good morning good morning good morning good morning just let the room fill up before we make a start welcome Adam welcome David Rigo good morning The Chosen good morning to you welcome thank you for joining we just let the room fill up for a couple minutes and then we will make a start last one Dan appreciate that just grab your coffee grab your toast whatever it is you’re doing on this Sunday morning let a few more join and then we’ll get going well we won’t make wait too much longer don’t want to drag it out with no sound for as long as we need to really but we’ll touch on what happened yesterday obviously this is your Sunday morning postmatch call in show with myself um reacting to the result yesterday a miserable day where M will come from behind to rescue a point late on at the death in the 93rd minute feiz getting his first goal for the club and a bit of an indifferent game the first half thought we was very very poor thought he was one of the worst first half performances we’ve seen in quite a while probably one of the worst we’ve seen since Bristol this season um wasn’t good at all wasn’t much going for us Sunderland with all their changes you full side had a big press pressed us stopped us from playing out M wed us really in that first half and then you know the game was stopped due to two fans falling ill one in the uh Dockers lower and one in Block one in the barry and first the foremost we just want to start by saying we we wish those people well we hope they’re okay you know some things are bigger than football and it was deemed that they were okay and the game could carry on and it did we saw out the last five minutes and a half I don’t really agree with that we had 15 minutes sitting in the dressing room just call halime and and had it on at the end of the game but I guess regulations you have to see out the first half so I’ll get that and then we made changes we made changes at half time he went 44 4 two B Tom Bradshaw on and we started to impose ourself on the game we imposed our will we was on the Forefront attacking we was getting some width which we didn’t have in that first half we was getting runners in behind and we really started to up the tempo Josh Coburn early on catches Sunderland back line off guard and it’s one from 30 yards almost catching Peterson out but he gets down to save it and then from the cross Bradshaw on the corner he should score three yards out it’s a freeer and he’s a striker got to score and then Tang ganger again long after it he he has a free Eder in the middle of the box and you know again he should score and you just when you think it’s not going to fall for us Harris makes a multitude of changes goes through at the back brings him Maru on brings aiz on brings on um makes a multitude of changes brings langstar on brings Ivanovic on playing with five six attackers up top and it paid dividends um brilliant 30 second passage of play if you can go back and look at it Sunderland break hit us on the counter and they’re oneon-one Yensen makes a real good save and then we break and Maru gets fouled but rather than dwelling on his lows and and calling for the foul he gets straight back up bursts down the wing ball goes into Lang Star One Touch into himself releases it toaru and he’s blistering Pace I mean when he’s on his day you know and he keeps his head there ain’t anyone at the club who’s got his skill set in terms of BCE and power puts a beautiful ball across the back Cuts everybody out out the game and there’s feiz to tap it in for the 93rd minute and and we rescue a point and it’s eight games unbeaten we’ve conceded three in in in eight games it’s one loss in 10 it’s good it’s a good point you have to look it as a good point overall with um pouth and Oxford coming up two games we got to look at to again go and win the game I thought we should have won the game yesterday but on the face of it a game of two halfs Sunderland deserved fully deserved to beat us in that first first half but that shows the resilience at the club the resilience of the players and the coach and staff for us to not give up until that final whistle and we pressed we pressed we pressed we offed and we puffed and ultimately got what we deserved in that second half so I’m going to open it up to the floor I want your thoughts anyone who wants to come in thoughts on Tom Bradshaw coming in again over the likes of Ivanovic and langstaff didn’t really offer much for me Brad Shaw I don’t really see the justification of getting him in that side I really don’t especially when lanar comes on and he’s key to starting that goal with his quick feet to feed imaru in um thoughts on imaru has the bread been broken between him and Aris is is this the sign that they may move forward with each other because you know we’ve seen the skill set Maru can bring he’s he’s dangerous aiz looks better and better every week really changed things when he came on with his width and his skill and his quick feet and his ability to to cross the ball and and get into them good positions Ivanovic come on was pressing really high lots of pace and was causing problems overall lots of good problems for Aris to have but um let’s get your thoughts on that I’ll open it up to the floor but we do have pouth coming up Wednesday big game um we have also lost Jake Cooper which is rumored to be for 10 weeks Harris says um with a ligament damage which he sustained in the first minute apparently against Stoke saw the game out and it it flared up over the international break big loss probably the one position if we’re going to lose someone you don’t want it to be at Center half and with the way coper has been playing at the moment but Dan welcome mate just unmute yourself and uh yeah thoughts mate thoughts on what I’ve just mentioned thoughts on the game how did you see it you pretty much summarized it mate a few things though like obviously aiz I thought should have been on earlier not going to make it like you know what I mean in the group chat I’m not going to make it like a Aris hunt it’s not at all but I think them Subs could have been made a lot easy quicker because you can see Coburn was capping a bit and all I don’t know don’t know what’s happening with him like haris has said but 15 minutes before that he could have come off he was limping about yeah Harris has said he’s got a recess coob and he hasn’t got much info on him yet but he did look injured he it it