well what is going on Notre Dame fans Mike singer and Mike ghouls be live on the blue and gold YouTube channel special Monday nights edition of the Mike ghouls be show appreciate everyone watching live watching back listen via podcast trust that you all are doing well and Mr ghouls beby you’re looking good with your HomeField you look you look yolked how’s everything on your end brother good buddy good buddy as we were just saying before we went live I’m Gonna Keep wearing this until we win it let’s get fired up all right let’s let’s get fired up brother 10 minutes ago I was just uh you know bathroom my daughter and getting her to bed and everything and it’s like shft the ghouls be show all right so Notre Dame 49 army 14 we’re not going to spend a whole lot of time on this game specifically um but just thoughts thoughts on what you saw on the field Saturday night let’s talk about some defense no no no no no let’s talk about okay so Riley Leonard yeah let’s talk about kicking game Riley Leonard deep balls no no no the defense has been the driving force of this team team throughout and like last episode what we spend five minutes on it and you know shame on shame on us and shame on me former linebacker so this game I watched the all 22 last night whether it was Navy or whether it was Army these quote unquote triple options we’ve got them in a blender in that what you saw versus army wasn’t anything even resembling a triple option and shout out to my buddy Krueger Krueger was a walk- on Scout team quarterback for four years ran triple option at Marian Catholic in South B he’s texting me during the game he’s like ghouls this is gross because it just turned into basically herob ball with that quarterback of theirs and that whether it was again Navy putting the ball on the ground every other snap or whether it was it was this this instance with army I think that Team Speed singer if they’re deer in a deer in a headlights specifically players I want to give a shout out to um I have to start with Jaden Osberry so we all love him Great Space players made some of the the best open field tackles you you’ll ever see this year but this young man and this game singer he played corner he played Safety he played outside linebacker so I want to give him his credit also Jaylen Sneed you know I’m a fan yep he keeps getting he’s a lot like Bryce young and that you can just watch him get better and better and better um hell he’s almost like Jeremiah love playing defense just in terms of like his explosiveness and the speed so I want to give him a shout out Christian Gray I thought played the game of his life um Scher flying around you know everybody’s grabbing on to Freeman’s kind of pregame onfield interview in terms of he wanted violence um you know Schuler and Sneed and Gray in particular they were hitting people with intent singer and it was just a joy to watch that defense is stupid good stupid good and it it’s not like oh they only look that good against lesser opponents like the defense was tremendous against M like it the defense has been every single it showed up every single game this year like Mike think about when we started doing this show right four four plus years ago we weren’t talking about the defense like this like Team Speed we weren’t really talking about the defense like this no it’s improved everywhere it’s like oh Kyle Hamilton you know they some nice safety um you know in you know circle like 2019 2020 2021 like you know some some nice players defensively but it’s it’s a completely different level Mike so that has been a really nice evolution of this Notre Dame roster is is is Team Speed especially on the defensive side of the ball like these guys can stack up and play against literally anyone in the country JP appreciate the Super Chat and you as well Swan dong no it is true like you said you can stack up man for man athlete for athlete there’s still some questions about you know interior dline size big picture type stuff but there’s a couple snaps you see on the coach’s copy you got Rubio and you got Mills playing next to one another and that’s formidable there’s no doubt about it but now you’re starting to see the net result of a few years of Freeman’s recruiting and all this length and all this speed but again I can’t emphasize this enough about Sneed he’s so fast Mike and there’s a couple maps in this game and you might recall watching his high school film where he would almost be lined up behind the inside linebackers eight yard eight yards worth of depth and you got a chance to actually they would line him up there and then he would move to the line of the scrimmage late in the snap count and there’s a couple instances where he got caught at that level just C Ball get ball it’s just like it’s really fun to watch Joey appreciate the Super Chat talking about Osberry I was looking at some stats earlier so he is 10th on the defense and snaps third on the team in tackles now he’s the linebacker snap counts it goes Kaiser bow and Osberry and that’s the same as with the tackles um Kaiser’s leading the team of 56 also leads the linebackers and snaps Bowen 51 tackles second linebacker and snaps and again Osberry is third there with 43 so when I saw