seen dropped from norch so we going to go predictions wise mate uh we will go some predictions just shortly before we do do that just about that way in 2500 norx fans have made this trip I mean that’s some effort isn’t it on a Saturday afternoon I know it’s in terms of Norwich still a relatively lesser Journey maybe I mean it’s still three hours away and we obviously satting some traffic on the way here but that’s you know given obviously the recent form as well and the the issues that nor have had I mean you know that’s that’s some effort yeah and johanes was asked that was Me by Sam on Thursday and and I liked his answer that you know even allowing for that really turbulent period before the last International break his sense when he has the onet to ones I mean him and Glenn had the the fan social touch Point recently and you know he’s getting a good vibe that that they’re buying in that they can see the longer term Trends are positive and healthy and that what this club are trying to do now whether it’s Ben Napper and his work or it’s Johannes and Glenn and Jack wilcher and their team um it is a more mid to longer term Outlook and and I think I think there was a nice phrase he used Thursday where it was almost like there’s been a bit of wind in their face but it’s not you know let’s keep it in proportion you know it isn’t that the whole season’s gone down the pan yet you know prior to that spell when they had their key players available they were more than a match you know I’ll go back to the Sheffield United game at KY Ro leads at car Road U going to Derby and being the first team to win there for a long period of time they looked like they could they could match most most of the better sides in this division so for me it’s just get the mle back anguses back today get mlan back get Nunes back keep them healthy and let’s see where they are when we sort of have this start of today is is a very congested spell up to it including Christmas there’s no doubt if noris could keep the majority of their better players and Sergeant obviously the W get him back they can still go on and and realistically compete for for the top six top eight for me so and I think most of those fans can probably see that they’ve probably seen enough circumstantial evidence that there’s something here it’s not perfect there’s a long way to go yet it’s been shown maybe beneath the first team regular key players there is a gap uh and they’ll have to address that moving forward and window Windows to come or developing their younger players but yeah I think we we were trying to work out I think there only Darby away that’s had a big old away following this season that tells you you know even allowing for results being not where anybody wanted to be before the last break maybe those fans feel a bit more of a connection to Johannes and this group of players that they did to David Marner and his players so you just hope when you turn out in those numbers they get something on the pitch today that is better than Sheffield is better than Bristol is better than the last three or four minutes kind of um because you know that support deserves that really yeah go down to the score prediction there’s a few people already in here giving us predictions ncfc one going for a 2-1 nor City win Donathan Hall two-nil defeat sadly Shany going for a one- nil Norwich win another two1 Norwich win here from ole I’ve seen a few nil Nils in here as well Jules going for a nil nil Dan going for a nil nil uh D May supp mentioning the kind of the goal that we maybe mentioned blame you it’s you come up I come up I did come up with it jeffman said I missed his feeling one nil deflected C that goal to do it the death I mean Jeff 55 which of course will be in reference to to that and Neil going for a one-nil nor City win keep it level to the last 10 on our winner uh there you go I mean Patty how are you feeling I mean we have to done a little bit of a WhatsApp preview on the way up I know what you went for have you of changed your mind based off the the team used this dropped or or sticking with sitting on the fence well you know Fisher going into that back four and there an argument we not got into it but you know the comments he made about Doyle and and maybe he’s just been carrying something and but I think he’s probably better as a center back I mean obviously I know him from from his time at commentary and he speak to a lot of commentary fans and they felt he was a better Center back than a left back and I think now we’ve probably seen that he does have some limitations in those left back areas when he’s isolated and maybe his lack of pace catches him out so Fisher going in and door slipping inside I’m I’m not dly unhappy with that as a back four it just comes back down to me to the front three you know science yes goes without saying but will force and will’ll soon that step up that’ll probably all the key to this result for me so I’m goingon to Ally to the West Brom difficulties in front the goal here I’m GNA stay with what my prediction was on the WhatsApp channel one one yeah I said one nil Norwich yesterday on the previous show I said one nil norch on the the WhatsApp video I’m going to stick with that one nil norch on L Off the Bench going to steal almost steal Neil’s uh sort of thought of thought train I suppose in terms of the way this game goes I mean he’s not scored a championship goal on L since what two seasons ago now so feels like he’s due one um and maybe his form for Cuba in terms of that great goalie scor during the week which I think’s been shared on socials hope you can carry that confidence into this game uh few late comments champ house we it’s pretty bleak it’s kind of stopped raining a little bit in comparison to what he had on on the way up but um yeah still not not particularly sunny as you would maybe expect this time of the year Neil saying no injuries in the pinkin team today paty has the hamstring I mean Connor is off I suppose you could say International duties in London today so he’s not here but I’m sure he’ll be tuned in hoping for nor City win Oneil gr Andy winner from otbc Kevin for a two1