more to the point it was he took a knock in a collision with a players with with a Sunderland player and he got up and he was right and then he made a run across to the right hand side and he just pulled up and you thinking oh no and he saw it out as long long as he could but no I agree I thought the subs could have been made a bit earlier I don’t think watmore has been doing much recently I don’t think honeyman’s been playing particularly well recently either he’s gone really gone off the boil in in recent in the last month for really hasn’t really done anything um but he brought anim and off he brought um W more off and the game changed mate yeah 100% it was good obviously you know I was down there and I had to B home because I feel rough but um yeah J Brian was getting cooked when he like we said on the group chat I thought Leonard got cooked a little bit which I don’t ever want to hear said but and then I thought here we go they’re going to S they were young team would they you think they’re going to be a spent fall so they’re going to keep it up and I just thought it’ be Leonard and Brian would run out of Team before them but hey ho we got the point yeah I think the first half caugh everyone off guard including Aris because I mean sometimes when a team makes lots of changes and they lose a lot of players it can be a good thing nine times out of 10 it is but then also there isn’t a lot of film to go off to to watch how these Replacements perform how they perform as a team so you know it was a bit of an assessment on the day for haris which you know understandable it’s a completely different team to the one he’s probably researched and and watched and coached our team on um so credit for to haris for making the adjustments in in the second half at half time really could have been more should have been more but ultimately at the end of the day he did make changes he threw the kitchen sink really say changes he he threw on every Striker we had available every attacking player that we had available and you expect it to come to come up trumps when you do that against a team with lot of less experience in the side young team not often like you said not often if at all you say Ryan Leonard got cooked but that first half he was he was well toast would he at one point he was and and Joe Bryan I mean all your FS on Joe Bryan I don’t put out on Twitter I don’t ever want to see that man in the midle shirt again I I really don’t I don’t see what he offers this people keep saying oh he’s in there because of his attacking and his you know and his delivery I don’t see it I don’t ever see it people are looking at the Fulham Joe Bryan and if he was the Fulham Joe Bryan we wouldn’t have him at wall sadly that’s all he he’s ball watching he gets he comes unstuck I lost can’t how many times yesterday Hut covered him I think he had a great game yesterday for someone that ain’t really had minutes brilliant yeah he was he was brilliant and there was Danny I think would have been better than yesterday because heed a big tackle to get one of Danny’s Big tackles that he loves bang that would have got the crowd up for it and not saying just because of Danny but that have added to the atmosphere I feel I just think Danny’s been playing really well I think he’s coming to the side and he’s played he’s played really really good football he’s bottled some of the Best Wingers in the league I mean you look at him against the game against leads he’s fantastic you know and he played a good game against Stoke and I think he made one mistake against o and the internet went mad oh you know Danny makes one Joe Bryan makes these mistakes several so bad he he plays such a high line this is the problem such a high line he just gets roasted all the time he doesn’t commit it’s I just struggle for me personally like open up to the floor um if anyone’s got any thoughts on it you know send a request in but yeah I I just don’t see what he offers but we got a request in from David see a minute yeah come back in whenever done as always but David welcome mate just unmute yourself um your FS mate FS on recovering a good point in the end yeah very good and I mean obviously um second half was was was was great and I enjoyed it um first half I don’t think we created a single chance I can’t think of a single chance that we made it was a bit you know what what what I was really getting sort of annoyed about was he was playing s they were lumping it to cin and coin actually did pretty well I thought he won quite a few fouls he won few headers but no one was playing off him nothing seemed to happen once he’ done that he was so isolated ated I think you know that that I thought was was really was was terrible the end of the I mean Harris Harris apparently said that we were [ __ ] useless in our first in the first half I going agree with him and and he’s absolutely right it was it was it was diabolical second half we come out completely change you know we seem to have a different mindset and and and changed it the other the thing I wanted to mention though was this isue around Cooper and what to do because there’s no way that Hutch is going to play three games in a week I mean that’s going to be I think you know that’s going to be a problem I think I read somewhere someone was suggesting moving Ryan Len to Center back and Danny Mack to right back which I think probably is our best option although as you said Leonard didn’t have a very good game in the first half but I think that’s probably better than bringing in muray Wallace isn’t it oh I ABS I agree with everything you just said there and I’ve been an advocate of moving Lenny inside and putting Danny at right back but you know I I thought Hutchinson was excellent I thought I thought he really was yeah very good he played he played well I think he I mean the real question is over his Fitness because when if we’re playing away it’s likely that we’ll be playing more of that kind of you know defensive mindset rather than going for it and I think at at that you know with that kind of tactic Hutchinson’s fine because he’s not being required to spray the ball about or make make incisive passes but My worry is his Fitness and I think that three games in a week for a 34 year old player like him who’s not played very much football in the last sort of few months I think he’s going to be a real a real struggle so hopefully he’ll bring I don’t I mean I