this it kind of caught my eye a little bit like dang like Osberry doesn’t get maybe talk about enough but he is he’s playing outstanding Football Mike he’s kind of like it’s sort of like Kaiser was early in his career super productive always showed up you know had a fumble recovery or an interception played limited snaps but always produced and that’s almost like what you see with Ury but I’m just telling you like he’s in man coverage playing corner and again these are army athletes but it’s and he’s lined up at free safety it’s it’s remarkable again in terms of the types of athletes that you brought into the building and they multiple kind of skill sets yeah yeah I I think in terms of like that 2023 recruiting class we give a lot of like oh man the Schuler and the bow and some of these guys like that have really emerged yeah we don’t talk about Osberry enough that that 23 class continues to just dominate on the football field um another couple guys Burnham I thought played great you didn’t miss Howard cross you didn’t miss him and hinish is a very very similar player quick as can be great hands um and then you know the timing of kind of Rubio coming back and be full strength it it really cushions the blow while Howard gets healthy Mike I’m curious about that shirt where where’d shifted since the beginning of the year where he was almost kind of hesitant almost kind of speaking into himself semi- reserved on the sideline prior to kind of fumbling through things we’ve seen his nature change in press conferences as well singer um but yeah he’s like I mean the evolution of this team and the evolution of him as a head coach has been remarkable and I’m telling you it’s been a couple games in a row where you’ve seen us like hurt players you know kids staying down on the field kids walking off but this was a this was a very physical game this is a very physical game and not only that the flow to the ball singer defensively in terms of getting a lot of dudes around it um effort to the ball that really kind of has shined through and then beyond that there’s a lot of talking man you you know we all respect the service and all of that but I mean you seen Schuler talking junk you seen Drake Bowen talking junk you seen Riley Mills with a little bit of extracurricular stuff Christian Gray just plays that come to mind and we can sit there and worry about the kicking game and it will keep me up at night right I’m with you all and you could worry about the passing game we’ll get into it but I’m just telling you this team is freaking dialed in the team is dialed in like the it is ratcheted up and it’s you can you can see it you can see it do you think the team is ratcheted up I I I had missed the first part of your discussion there I had to take care of something real quick but do you think that that is because of Freeman like the the the team kind of gets the identity of the coach and it seems like Freeman has changed since the NIU game yep is there a correlation I think all credit goes to Thomas hammock the head coach Northern Illinois they gave free I’m kidding you know he and he and Freeman had a pow wow after the game I do think a lot of the credit goes to Freeman and I think there’s something to be said we’ve all been there at one point in our lives or another but kind of that man in the mirror scenario slash backs against the wall and we fought our way out of it and I think it’s a beautiful thing it’s not how anybody would have necessarily chose to draw it up but it’s been a great thing and I think it was um was it JD pick roll kind of mentioned that singer there that like maybe this that loss was what that team needed to kind of flip that switch and I’m just telling you the team is energized and they’re like legitimately having fun out there yeah you you notice it yeah beaston 88 appreciate the Super Chat says gou can I please get your opinion on Penn State I don’t understand their top five ranking beating crappy big 10 schools by one keep up the great work boys be appreciate it it I’ll Chim in real quick quick gby it’s interesting because like their strength of schedule and whatnot continues to be high they I I guess they it’s just a bunch of solid teams but no like they don’t have a single standout win um like at USC and overtime might be their number one win the it’s gonna be really interesting to see if Notre Dame jumps Penn State because Notre Dame is really playing well right now blowing everybody out Penn State seems to kind of be limping to the Finish Line do you have any thoughts on this Mike oh of course so I paid attention that that running back first name’s KRON awesome first name for running back big back doesn’t worry me whatsoever the quarterback Drew kind of a pretty boy legitimately and he’s got some they played at Nebraska and he got his knee tweaked and he was kind of talking smack to the fans but like in an immature it kind of came off bad and then in this game he’s trying to call the time out past weekend he’s throwing his helmet on the sidelines he’s got the jewelry you know he’s got the necklaces and stuff he’s a very immature young man with a ton of talent I’m told anyway if we see them and I tweeted this singer I think Al golden in in that