having more people tune in so you know earlier today us Kikuchi uh signed a deal with the Los Angeles Angels all right uh so his his contract was worth uh it’s about to be I believe it’s going to be 21 million a year if I’m not mistaken um just trying to yeah so he signed a $63 million deal worth at at three years with the um with Los Angeles Angels you know the angels are slowly making some moves they’re quietly making some moves um they’ve been they’re they’re trying to you know build a team right um I don’t know how effective they’re going to be um next season but for all we know they could surprise us in the AL West all right and um you know we kind of we kind of saw that for you know we kind of saw that for um you know for the Royals last year right when they were quietly making moves and I had a feeling that the Royals were going to be um a really good team and they were and the angels could very well surprise us um next next year you know going into 2025 so good good for them you know they’re trying they’re trying to get something going they’re they’re they’re making some things happen so they’ve been really the only team that has um done anything really in terms of acquiring players now there was that one trade between the Cincinnati Reds and the Kansas City Royals where the Kansas City Royals ended up uh trading for Jonathan India so that’s going to solidify their infield so they got a good player in Jonathan India and you know they did send one of their good pitchers Brady singer over to the Cincinnati Reds so it’s a nice it was a good um it was a good trade between both teams I mean both teams had their needs and um you know the Royals right once again you know making a making a nice trade and uh making their team better so watch out for the Royals folks I mean they could they could very you know they’re going to be contenders going into next season um no doubt and um I don’t be surprised if they were to finish in first place in the AL Central so um again Royals building a good team the Angels slowly you know making making some moves as well uh there’s been some Buzz as far as um you know the Philly is reportedly having uh some trade talks with the Chicago White Socks uh involving Garrick crochet um Alec bow just and Outfield Prospect Justin Crawford that’s according to Bob Nightingale um of course you know when it comes to Bob Nightingale um I kind of take what he says with a grain of salt um you know just like a lot of these uh reports that are coming out about um about players and who about players signing with which team or what team are favorites to sign because over the last few weeks it’s been you know shoved down our throats with Juan stto you know going he’s going to go to the Mets and the Mets are the clear favorites and I keep saying the Mets are the Mets are definitely um one of one of the favorites I’m goingon to say they’re one of the favorites them and the Yankees they’re going to be the they’re going to be contending with each other right um all these reports that are coming out about uh stto you know going to the Mets and and Executives around Major League Baseball saying that stto is going to the Mets I mean I I just think that this is um you know that uh I think it’s just Scott Boris telling these guys to um you know put the reports out there just to create some buzz and you know to try and drive the price up I mean this is what Scott Boris does I mean he’s he’s a um yeah he’s a good he’s a good uh he’s a a he’s an LLB agent a very good one although last year he didn’t really have a successful um off season just because he um just kind you know was uh him and his clients were you know playing the waiting game and um kind of shot themselves in the foot and I mean look he got fired by Jordan Montgomery you know so um just saying just saying you know we we truly don’t know what wotto is going to do maybe wano knows where he’s going to sign maybe he knows where he wants to go uh the the dollar needs to be right the the um the number of years needs to be right there’s been a lot of different reports of like 14 15 years you know 12 or 13 years now you know if he’s saying 14 or 15 years I get it you know he’s 26 you know probably wants to play till he’s about 40 wants to make sure that he’s um securing his future hey I get it I understand I understand so we got a few other folks that came into the chat we got Mike Rocky in the chat what’s up he says Mets heavy favorites Soo going to be tough to top Cohen hey you know I’m not going to Cohen’s loaded no doubt but um I think how is I think H Stein runer is ready and then Jake Boss what’s up man he’s saying it’s it’d be nice if the Yankees made a good trade signed to signed just to let Soto know we have additional improvements coming yeah and hopefully the the Yankees have something in place and yeah Yankees sports live show what is up yeah more of that Mets crap yeah I know man it’s like you know you hear you hear all this you’re hear you’re hearing all this stuff and you know again we we don’t know right we don’t know Michael K for example last week he put out a report saying that uh you know that the that Steve Cohen was going to pay um you know $50 million over whatever other team’s offer but you know Steve Cohen himself didn’t come out and say that we don’t know and there was a 600 $60 million offer for um for for Wan sto that was made which you know nobody was really corroborating that there was no none of the beat Riders were corroborating that I just think that um you know they’re just trying to again like like every offseason they’re they’re constantly just trying to um shove things out down our throat shove things in our faces to believe a lot of clickbait there’s so much of that going on um you know there there’s not I don’t want to say there’s a clearcut favorite but the two top the two contending teams um