think Murray Wallace is is gone really I I mean you might bring him on for a 10 or 15 minute Cameo but he’s he’s not he’s not really a starter anymore Harding seems to disappeared I don’t know where and and so we’re really left with very little Choice aren’t we yeah and I don’t understand what’s happening with hard him because wild accounts he’s a model player in the dressing room everybody likes him and I know he has had a couple bad games for us but he’s also had some really good games for us he scored some goal game at Watford last year I mean he played really well um scored a good goal I was there that was at vickerage Road he played really well that day um but on the other hand there’s a rick in him isn’t there that’s the problem I think Harris doesn’t trust him that’s the problem think he’s got he’s got he’s got a he’s got a mistake in him in fact some of the ran I know a couple of Ren fans and they said you know he’ll give you a great game and then he’ll he’ll basically not he’ll he just won’t he won’t play you know there’ll be a big big mistake but overall um I’m really pleased for feia ziz as well I think he’s a terrif player I think I know he had a lot of critics at the early stages of his M career but I think he’s a good player very very good player and if give him the confidence I think he can be a really good player for us this season yeah I agree and and you look at the price tag that we paid for him and you know that probably paid a bit of weight on his shoulders definitely did for the fans because you know you pay that sort of money you want to see production didn’t really look at the races in in his early starts but he was only getting like 10minute cameos here and there and that’s not enough to give a player some confidence you know but he’s starting to get a lot more minutes from starting a few games and that goal was coming I called it on the prematch with preview if anybody saw go off I thought I thought it was time he was goingon to Nick one I even said he was going to get two and I thought we’d win the game three nil but it’s been coming he’s been in good positions he’s had the chances and I’m really glad that he got one because I agree with you I think he’s a to watch he he’s a fantastic player he’s his Pace his awareness he he he really is turning into the player that is warranting the priz tag and the player that we thought we were going to get because we went after him for such a long time as well so you started to question what have they scouted what have they looked at because he’s not doing it for us to look at someone for so long but he’s playing dividends now I think he’s also got a good temperament you know you hear him speak I think he’s got a good he’s got a good ethic good work good work rate and that that’s what Harris priz is amongst AB above all else you know in many ways that he’ll fit him to use Harris’s expression with the group I think that makes a big difference um so I’m I’m very pleased and I’m I’m really I hope that he’ll turn into the sort of player that we we we thought we were going to get when we bought him um I thought just one other point on on players not one of Romain sa’s better games yesterday unfortunately you know he picked the wrong option and he gets very frustrated when things are not going right for him but that’s probably a good thing in a way shows he’s dedicated to the cause his tackling back is still very very good for for an attacking player still got very good stats on that but yesterday wasn’t wasn’t one of his better days I think problem was we were chasing the game and I think as with Jed Wallace sometimes when he was with us you know he wants to do it all on his own he takes on that responsibility and he should lay off the ball a bit more but you know what a talent though you know he’s still a great player for us and he can still turn it on but not one of his better days yesterday remain no I agree and and and I feel like he’s been like that for the last couple games um he’s been doing a lot but it’s a bit of the worry with that is is you don’t want to over Coach it and tell him not to do it because it’s what turn made him the player he is it’s what is going to get us the price tag that we’re kind of looking at you know all the clubs are looking him for for that ability so yeah you don’t isn’t he exactly he he won a lot of free kicks on the edge of the box and and and you know overall you know we got to enjoy him while we can you don’t want to stop him from doing that you got to understand what he is and and that’s fair enough but no I agree with everything you said there David appreciate i’ open up the floor again anybody else wants to come on and share your thoughts let us know but Dan thoughts on what David just had to say there all valid points all points I agree with yeah no pretty much spot on mate couldn’t have said it any better than himself say yeah it was got got to give him some slack for his age he’s still learning is he he’s got a lot to learn but he’s still brilliant but yesterday yeah it weren as great B his game cut the times he was through and it was like just play a simple ball and he tried to do a bit of magic come on Stu foul weren’t given ad a Patty David is correct uh you want to get on to your favorite player Jay my favorite I I do want to touch on um before I get on to Tom Bradshaw I just want to talk about Casper dor oh he covered every blade of grass yesterday F he was immense I mean I said in my postmatch I thought he was man in the match he could have give it to you know a couple of couple of them but Casper in recent weeks is sort of doing he’s doing Saville’s job better than savil and this is no disrespect to savil I Love George savil George savil is epitome of a m player and what it takes to play in the new side but Sav sorry Casper is doing all that dirty work the tackles the energy the just is is all around play and then once he breaks it up his first thought is drive forward pick the right pass I thought he was excellent yesterday he he really really was he leads the championship in interceptions and tackles the only player in the championship to do that savil is not far behind as well I think he’s top three so this Midfield Duo is is is really really good and I think when Billy Mitchell comes back into the fold that’s going to only make them better because more competitive for the competitive yeah they’re going to have to out their