defensive unit can make him cry maybe not like outwardly cry but he’s gonna get so frustrated with that immature like nature that he has Penn State doesn’t worry me the slightest bit you could talk about their defensive line sure but no we’re a better team than Penn State I again there I’m just telling you there’s something about Golden’s defense and the speed on defense you are gonna get that that quarterback worked up championship game I just don’t see them dropping to what an 89 game or 710 game but that would be of all of the playoff teams that Notre Notre Dame could play in the first round that’s who I want because I really want Notre Dame to just get a marquee win right off the bat and then just kind of Make some noise there I I I don’t want them personally I don’t want to see you know Boise or UNLV or you know Arizona what you know Indiana I want to knowre name to to host a pen State a Georgia a Tennessee something like that that that’s I’ve been saying that for a while and I still still feel good about that yeah Tennessee doesn’t they don’t concern me either just because they have that Young quarterback and more to the same of what I’m speaking about in terms of Penn State doesn’t doesn’t doesn’t worry me just doesn’t and I think as a program you know college football’s kind of cyclical it feels like Notre Dame is really in an upswing as does Tennessee but it’s not like they’ve been on the top of the mountain for years and years right they were kind of had a recent sort of comeuppance the way i’ I see it yeah it it’s it’s interesting like and and someone has said this on the message board today going back to my signing days in nine days thing this is off topic but I I guess it’s kind of on topic but Notre Dame run to the play off hot by far Freeman’s best season as Notre Dame’s head coach but might be his worst recruiting class people think there’s always a correlation to you win your class is better you lose class is not going to be as good but that is not the case this year we’ll see how it finishes they can flip Jaylen Wiggins from Florida the the big you know 270 pound defensive lineman if they can land Madden Fimo from Southern California interestingly enough is going to be at the USC game this weekend um between the Trojans and the Fighting Irish of course you know we could be talking about a different class but I don’t know Mike do you have any thoughts on that before we move on to something else well yeah I do and you know this singer right but like to the average fan the kids don’t watch the games like the recruits aren’t really watching the games so it’s not really surprising that’s my initial thought on the offensive side of the ball like specifically with the wide receiver room in that 2025 class I don’t know if I see that shifting until the offense continues to grow and perhaps more importantly you put dudes in the league you know until you have a star Justin Jefferson the Malik neighbors the odells like they’ll have state kids Mike yes you think kids like that’s a big deal to them like think so dude all of us want to go to the NFL I mean that is the penultimate goal is to get to the league and if there’s you know if LSU could be lazy in recruiting athletes because they’re like look at this kid look at this kid look at this kid same way with Ohio State right it’s it’s uh you know it’s just they roll them into the NFL so I don’t think that changes um but the other thought we want to honor the late great loose Emoji Mike you know he had the rule of thirds right and that a third of your class is going to end up being like starters or Elite a third forgive me if I’m misquoting it but a third is kind of middling players and a third doesn’t make it transfers out bust Etc right yeah yeah Stars kind of just solid in like solid contributors and then Buffs yeah so pretty much so that 2025 class is very topheavy the top five six players you love them y I agree you’re thrilled with the top but there’s some throughout yeah but you feel great about the top top again third of that class yeah um I just noticed this Roger Dodger guy he’s in all of our shows and he’s a USC fan I just realized I don’t know why you’re here brother that doesn’t make sense to me Aaron Gordon hey loved you on the magic he says it’s weird the emotions this team has me feeling it’s like I’m a 14-year-old kid cheering on those mid to late ‘ 80s teams let’s fing go I agree I love it Aaron and Mike I do want to give you the floor what has you so fired up about Notre Dame like this team you feel like can make a big run in the college football playoffs right beat SC make a run what has you so giddy won the defense to the evolution of Freeman I think he’s really found his Lane in terms of messaging and consistency with the energy and the intensity the coordinators gives me a lot of reason to be hopeful and then quite frankly and this is gonna sound like crazy but the offense singer and that we don’t have stud wide receivers I don’t care what anybody told you in the preseason or through Spring ball or whatever listen to me and hide okay we don’t have the guys as at wide receivers we just don’t the offensive Line’s held up starting to gel a little bit but you’ve got Riley Leonard