for for Juan stto I’m I’m gonna keep saying it it’s going to be it’s gonna be the Yankees and the Mets and is the price going to be driven up probably you know you’re gonna you’re gonna pay a premium you’re gonna pay you’re G to be you know paying top dollar for um you know for for a guy like for a guy like uh want so so whoever signing signning signs him they’re going to be uh pay paying a lot of money now I you know I just hope that um for the Yankees sake right they are working on something right they’re they’re they’re make they’re hopefully they’re making some moves or they they have some plans in place um again the winter meetings are in two weeks so I I would hope I would hope that they would make some moves uh you know in addition to juano also to show Juan sto hey look at look at look at the player look at the Players we’re signing look at look at who we’re getting look at who we have added and um you know I I think um I I I I think I I I think the Yan I mean the Yankees do have needs I don’t think they have a massive problem there are a few issues right that you know I I keep asking like who’s going to be the leadoff hitter for the Yankees come next season um who’s going to be playing second base because we all know glaver Torres is not getting brought back um is you know sounds like you know Json Dominguez is going to be playing a role for for the Yankees I’m I’m saying he’s gonna be the starting left fielder uh going into next season uh you know do they move over do they move uh do they move uh you know Jazz Chism over to second base and leave him at leave him at third I mean really I mean we don’t know there’s a there’s a there’s a there’s a lot of questions right there’s a lot of questions concerning uh the Yankees and we got MC miles and William the seeo in the building too what’s going on there guys and let’s see Cohen Cohen has nothing on Yankees how will match with endless and yeah exactly I mean how how is he made it clear that he’s he wants to bring Wan sto back you know he wants to bring Wan sto back and he’s going to do everything in his power to bring him back I mean there’s no there’s no doubt about it I mean keep saying it over and over again they didn’t just sign wanto just sign once or they didn’t trade for Juan sto just to trade for Juan stto I mean yes we all knew yes we all knew he was going to test free agency we all knew that but there was you know there was no doubt that he um was going to test the market and it is his right to do so and uh yeah stto is a cash cow Bonanza for Hal I mean if he if he sign if Hal is able to stay or or sign Juan stto the Yankees are able to sign him he’s goingon to bring in so he’s going to bring in a lot of money for the organization those the stadium is always going to be packed you know and that’s a good look for the boss right that’s what the boss wants that’s what the that’s that’s what the um that’s that’s what the uh baseball owners want they want to put butts and seats they want fans at the stadium right they want to be selling you know they want to be selling Wan stto merchandise they want to be selling chicken buckets uh will they match offers to soo well teams are going to be making offers to stto this week I don’t know if those uh if that information is going to be made public um but they’re going to be making offers to stto this week what’s up Dev how’s it going there bud so if he stays we’ll be a legend oh he’ll definitely be in Monument Park yeah as long as he continues playing well he’s definitely gonna be in Monument Park and he’ll be a Hall of Famer too yeah judge of course wants him back yeah Aaron judge absolutely wants ju Soto back why wouldn’t he um you know he’ll he’ll he’ll you know Soto was a was a big addition to the New York Yankees he was a good he was a good on two punch with Aaron judge so there’s no doubt that Aaron judge wants him back you know hey what’s up David Elias and he’s saying I’m not sure I can follow the Yankees next season if Cashman can’t land Soto the only Advantage Cashman has that Cohen is a terrible recruiter uh Cohen can’t land big talent but every dog has his day yeah this is true man this is true um you know there was a re well there was a reason why Cashman was involved in these in in this meeting or not not Cashman but Hal steinbrener was um in involved in these meetings right I mean um Hal Hal knows what’s at stake Hal knows um what’s up I I feel like I feel like um that uh the George steinbrener was um was speaking to him you know the George steinbrener and him was coming out saying you know we’re gonna we’re gonna do we’re gonna do we’re gonna sign this guy back and we’re going to make improvements to our team so I know Stein brener has made a mention of you know we’re not we’re trying to stay under the the luxury tax you know because it’s not feasible it’s not sustainable to be over the luxury tax year in year out which he’s right he’s not wrong but um you know but I you know that could that could change he could he could very well blow blow it away and just be like you know what this year I’m I’m going all in so you know we’ll we’ll we’ll see you miss having chicken F buckets at Yankee St I feel you man hope well 2025 man not too far off you know we’re almost at the end of November before you know it uh Major League uh baseball season will be back in session um late March right so you know just a little Garrick crochet the Phillies are also interested in Alex bregman and Willie damus so um if they trade Alec B which they have Alec B available in a in a trade uh along with Nick castanos uh so they they could very well sign a guy like Willie adamus or Alex bregman uh if they could trade um Alec bone so um there is some news about that and also so the Blue Jays I believe are interested in signing in or interested in um uh San there so yeah again a lot of a lot of a lot of