game because I I love Billy Mitchell as you know and Billy will push him and I’d love to see a Casper and Billy Midfield I think that would be full of energy and you know it gives Sav the right to have a rest because does need it sometimes he’s aging you know but I thought yeah I thought Casper was was excellent Tango was again you know he he was phenomenal he’s just a Rolls-Royce of a Defender absolute Rolls-Royce of a Defender but I want to do I do want to touch on some of the players that get a little bit more justification than they should well this you know I don’t this isn’t negative because this is a good point yesterday and you know this is eight game unbeaten run this is good this is good momentum we’ve got at the moment that was top of the league regardless of their you know the players that they were missing or their form this is top of the league so you know that’s point no one at the top has beat us yet so we know we got to take a sense of Pride and a sense of you know self acclamation with that but yeah I I just some of the subs I mean Harris loves Bradshaw we know he loves Bradshaw he’s a Harris player but I just don’t understand the justification for him getting more minutes than mcoi Ling staff I don’t understand it Lang star did more in five minutes than Brad Shaw’s done in two games and he was heav yday when you come onraed up yeah and you know there was a play where sa’s played him in he’s not trapped the ball and yeah he just didn’t look at it you know he’s missed a sitter and you just think langstar his real first real interaction gets the ball knocked it to him marker and we in and I just don’t see what the justification is personally um that’s obviously something for that we probably won’t know from Aris but Aris seems to enjoy him and then Joel jman Joel jman’s really gone off the ball when we I appreciate what Joel Johan does in that side but we looked such a better attacking team not just because we went four for2 but because George Jan come out the side I think we had him pinned in the second half didn’t we I think the last half our it was just attack attack waser it they were they were flapping yeah I think Hyman needs to be a central midfielder personally obviously he’s never got the goals and assists as a 10 but his High Press hisg second to none and that has been a big part of why we are on this unbeaten run he’s been a big part of that but like Duncan wat more he’s gone off the boil a little bit and when players that don’t offer that much outside of their energy and their press go off the boil they go off the boil in a big way you know other players might like ess’s gone off the boil but he’s relentlessness his skill set his his ability to draw the fouls is still there so you know he’s still justification in him when he is gone off the boil a little bit Coburn and the same you know Tango you know heart all these players they still have their primary skill set in place when they go after the boil but for players like Bradshaw and Honeyman when that is their only skill set to be a pressing Relentless type Trace down player when that goes and you’re playing in them Advanced position positions it goes in a bad way and it affects the team I don’t know if Harris is going to look to change it up drastically on against pouth I personally think he does make a lot of changes I think he ultimately wants to go 442 we he’s now got justification in my opinion to go 442 with how that second half paned out um big test again pouth a banana skin game that we shouldn’t Overlook but yeah I agree the subs probably come should have come a little bit earlier um they they really should have credit to sundland though because they forced it they forced us into it you know that’s a young team really I think they’re the youngest team in the league and they’re sitting top for a reason they traveled well their fans were brilliant um credit to their medical staff as well when our medical staff were dealing with an incident their medical staff was straight on the scene for another you know everyone want to give um Commandments to everyone involved the you know the public service is the medical teams for both clubs both sets of fans being patient and um allowing this to to play out with the thoughts of those involved at the front and not football on a miserable day as well so yeah credit to to all them involved credit to the club and and credit to Sunderland as a whole you know they deserve to be at the top for how they’re playing and they showed that in that first half is probably the best I’ve seen a team play at the den in in the first 45 minutes they outm W us they did what we did to other teams pressed us really high put us on the back foot went at us attacked Ryan Leonard and Joe Bryan they saw the weakness out on the width and and they attacked it I thought sa was a bit hindered and what more hindered in that first half where we couldn’t get them free it wasn’t hitting the channels because we was knocking it about at the back a little bit we looked a bit lost in possession and that is all credit to sundland as it is a negative for us but yeah that second half Rel Miss Cooper yesterday for the corners because how many corners did we have yes yeah Cooper kooper’s going to be a huge Miss and you know I’ve been critical of coopa performances hasn’t been there um up until recently he’s been he’s been fantastic recently but this is a man who has never missed more than three games in his career at Mew he’s played a lot of games he’s resilient you know he’s the the best trait of footballer can have is is availability you know and Cooper’s been that and is going to be a massive massive loss and and a big talking point the fact that he is going to be out for 10 weeks so again everybody if you do want to get your points across lots to talk about players you know teams the incident yesterday Cooper being out where we go this next week just drop a request in come and share your thoughts and and we’ll get to them you ain’t got to stand for very long just drop a little comment in there and and we’ll discuss it but Dan what do you think happens Wednesday then I mean we’re eight games unbeaten we’ve conceded three in that time I do worry about the creativity because although we had all them attackers on it’s still we’ve only scored one goal and it was at the depth it was at the death sorry and that’s you know one nil One n one nil One n one one0 