Mike going back to the backyard football thing you know going back to what I you know Urban Meyer four as in yards four for the team he can always give us four and his competitive nature he doesn’t turn the ball over and I’m like okay if we can just move the ball even if it’s ugly and you have like a world class defense I’m excited about it and then beyond that singer the landscape of college football dude there are no Goliath this particular season so it’s like I don’t know man maybe it’s just one of these Notre Damey things but it’s just like if Notre Dame was gonna do it why wouldn’t it be this year why wouldn’t it and I just feel like and John and I talk about this on patreon all the time in terms of when so many of us watching been by the way what a season it’s been but I just go back to when Marcus Freeman was in the tunnel at Kyle Field playing A&M and he was Conor like let’s go and it just felt like he was kind of like kind of holding the back versus really letting him hang and I feel like it’s just been a total shift in those players are the reason that he’s in the spot that he’s in going back to when Kelly left in the middle of the night right made a 30 30 second speech to the team and dipped those players are the reason that he’s here and I just feel like I again I just kind of keep going back to the team thing the team thing yeah truly all right Mark Super Chat he meant threat what is the USC threat like I don’t like what what what USC brings maybe I I don’t know watch much of that UCLA game the other night I was watching it kind of casually yeah it wasn’t a pretty you you’d say they’ve got talent at wide receiver that’d be that’d be their threat and the other thing is this quarterback he’s newish came over from UNLV so there’s not a lot of tape on him in terms of in that system with those players that’s a curious thing for me but I just get the sense and dude I’ve been pretty pessimistic the four years that I’ve been doing this or pretty reserved or try to be as objective as possible but I just think that like we could go take this unit and play anywhere I mean we’re not we’re so fast so far past the point of like us embarrassing ourselves I just don’t see I just don’t see it and I take that NIU loss I put that solely on Freeman I’ll take that to my grave when you take a Thursday practice off and turn it into a walk to walk through on week two of the season the team and those young men they kind of throttled back it’s no different than what you did last year at Louisville rotating offensive lineman during the game you know and you learn from that you learn from that speaking of offensive line that’s something then you wanted to talk about what’s on your mind with that group Mike well I was asked on patreon like what’s the biggest concern moving forward on this team and I feel like I know what the wide receiver room is or isn’t my biggest concern is the o line because you know Captain Obvious but it’s like they make everything go and I’ve watched enough tape of Riley Leonard and it’s not so much because everybody wants to see the Deep ball it’s not so much the time that you give Riley it’s almost the spacing singer so it’s like if he’s got two yards of spacing versus two and a half to three yards just in terms of a bubble a nice pocket he’ll deliver but if you like if you let them like encroach that extra yard and a half he gets a little nervous and then obviously you need the offensive line to make the Run game go more or less so the o line needs to be like great not good in the past they need to be they need to be mint that’s my concern and then as you get like ratcheted up and you play a Georgia defensive line some of these SEC athletes you know can Rocco Spindler with those Stone feet you know can he block somebody in a phone booth that’s a big concern for of mine so what have you seen from the offensive line these past few weeks like are are they much improved from say like the Louisville game at the end of September yeah for sure well yeah they they are I thought Riley was going to throw for like 250 yards this game I was pretty vocal about that because these are army athletes these are like FCS kids sorry you know just in terms of the talent and the speed and all that so it’s like I figured he would have time and I figured our wide receivers would get open so you can’t really take much from the offensive line performance because they’re just playing against lesser dudes but yes they played better Amil Wagner two weeks in a row had some like boneheaded pass Pro things where he’s just seeing it incorrectly uh but no they’re playing well as a unit but it’s just that’s my concern is Riley’s gonna do his thing your backs are gonna do their thing Den Brock’s got a couple rabbits he can pull out of a hat but uh offensive Line’s my biggest concern Mike I wanted to ask you about the USC rivalry it’s USC we we have to talk about this but you know just thinking off the top of my head I I I feel like when you were at Notre Dame and 03 was the year you were out with your injury right that’s right but I think otherwise you what like two and one or were you two and two your time at Notre Dame when besides the year you were hurt does that sound