baseball a lot of baseball news coming out now and I think it’s just going to continue um heating up so stay tuned folks did they they didn’t they they didn’t make a mention of it they they they said nothing about Nest corz so at this point I mean neest Cortez is still a Yankee but they didn’t they there was also not um any deal with Nester Cortez but you know I feel like with him and Marcus strowman those are two guys that I feel like that need to get traded and hopefully you can you can um get something of of value back um but you know we we’ll see but they should look into starting pitching though uh they do need to get a starting pitcher whether that’s through free agency or through a trade um I would I would absolutely you know if I’m the Yankees I I want to I want to get a starting pitcher no doubt about it who else we got in the chat yeah always bro I’m always gonna shout you out so no matter what and I k for a guy like Kikuchi it’s a bit of an O it’s a bit of an overpay but um you know these unfortunately it’s it’s gonna happen um it’s gonna you know so um it’s it’s a little it’s it’s a it’s a little it’s a little much um I think for for a guy like him but you know pitching is going to come at a premium and you’re you’re going to you’re going to overpay a little bit you know it it it’s just a name it’s just the name of the game it’s it’s just how it is in this market you know uh nasty nesters hurt didn’t have OPP uh he did have surgery last SE last year he had surgery um there was no talkx of it happening for you know for for right now I didn’t hear I didn’t hear anything now he was he was out for a little while during the regular season but then he did he he was he did come back he was added to the to the to the World Series roster so yeah exactly pass on Tanaka um definitely pass on Tanaka so yeah I I like Tanaka yeah exactly I liked them but why you know why are we why are we gonna get him back why would the Yankees want him back um that’s that’s what I’m wondering uh Yankees are looking at Walker ber yeah apparent you know reportedly there were there were some reports uh allegedly there’s um interest between Walker buer and um and the New York Yankees I wouldn’t mind Walker buer you know um he’d be he’d be a solid he could be a solid number four guy in the in the in the rotation my concern with beer is his injuries though although he he pitched well against the Yankees uh what was that in in in game in game two game three pitched well against against the Yankees and then he closed out game five I mean you know he could he could he could be a he he’s a better he’s a better option than I think than um guys than a guy like strowman and strowman or Cortez and that’s not that’s not any disrespect yeah just gotta just gotta be just gotta get something good back hopefully for him so I’m reading that the Dodgers plants sign uh Walker they could there was don’t know though Ken 14 for 650 yeah that’s still yeah it’s you know 14 that’s still 46 million so yeah I mean it’s still still still a lot of money but yeah the bidding the bidding was definitely going to start at like 500 you know I’ve said it from day one and I’m sticking with it 62 25 to 6 to 630 for 14 years uh 13 14 years 13 years is an option with with three options I don’t know if there’s gonna be three options Joe I could see two options I could see two options one after the the fifth and then maybe one after the ninth or 10th year potentially so that that that’s something I’m I’m I’m envisioning myself but yeah 625 so yeah so he’s probably going to be between that 45 to to 47 million um I know initially I said 600 for 12 but it’s probably not going to be the case I don’t think it’s going to get to 50 million no there never was an official word on NE Cortez there was there was a report that came out saying that nest corz and Jose trino were non tendered but the Yankees themselves haven’t said anything the the only thing the Yankees did they they um non-tendered Tim Mesa and then they signed uh they avoided arbitration with for with um Trent Grisham and JT Brew breaker so yeah no doubt bro no doubt yeah the options I it’s I don’t like I said I don’t think it’s gonna it’s going to be three options I think they’re going I think they’re going to go to bidding starter at 440 with the N well I mean yeah 440 and he turned that down so you know the you know the bidding is going to start at 500 it’s G to definitely start at 500 it’s going to go up from there so he played you know I think he was better there was still some improvements that needed to be made and I’m hoping 2025 he comes out looking a lot better than 2024 um look good in the playoffs I’ll give just you know they played him there and he just was not performing well you know so just was not performing well so you got to leave him at the bottom of the order I mean I yeah you could potentially try Json Dominguez you could potentially try Caleb Durban but I don’t know if I want I don’t know if I’d be if I would personally be comfortable with with doing that yet I mean for for two Rook for a first base is really important so that’s definitely a position that they have to address and then you know the big question is you know do they move Caleb der or not Caleb Durban JZ Chisum Junior over to second or do they leave him at third I wouldn’t I mean I wouldn’t be surprised if they left him at third and have Durban at second so there’s only one way to find out if Durban can do the job and Dominguez let them battle for the job and spring training for the leadoff spot you mean because they play two different positions there chat I don’t know I don’t know if you if you were um talking about for the leadoff spot in that trade the Yankees would get Donovan and Gilbert but it would cost Jazz and a few top tier prospects yeah I mean I wouldn’t necessarily be heartbroken if jacot traded