we we’re not scoring bundles we’re not conceding but it just feels like when we do concede one you can’t really see us going to get two or three more you know because we’re not we’re not that type of team at the moment we’re a keep him out first and try him on the counter but as we saw yesterday you know we we ain’t really got that sort of clinical finishing product does that down to the fact that you ain’t got the likes of laying staff on the field and you’re playing Animan in the 10 when you could play someone else Personnel or is it just who we are I don’t think he’ll changed much to be honest because I know you know how we all know how stubborn Aris is I don’t think like because I see an argument this morning on socials people going oh Maru needs to be starting and there’s a load of M wall commenting saying oh here we go 30 seconds of Brilliance now he’s got to get in the team over someone that’s got us in this position but hopefully we get to see at least 45 minutes of a Maru I’d love that yeah I hope that the bread has been broken between him and the Maru now because you know it’s obviously it’s no secret there the kickoff it’s no secret he he was gone he was on his way to Wickham that deal was done if we could assigned the fulam Winger which obviously fell through on Deadline D and Mark stayed at the club he’s B his time you not heard much from him you know and and fair play to him yesterday because there isn’t anybody at the club that has his skill set now I don’t think he’s a skillful player and I don’t think he’s in a a game changer in that sense but I still think we have I think my opinion we’ve hindered his development a little bit with a lack of game time because there’s definitely something in him yeah I T to agree I do agree with that but his pace and his power is just un it just raw in it it’s such a mismatch against Defenders against Wing backs it’s they just can’t handle it we saw it against middles BR um when he fed sa very similar scenario he’s just he pure pace and power is just enough to beat the fullback and his delivery is is spot on that yesterday I’m not having that people online saying oh it was a shot go away that weren’t a shot he knew where he was putting that back Post Yeah it was never a shot he’s he’s CT it with the inside of his boot across the goal W is completely took everyone out the game everyone it’s it’s a fantastic cross cheese cutter yeah and and fair play to him because if you look at that 30 seconds that 30 seconds is literally the game Sunderland a one-on-one with the keeper Jensen makes a good save it’s recovered by Brian who who knocks it out toaru he gets fouled but instead of dwelling on it and calling for a free kick he gets straight back up ball goes into Lan star and he’s running down the wing langstar takes one touch knocks it straight into him it’s a bit behind him it’s a bit behind him off quick put the burners on exactly his Pace he’s beat two men held him off he’s being shoulder at to shoulder for the last sort of 10 15 yards and then that that ball in was just it was Sublime and and a great finish from FEI as well on his weak foot to TU that in the opposite corner at a tight angle great finish from him and I agree what David said he speaks really well he’s clearly got his head screwed on he’s you know he’s he’s playing really good football at the moment and probably Warren over dun on wat more now that’s another Cameo that dun really hasn’t the sun’s gone in I like to say that as well but I think you know he’s just had his family’s just had a new baby you know he’s probably getting sleepless nights and he’s never really been that type of player he’s never been prolific I think even he’d be shocked by the start that he made this season and you know I think we all knew and expected it was going to drop off at some point you know we don’t get me wrong though know credit to him because we wouldn’t be in a position we’re in without his goals early on he was fantastic early on so but yeah I think a time for a change I think aiz has to be the starter now he just has to I think you’ve got questions around the striker Coburn’s clearly the number one for fris if he want to go 442 though who goes with him David I’ll open it up to you Harris clearly wants to go 442 who’s who’s Coburn strike partner and David’s David’s gone I think don’t think he’s there anymore but no I’ll open it up to the room then like I say get your requests in get your comments in and and and we’ll get to them um Chris has got a comment Chris Brown friend of the shows but Harry should have addressed the the center back situation before the season because you can’t rely on Hutch and Wallace so now it’s going to come back and bite us on the ass and I agree Chris I think if there’s one position you cannot afford to lose someone it’s a center back Dan no yeah not 100% but for January’s coming I see I know scan’s not a center back and I’m going off left field here he’s back so the left side could be shed up because I want to see a lot more that scanland because the way Liverpool talking about him as if like he’s God so then we’ve got a little bit yeah it’s just down to Aris how he manages that back line with what we’ve got until we can get to the January window I suppose yeah I think I think we have to look at January as maybe I wouldn’t go and spend big money in January depends what happens with sa whether we spend big money in January but you definitely got to look at probably two Center halfs in my opinion you know you look at the people that are probably going to go out the door maray Wallace Harden I expect Bradshaw to leave there’s a few there’s a few on the on the Cs that are going to leave and positions we’re going to need to fill but Center back is definitely one of them and the one position you know that we’re not blessed in at the moment he’s Center back and teams you know we’ve been quite lucky because this is the time of the season when you get your injuries you know a lot of teams now are picking up a lot of injuries we sort of flipped it on our head because we got all our injuries at the start of the season now we’re starting to get healthy and we was looking in a really good place and then you get that blow where you lose Cooper and it’s and it’s not like you’re losing for a couple games T is out for the Christmas period is out Jan much till January or the back end of and which could really see our season