Tennessee playing in Nashville going to Vanderbilt and Vandy currently a 10 and a half Point home dog here total of 48 and A2 and typically typically I would be all over Diego Pavia as a double- digigit dog I know that when you start looking back at games like Tennessee going to Arkansas Etc they found ways to slow down that Tennessee offense the problem is I think that Vanderbilt does not have the depth and they are dinged up they certainly played their hearts out last week against LSU I think Tennessee is a a little bit of a different Beast they need some style points they’re feeling good about the playoff right now I don’t think there’s a ton of pressure but this is not the kind of spot I mean we we saw what South Carolina did to Vanderbilt in Nashville just a few weeks ago it’s 28 to7 uh that defensive line certainly got after that bunch I think look look at this I feel like I’m leaning Tennessee uh Tennessee I’ve got him favored by 16 based on the last four weeks of stats I’ve got Tennessee by 21 and that is because Vanderbilt has not played all that well as of late they certain they did cover at LSU last week but the LSU is just a shell of itself right now uh Vandy number 94 in PPA margin Tennessee number 18 uh Vandy number 109 in defensive PPA allowed per Drive Tennessee’s defense is number seven and and what you’re really looking at is Havoc rate Tennessee’s Defense number four vy’s offense number 63 at allowing it on the other side this VY defense like obviously Tennessee is going to run the ball and if you look at it I mean it makes all the sense in the world they run the ball Tennessee runs the about 56.3 2% of the time that is 29th most in the country but if you were going to get your offense going if you were going to get your passing game going this secondary would be the one to do it against number 116 in PPA allowed per pass number 104 in yards allowed per attempt number 117 in qbr Tennessee hadn’t been terrible at these if you really look at it number 47 number 33 and number 31 in those metrics um and they don’t throw the ball very much so I don’t think I don’t think vy’s going to be able to get after the quarterback very much here I think that this is a this is a big spot for Tennessee so I will take the BS at minus 10 a half on this one thanks for listening to winning cures everything make sure and follow me on Twitter @gary WCE if you want to toss in a question you can email me Gary winning cures everything.com make sure and hit that subscribe button and we’ll see you next time
