we’re in week seven of the NHL season and the intensity has ramped up to a whole new level we got Sydney Crosby dropping the gloves to Crosby to the ice who’s right back up and Swinging with a couple the league as a whole is getting pisser by the day another chaos chapter of the season is in the books so here’s what really happened in week seven of the NHL season Sunday nasty NES there are very few players on a heater right now like our Boy Slim Shady and Marty nus with him and Hurricanes taking on the blues they let up the first goal but then they get four unanswered with NES being in on all of them two goals and two assists for The Real Slim Shady to extend his point streak to 13 games side note Mr Anderson is still battling the injury bug but coov is holding down the fort and he came in and shut the door with 29 saves and a 4-1 win now let’s keep the tendy love going with the 2012 Jonathan Quick finding his form against Seattle 24 Shots 24 saves and that’s his second shut out in a row while noted bust Alexi lerer gets his seventh in a two nothing Rangers dub now Obie is not just defying father time but he’s straight up disrespecting it the man can just taste beating Gretzky’s record and he decides to go off Carlson around tokin Feats an midle tap score walking in head shot and his SC zetkin for the hat trick he’s got it the big rush machine is white hot right now and he’s playing so well that he’s even making game saving plays on the goal line to keep the puck out at 39 he’s off to the hottest start of his career and he looks like he wants to win a godamn selki out there the Caps stay impressive as they win 5 to2 with Charlie lingren stopping 40 shots and we go from one pleasant surprise in Washington to the Colossal let Downs in Nashville Nightmare start to the season so far and it looked like it would get worse with them falling behind 2 to1 to the Canucks but the PRS are sick of it and they score three straight to pick up a much needed win it’s hilarious to say that they’re playing in must- wi games right now but when you consider how far behind they are they need every point that they can get Monday brutal brunes there are 31 other fans bases in the league right now that are cheering for the Bruins downfall for all those years these suckers have been praying for it to happen only for Boston to somehow stay one of the best teams in the East but right now they look like they’re heading for disaster and what should be an easy two points for playoff teams Boston gets spanked by the Blue Jackets including two short-handed goals against they get booed off the ice which means heads are going to roll that meant that coach Jim Montgomery would get fired the next day as the scapegoat despite having an absurd win record during his tenure for the Bruins and for the first time in years Boston’s future seems turbulent you can follow that under things you love to see just like seeing Obie score yet again against the Utah Hockey Club we’re witnessing history it’s looking like Obie is going to absolutely smash this record and it looks like nothing can stop him but then this happened Jack McBain goes knee on knee with Obie and he can’t put any weight on it everyone holds their Collective breath but luckily afterwards he was only listed week to week with a lower body injury just a brutal bounce for him and really all hockey fans as he was on a heater hopefully he stays hot when he comes back now even though the Avalanche got nushin back kale ma whereas M car is still putting on a dominant season for a dmen and helping the ABS win games two more goals for him against the Flyers and when the ABS can get a save they’re pretty much a lock for the win it’s rare though since their go ending is a coin flip on most nights you can kind of say the same for the Habs goalie and Sam monbo some nights he looks fantastic other nights he very much doesn’t of course when you’re playing in front of Montreal’s defense it’s a miracle you’re even stopping pucks at all so heading into this game against the Oilers you’d probably guess it’d be a shooting gallery for them but you’d be wrong monbo pitches a shut out and you can basically call that a Mighty Duck Miracle as they beat a much better Stars team now finally the moment we’ve all been waiting for and that’s another 2024 edition of the NHL toilet bowl between the San Jose Sharks and the Detroit Red Wings didn’t expect to see Detroit here at the start of the season but hey you got to win at something and they can’t even do that right a back and forth game all Winnipeg but everyone will continue to say no matter what let’s just wait for the playoffs Minnesota on the other hand are just trying to get to the dance and like Winnipeg they continue to show that they may actually be the real deal with a game-winning bomb from Jonas Brodin the wild stay hot now how lucky are we to get two toilet bowl games on backto back nights and it’s a wonderful time for Bard to start putting up some points he gets two Beauty assists and what has been a tough year for him so far