you know make or break yeah make it break if we want the playoffs yeah I know what you’re saying in that sense you know but we’re touch on pul Smith so we got pul Smith in the week down at frat Park a tough place to go will be a great atmosphere they’re not doing too well in the league at the moment their game was postponed so they’ve had a big long time to rest um do you see any changes coming in W Wednesday’s game um like I said I don’t know he might tweak a little bit but if anyone thinks am Maru starting they need their red testing not because I don’t like him but I just don’t think he will he’ll probably get a lot more than he did yesterday but he won’t be starting I think savs in my opinion I might know needed freshness and get some quality in there because if we can get six points out of these games we’re sitting in a real good real good position Watford dropped points you know Sunderland dropped points Drew didn’t they West Brom Drew West Brom I think West Brom scored their first goal at home in in well in in a long time Burnley done us a favor as well beating Bristol City so they couldn’t breach the gap or gain on us yeah so you know teams are doing us favors as well as we’re doing our s favors so you know we just got to keep keep that momentum up and and and try and and build on that and six points this coming these coming days will be will be massive for that because again we go into a busy busy schedule December’s always a horrible month that makes or breaks team seasons and you know if we can come through it which we have done in the past we’ve had good Decembers in the past where we beat big teams you know we did it to Burnley and Norwich down at the den in recent especially with how quick Sunderland were trying to break just did worry me a little bit and and did put a little bit of a lopsided feel to to the game at times but we were Relentless that second half that second half was probably one of the best second halfs I’ve seen us play but without actually creating much because we was getting into good areas but not really bothering the keeper it felt like a win didn’t it that draw felt like a win yeah it really did and that’s really you know people could say oh you know a few sundland fans oh me all celebrate like they won the World Cup well [ __ ] me we’ve won the World Cup three times this season that’s amazing you know get the Stars stitched onto the [ __ ] badge mate you know if you if you’re criticizing fans for celebrating a 93rd minute equalizer then then footballs are on they do the same though they do exactly the same they just bit of lemons in it the old [ __ ] celebration police [ __ ] them football’s a game of emotions and that that was probably the epitome of what football’s about that first half we was diabolical second half we completely turned it around and you you go from this is I mean I remember talking in the group chats that that I’m in saying this is as bad as I’ve seen it no it was it was first half was definitely like Ballers against Muppets and we were the Muppets because it just looked like oh yeah and in the second half sitting there going that was you know that was real good football we knocked it about we we was relent and and you know you can’t keep that up for 90 minutes understandable you ain’t going to play that way for 90 minutes but it was literally kitchen sink and and we did enough ultimately to get something out the game Aris though you got to give Aris credit there because he said he went mental didn’t he or he alluded to it at half time he lost his rag so fair play to him for that he’s got into yeah and I don’t blame him because if there’s one thing you could say about new haris and you know is he would never send a team out play like that in the first half he would never um and he’d never be happy with that that’s one thing that you you can give Aris is that they will never ever go out with that mentality he will always have you mentally ready for a game and they weren’t at it and rightly so Aris was was fuming he was angry he was upset and you know he he got a little bit desperate with the subs because he threw every man and his dog on every attacker and his dog on in that second half but that’s what you got to do when you’re chasing the game and I I enjoyed seeing them changes because long you know for long D well we’ve been in them positions and we make a little change here or there and it’s like what’s why I’d rather lose 3-0 going for it than try and make it playing the same way only sorry to cut y was just a little bit sooner I think they should have been 15 20 minutes that’s the only critique got yesterday yeah I agree with that but it was refreshing to see him actually go for it go for it the back and go we ain’t giving up this game this game ain’t over there’s something in this game for us and like I say I’d rather see us lose 3-0 with by going for it to trying to get back in the game then then lose one nil and and you haven’t you haven’t had a goal or you haven’t made the changes to have a goal so yeah credit to ours for that I mean I was there at Birmingham when I think they slapped us 5 nil and we had about 30 shots about 20 on target I think we hit the bar six or seven times there was literally nothing we could do in that game but we lost the game I think four 3 four five nil and the players got a stand in evation at the end of the game it’s the only time I’ve ever seen that in in the 20 25 years I’ve I’ve been going at the Den I’ve had a season ticket for 20 it’s the only time I’ve ever seen that happen you know because we went for it we did everything in our power to win that game and I think yesterday if we didn’t get the result if we didn’t manage to pull it back and Nick a draw out of it I don’t think there could have been too many arguments about how we played that second half You could argue some of the Personnel you know with um certain players that you know are not prolific getting chances and you know missing sitters you know you you would dwell on them but it was really refreshing to see us actually grab it and go no [ __ ] that we’re going after it because it’s there for us yeah we tried yeah no we done we don’t got the Point didn’t we so just hopefully he can learn from Little errors that happened and then just do pouth yeah and I hope there’s enough now of visualization from Harris to some of the players to now make some changes because fees has to start