right we won my freshman year one sophomore year in 2001 one sophomore year got the breaks off of my junior year that was uh Carson Palmer sat out 0304 got the breaks speat off of us Matt leard so we won Carson Palmer Heisman even though I intercepted him and we won Reggie Bush Matt Leonard I forget which year they won the but wean we played Peak USC back then Peak Peak Pete Carrol poodle Pete but you still somehow respect them you always respected the talent even though I’ve said on this show half a dozen times lendell white the big running back played for the Titans he spit in my face it’s the only time that’s ever happened to me so I’ll always remember that spit in my face that game I’ve heard that one yeah I always think about it there he is yeah great play and I broke some streak he had some streak going of so many throws without an interception and Keith Jackson rest in peace he sat on the broadcast that his grandmother could have intercepted that pass like f you Keith get a life can we talk about the good up what’s that oh the fit yeah walk me through it walk me through like was this like every week gouby had like this look well the thing on my left knee is for Jumper’s knee tendonitis in your knee that thing on my shin is a big I had a big like uh sometimes you get cleated you know like like a cleat Mark and then that strap on my right shoulder so I tore my labom in training camp um so I wore that like I said I don’t have Labs today in either shoulder and then this is interesting oh it’s so funny brought this up singer so on my left arm I’m wearing like a little wristband up there and there’s a gentleman here correct okay there’s a gentleman Keith and folks that know the program will know who I’m talking about so Keith was uh a gentleman he was at all of our practices wheel chair bound I don’t know what his condition was but like the biggest Notre Dame Super Fan ever you had a difficult time speaking he passed away this season oh man uh but he oh give me a little knot my throat dude he gave me that wristband that week and asked me to wear it and I never wore so that was not my normal fit but I wore that for keys so rest in peace Keith crazy that’s crazy you brought that up nice story yeah someone I forget his last name makes me feel bad but I know somebody did a write up on it you could look it up if you know you know he was always around someone asked in the chat if you like this helmet versus the current one what do you prefer um I prefer this one so again for people that don’t know what a hasb been so like this helmet this gold singer comes from the actual dome right so every so often they recot the Dome so they take the gold plating from the Dome they collect it and they put it in the paint where they used to paint our helmets like you’ve seen Rudy I think that’s so cool and then like they painted every single week so now I don’t assume they paint these helmet singer right I don’t think they do it it’s probably a tradition that’s gone to the Wayside but by the end of your SE season you have eight nine 10 layers of paint and then sometimes like if you hit somebody especially in a cold like a home playoff game at Notre Dame you hit somebody and that gold explodes and like falls from the sky like that’s cool Notre Dame to me so I still prefer this I prefer this this color YouTube chat is just giving us ton of T of content to discuss here beaston says does does Jeremiah Love remind you of Reggie Bush at all um I get it but no I think Jeremiah loves a bigger athlete you know he’s I think he’s taller I think he’s 10 15 20 pounds heavier he’s a more powerful kid Reggie was all about um you know moves and speed and all that so Reggie Bush I mean I’ve heard Ricky Waters I used to think coming out of high school I was like Darren mcfaden uh but he’s just a beautiful beautiful athlete to watch him move and like it it’ll be fun when he when it’s time for to go to the NFL like what those comps I’ve heard Dickerson but I mean he’s maybe he’s just one of one truly he’s getting his due which is which is nice to see nationally the thing about Jeremiah that always stands out to me is like how flashy he is with the ball in his hand and the plays he can make he has that ability but then he will knock the hell out of you trademark Tim hide the in pass Pro dude he will and the and then the the gritty Arts third and ones you think you would put in jar JD price who you know could crack my skull with his biceps no love love is such a tough runner between the tackles and short yardage he he really can do everything he’s awesome he’s awesome and like I said fans don’t get worked up about a kicker like enjoy turning on your TV Saturday afternoon and watching a Jeremiah Love Like kids like this don’t come around our program all the time and then the humility of that kid for folks that don’t know he’s been the Gunner on punt Team all season yeah so he’s a you know first second round Talent at running back that’s covering punts as a gunner not a lot of kids are wired like that and you gotta love the celebration too man he’s got it all get your T-shirt Tom said I completely disagree singer price is much better on short yardage I that’s not what I said Tom I said that Notre