he has to start Mack has played yeah Danny ma played the last um three games apart from today and we kept two clean sheets and only conceded one I think he got one man in the M West bromy got man in the match I can’t Young can’t the whole weight of the team can he either so yeah but no yeah we’ve got to remember he’s playing International Football as well you know he is playing for the for the England youth setup and you know pressure on he does need a rest at times he does need a rest at times you can’t you know you can’t overplay him and run him into the ground even though he’s young you got to Aris is coaching him pretty well at the moment I think he’s managing him well we are getting the best out of him but the key thing like I said when his performances at the top end of the field drop he’s still delivering at the other he’s still giving everything still helping out still defending and still um giving his commitment and his effort for the team and and that’s that’s all you can answer we we’ll yesterday that Aris would have sort of like you know because all the players straight away went to amaku so they know what’s they know that he’s sort of been well I’m not saying ostracized but they know they know what’s going on I would and Aris did but I would have liked him to have mentioned him and sort of like you know put his arm around him at the end and said look you know we all we all want the same thing you I mean that’s all I want from you you know and now you know I’ll get you know you you’re in you’re in my faults now going forward and you you’ll get minutes I think he did drag him back yesterday Ray because I know you said you only just come on late but he did drag him back because amaru Jay made a point he walked past Aris but Aris pulled him back and give him like Well Done sort of thing right okay was that Aris I weren’t sure from where I was sitting I couldn’t see you know I was looking for that but I see someone he walked past someone and you know fair enough that’s but I just I I yeah I’m I think he’s the only one we’ve got am maku with real like like he showed yesterday who can just put the ball past someone run I mean so like yesterday late in the game when these teams you know everyone slows down towards the sort of like last 20 minutes you know he’s perfect to bring on there and sorry I leads on to the other point really that I think I’m really happy at the minute I think we’ve got we’ve got two left footed Wingers we’ve got two right footed Wingers they’re all different you I mean one can run past people one’s a sort of tricky dribbler what you know what I mean they’re all different we’ve got two big forwards two little forwards W we’ve got four sort of like midfielders that can you know get stuck in run around B the only the only um you know hindrance like weak point is Center off and it and obviously C I did think yesterday you know Cooper’s Cooper but I did think yesterday um he he was missed in the fact of a left footer but I think you know ashington and and Mari Wallace they they you know great players great servants and but really we’ve seen at the start of this season and against orian that they will get ruined in this league do what I mean yeah the big thing for ainson though and for us as a team on the field is that ainson just brings that leadership and you could see that yesterday he was you know I was really surprised I was really shocked at how fit um how and how well Hutchinson played yesterday I thought he was brilliant first half I honestly thought he was brilliant they had a big laps in judgment all of them um for their goal but Hutchinson was the only one that reacted to try and stop that goal um everyone else was dead on their feet including Jeff but ainson was yeah I was really pleased for ainson um he’s a club Captain he’s he’s been a incredible Defender for years ainson he’s been at the club for for a decade and and he’s been a that good for that long as well he’s never been a bad bad Defender for us ainon and you know I I’ll put Aron right up there as you know as in not in the top sort of two or three but one of the best defenders we’ve had at the club he deserves that and he deserves a proper send off when he goes because he he’s been our club Captain for a long time and yesterday he showed that his leadership is is just as important as as what he can do on the pitch and he delivered on the pitch as well crunching tackles was in the right position he may not have the pace or the legs anymore but he’s got the mind he he was the same as John Terry John Terry didn’t have the pace any and I’m not saying he’s John Terry for going out loud don’t get at me in the comments but you know when Good Defenders lose that they make up for it with good read the game look at Maldini legs went read the game not a book exactly the greatest Defender to ever have lived in my opinion but Aron’s very much got that about him he understands G he’s got a good mind a good footballing brain he’s a leader and and and that will set up to be in position to to to make the challenges and and the tackles and jaffi’s got the legs a little bit more to to clear up around him so it ain’t the end of the world it’s a big loss it’s probably the biggest loss we could have especially at the position not just the player but no it is it is um it has been a problem but hopefully strengthen numbers you know if we we mix it about a bit and keep out to Fresh especially this week with two teams we should go and beat you’d look at probably changing up a little bit to to kick the freshness about the squad but no I agree but we’ll start to wrap it up and we’ll touch on what Ricky says lastly to end the show on um do you think we’ll have a clear out in January Brad Shaw Harden Wallace making room for new players on loan or on transfer and so let’s just let’s put some context let’s assume that let’s assume we sell sa right let’s assume sa goes and he don’t even have to assume he goes because you can still spend money in January because we know money’s coming you got the xan Fleming money coming you’re going to obviously lose a lot of players that were going to release your free ups and wages and sa 99.9% probably not going to be here next season definitely in the summer but maybe in January so you can spend money without having it so with the players that we got potentially leaving on a three and the players that we’re probably going to just try and