aame usually goes with love like they use love and short yardage I feel like more often um they yeah they’re both they’re both they’re both they’re both great players don’t get me started on pigeon toe bowlegged and all this stuff I’ve never liked the way jarian Price’s foot hits the ground he slaps the ground he’s duck footed you know toward Achilles maybe that’s connected but no I just love I love everything about Jeremiah and how about that touchdown he scores dude he jumps over guy he’s TW I mean we’ve seen running backs jump over people he’s twice as high as like what you’re accustomed to yeah yeah usually they have like a the hand down on the helmet to like give him a little boost no that was just it’s more of a it’s more of a hurdle whereas this guy like both KN up like yeah it’s remarkable and that’s one interesting thing as you kind of get into the playoff environment you start thinking about it I said this like pre-season or maybe it was after that Northern Eloy thing I just started saying like love can save us it’s like if we got into a situation where like offense is clunking out you know pass PR this or that it’s like you got Jeremiah Love so if there’s ever a game when it’s a nailbiter it’s like I don’t need to see a three four back rotation it’s like give it to the best player on the field and I hope we do that if that you know situation ever comes about well he doesn’t get too many touches per game so hopefully that that does change another just quick word on USC Mike the the importance of that rivalry I know these are things we talk about all the time but it’s USC week so I always like to to pick your brain about rivalries when it comes to Notre day Mike and I know you want to break down the o line and the defense and everything but I I I have to ask you these things so just the USC rivalry what like what do you think it means to Notre Dame as a ex- captain well you go back to the whole Rockne thing like the backstory of it’s great and that his wife wanted to get out of Southbend so they take the train to La so the back story is very cool if you don’t know it I I’m no historian forgive me but the back story is cool um it’s a great robberry and I I do think it’s not so much of a hatred like in Ohio State Michigan because of the proximity to one another it’s more of a respect thing we’ve been down they’ve been up we’re up they’re down leave no doubt I mean in a rivalry game like this make it count and and I’m just telling you I just the only other interesting thing is the stadium isn’t much isn’t like much right who knows it’ll probably be 5050 Notre Dame fans if not 6040 Notre Dame fans but there’s something about like when I think about USC when having played at the Coliseum there’s something excuse me about playing on that field and maybe it was just in my ERA with all the team speed that they had but singet feels like the the field is wider it feels like it’s 65 yards wide not 53 like when you’re running the ball it’s just something about that place it’s it’s Unique those are my thoughts but it’s a great rivalry but let’s kill him do you feel confident about I feel very confident yeah on Saturday yeah yeah I mean you and Hyde were talking about you know what are we nine and two or whatever against the spread this year we’re about to be 10 and two you laying a couple we can’t figure out the kicking situation Tex andd said wait who’s gonna be 10 and two he said 10 against the spread Notre Dame is nine and two they just well it depends on when you got the Virginia line um but they didn’t cover against Miami and of course the the game that may not be mentioned so so pretty much designed quarterback running with Leonard is is done just let him let them scramble I think so yeah it’s when you talk about the Deep ball like one of the first attempts to go deep against Army there were like 12 15 yard stop routes they weren’t true verticals because I hand of God I don’t believe that we have guys that in conjunction with the offensive line they’re not not fast enough to get to the top of the route with the timing that’s needed and it was all stops and then Riley just tucked it and ran that’s what we want you know creative runs versus design runs one more thing that I had to talk about Mike and then you know we can see what the YouTube comments are saying and if you had any other thoughts was um the running back usage how many okay so Jay love obviously has the most snaps among the running backs just an idea of price versus anas Williams snaps like how many more I mean JD has more but how many more do you think JD has than anas well it felt like after I don’t recall the game but when JD price put the ball on the ground he put the ball on the ground and we put him on the bench and was it was it Virginia that he got quite a bit of run snaps for I don’t know Mike 15 it’s seven it’s almost 195 to 127 but doesn’t it feel like it’s closer like to me it does like price has gotten a lot more the Louisville game he had five snaps I think that’s the game that he had that fumble um but like three of the first four games JD had more than 23 snaps per game and then from Georgia Tech to Virginia it was all in the in the in the 10 right from from 11 to to 19 and then he had 25 against Virginia excuse me army meanwhile anas is kind of the opposite where he’s had less than 10 the first two games of the year and he’s really come along since he had only eight snaps against Army but 26 against Virginia I don’t know I I thought that was interesting I thought it would have been closer but it it does seem like anias is getting more of JD’s snaps um you know especially compared to early in the season but I just thought that was interesting that’s on Coach Mulla and he I he seems to be a guy that or a coach that has his guy and I thought Jabron Payne was his guy and I really think that’s more of a wiring thing with the kid mentality football character type stuff that I think coach grabs on to which I’m with and it makes total sense with Jabron Payne and it makes total sense with anas Williams I just don’t think that Williams provides the upside that we know it that love provides or Price provides or even kedin young I think kedin Young more is more talented personally but he’s kind of slotted in there as that third down back but that’s where I’m sitting there going if we’re in a close game or God forbid we’re behind in the third four fourth quarter whatever is the case and we’re putting a true freshman andas Williams in who probably runs you know 4 sish something like that as opposed to a price or a love and a third down I’m gonna lose my mind in a playoff game I’m gonna lose my mind you know dude because love love will he’ll Jack you up in pass protection like you’ve seen it over and over and he’s a great lead he’s our best fullback sorry no yeah for sure yeah nias I love anas so much as a player but yeah he almost got walked I was so glad he didn’t against Army you think almost I wouldn’t say almost I was nervous for a second and then he kind of pulled away but I was nervous for a second and that’s Army right it’s not Georgia but that’s not an Asis game like just like Nolan James the Boston College running back kit who they flipped like that’s Nolan’s the same way um you know if those two guys were 44 guys then you know you’re talking about top 100 overall players in my opinion but anas is amazing I like anas a lot I just go back to what we were talking about the wide receiver room 20 minutes ago and Jeremiah Love was on a podcast I think he was on that Notre Dame produced podcast where they’re sitting on the couches I forget what it’s called they do a good job and they asked Jeremiah Love how good can you be if everything’s you know if everything goes like according to plan in terms of blocking scheme execution like how good can you be and he’s having a toot his own horn he’s like I think like Heisman potential and when we’re talking about you know what’s Nolan James a three star right we flipped them you look at Daniel Anderson he’s not a Notre Dame football player the kid that you know kind of got lost in the shuffle why can’t Jeremiah Love become a household name become a first second round pick and then you become running back you like you like to think you are with tight end’s in offensive line he could be that spark I’m just telling you he’s that good yeah running back position I say this all the time it is night and day from what it was the first start cover Notre Dame where you had Jafar Armstrong was your was your leading back and now it’s I mean kedin young is so talented I mean they he’s not getting on the field just because of all the guys in front of him seems really weird considering the strength of schedule how do you think they will seed us tomorrow night um I mean so the ranking will probably be is it were what were they six and Indiana was five so they’ll be at five but in terms of the seating were they last week were they seven were they the or were they eight I can’t remember what they were last week but for me it’s it’s all about just how notame compares to Penn State that’s really the only thing that I I I I think is really important to track is how they View Notre name versus Penn State because Penn State isn’t going to play in the Big 10 championship game so they have nothing to like after they play Nobody this weekend like if if Notre Dame jumps Penn State tomorrow and then Notre Dame beats USC it’s wraps Notre Dame’s just over Penn State so um that’s a big deal if they can get over the N lines that’s good enough for me and they were they were in the 89 that’s that was the cfp bracket from last week Notre Dame was the eight playing B so Indiana loses so I would guess seven uh but could they climb past Penn State and be in the six that is that’s the big question uh Tex andd said who will be the defense of MVP versus USC Mike who you really uh you know keying on uh for the Saturday h Kaiser has been playing really well maybe Mills maybe one of the corners it’s tough it’s tough to say you know watts is always in the mix but I mean dude Schuler shows up like Watts I mean Watts had a couple bad angles against Army I felt like um I can’t tell you but I just think that like that unit as a whole is is is historical right so it’s like don’t even look at it as from like an individual thing look at it as holistically they are hunting right now singer they are gouls be any other thoughts before we sign