sell or release or gu L do we do anything in the window Raymond I’ll come to you first I personally think we need two Center halfs just to really come out the window we saying I think we’re all right everywhere else I wouldn’t go rushing for a left back or or any other position just yet because you don’t want to panic in January which is what most teams do including us because we’re going to have to make a little bit of a panic move to some extent with a center off but what do you think we do in January he’s muted himself Raymond come to you first and Dan Center R definitely I agree uh Left Flank cuz not left back I think the left Winger to put the cat amongst the pigeons to get a bit of good rivalry and you’re fighting for this position uh uh I don’t know about Center mids yeah because we have got a good mix when they’re all fit but I don’t know like if sa goes like we all know he’s going to go eventually we need someone is a going to step up and be our SAA or do we get someone else in that’s got decent potential or got a big bit of like where we got the money do we go go out and get that peterb guy or someone yeah I think we have to look at some loans as well I mean we we’re going to have to send some players out I think Dan Kelly needs to go out on loan I think you could probably look at Ivanovic might be a candidate to go out on loan Truman’s gonna go because he’s just a as well yeah and Truman credit to Truman and crley they’re raving about him at cwy he he had a welded the other day I mean he put on a fantastic performance um you you know probably look at sending some out on loan maybe Massie Kelly hard Brothers You’ve got quite a lot of players there if we do have a clear out we’ got to replace him yeah but we’re going to have a pretty pretty heavy Kitty to be able to do that depending on how much we do get you know you got Kevin nisbit you got to try and offload as well xan will should get his money sa will get some money for him and you never know what could happen with t genga you know he the teams might come in for him and and we should be bracing ourself for it with with his performances so we will be able to we’ll have the kitty to replace these players but we need to manage it a bit better I think January you don’t want to jump in January and overhaul things because if we’re in this position in January you got to start looking at making a playoff push and you want to keep the comraderie and the togetherness uh together as much as possible without disrupting it too much um but I do think we lose uh Harden Wallace Bradshaw um Hut and um Truman probably Duncan wat more maybe Truman or Roberts maybe Roberts goes and I keep Truman we do lose all them in in the summer What about Brian and Brian Brian goes yeah Brian can go sell him for an old [ __ ] sandwich releas um and then you got to look at you know some of the lone players I mentioned mayor Kelly Massie um maybe Ivanovic you know because I fully expect that with the money that we’ll bring in I think Aris if he if he’s still in charge we we make have play for Coburn I think they’ll make play try and bring permanently if bet Middlesboro are scoring like they are yesterday like I said on X why don’t we have a cheeky bid eh and Chad yeah I I would um I I fly think that we will go in and try and bring Coen here permanently so yeah I think you’d look at getting some loans out um imaru could go I mean he was gone last time but it didn’t come to fruition because we couldn’t get the foot deal over the line that fell through but yeah Maru is Maru will is a big Testament to what he does now to January if he can get the minutes and he can prove that he’s better off here helping a playoff push than he is going out Al loan that will be another big big telling to what we do but yeah I do think we we’ve got a big overhaul in the summer we’re gonna have a good kitty to to to do it with it all depends on who’s the manager if Harris is here you know he’s it’ll probably make the transition easier they’ve already already identified players that fit what haris wants to do um some of them are already at the club I I personally think we go back in for Ryan Longman I think Longman was always the first choice over Aziz I think Harris loves Longman the way he ended the season the the Neil Harris version of Ryan Longman was unplayable I think if you can get Longman in I think he’d like to do that it’s another young player with some promise who could play multiple positions so I think it depends on who the manager is come the summer because you know it’d be upsetting for Harris if he leaves the club stayed up or just misses out on the playoffs and he leaves and another manager comes in he’s got all this money to spend this rare talent I think that’ be a bit of a kick in the teeth a bit of a bollock move but you know if Harris is here which I expect he probably will be based on what’s Happening Now um it could be a very very very busy summer or busy January as it probably needs to be with getting the center half in but Raymond if you’re un muted now mate your thoughts on we do in January any players going out any coming in yeah sorry um yeah I mean like say back to I not wasn’t digging a in and out great you know what I mean but I just think you know Pace wise IM and Murray Wallace like Murray Wallace bless him but he’s got to go he’s not he’s not quick enough for you know um for this standard but yeah I mean like I say I’m happy with four Strikers four Wingers four Central midfielders two competent right backs obviously Brian we know what we all think of Brian and Tang gang I just think a left a left-sided if Cooper’s going to be out for 10 weeks a younger left-sided Center half whether that’s on loan or um or we buy one but just a younger Left sided Center off and then other than that I wouldn’t touch it like I say players out on loan if he’s gonna you know um Mason Kelly mayor if you know fair enough I mean I hope a who doesn’t you know probably will but I hope he doesn’t and same with renovich what like spent all this money on him and he he’s played and he’s scored and he looks decent if Coburn gets injured again I mean he obled off yesterday then he’s our only sort of like bigger Striker Target man so I I don’t think we can afford to be letting him go out on loan um yeah I’m just happy with it with with it at the minute left get a left-sided Center half in and and happy days whatever happens this