but the Ducks liil Carlson gets the last laugh to win part two of the toilet bowl the Flames fans rightfully roasted me when I forgot Dustin Wolf’s first career shut out last week and it was well deserved I’ll admit I’ll take a lap but getting to play the Islanders is a goalie’s wet fatov of the Philadelphia Flyers 1-1 game in the third and look at this squeaker that he lets in from Sebastian AO that is an 11 p.m. beer league special right there and ultimately the game winner as the carow wagon hurricanes keep the ball rolling now let’s all congratulate the Dallas Stars tonight for their opportunity to play the Sharks Jason Robertson activated RoboCop mode and puts up three points and another Dallas up but really I should start congratulating teams for playing the PRS because because it seems like nothing is going right for them 45 seconds in they take a penalty for not starting the correct lineup they had on the score sheet that is just unexcusable and it’s fitting that they get shut out by the crack and the boot I’ve never seen a hotter seat than the one Coach Andrew Bernett is sitting in right now shut outs also seem to be in the water on Wednesday because we got another barn burner between the Sabers and the Kings if you suffer from insomnia this game would have put you to sleep faster than any drug out there Jason Zucker scores the only goal in this one- nothing snoozefest while ukap peka lukanin shuts the door against La the Sabers are getting dangerously close to 500 which means they’re probably going to find a way to screw it up somehow right Thursday chaos in Columbus now I bet for a fact you didn’t have the lightning and Blue Jackets on your list for being the game of the night and it looked like it was going to be a blowout with the lightning taking a 3 nothing lead but then the game turned to chaos and saves became optional Columbus says all right watch this they get three of their own to tie it back up and then the two trade goals like it’s going out of style six goals scored in the first 6 minutes of the second period and both coaches are going to be just carving up their teams in the film room the next day with this being all tied up at sixes going into o Zack rensy puts an end to the madness he spots wary straight away to fire Columbus wins 76 in an absolute barn burner that saw 11 multi-point scores and a total of 73 shots now let’s move on to the SS who still can’t find a way to win games as they throw 40 shots on samsonov but Vegas holds her down for ottawa’s fourth straight loss yet again for S fans the start of the Season feels like a sick joke and Groundhog Day now down in Boston the Joe sacko era is underway for the Bruins and Mark cik was amped up for it he and Robert puso dropped the MS not once but twice in the same game and Boston quiet some of the noise noise with a one- nothing win little Side Story there is that Corp pasalo gets the shut out and Swan continues to struggle to find his game after Holding Out for his juicy deal so since it’s fun and almost sad at times to watch let’s all experience what Islanders hockey is like with it being tied 1-1 in the final minute against the Red Wings loose Puck Raymond ah yes everybody loves Rayman he steals the game for Detroit who desperately need one now upset of the night goes to the Blackhawks who beat the Panthers 3 to1 with Bard once again being held pointless tough go but an even tougher go is Obie being out 4 to 6 weeks with a broken fibula just a brutal outcome for oie hockey fans and especially the caps and to rub salt in the wound they lose 2-1 to the ABS meanwhile the battle to be the big dog in the Metro had the Devils beating the hurricanes and yesper Brad atoui absolutely cooked two goals and one assist for him and it’s probably safe to assume that these two teams will be going back and forth all year to try and own the Metro however you can’t forget about the Rangers and even though eigor is stopping 49 shots the Flames are a team that just continue to be silent Killers Connor Zari catches eigor going down early and he goes top bunk for the game winner Dustin wolf for The Calder picks up even more steam with his great performance and the Wolf Pack gets stronger let’s also quickly congratulate the blues who get the Sharks on this fine night and yav asov makes his debut in a sharks uniform and and they score on him 11 seconds into the game welcome to the team kid get used to it but despite the shaky start the sharks make it a game but losing a shootout to the blues now I don’t know what’s going on this week but we got another beer league play of the night with dry cidal attempting a pass it bounces off of a skate clears one guy two guys and then it rolls in on flurry and whoop right through his legs unbelievable how blessed is Leon D Sidle for that goal vesa tosa would be D proud of how flurry let that puck in and when you get bounces like that it’s usually not your night but the wild were able to settle in and make Stuart Skinner look like the actual beer leag goalie in this game they put up a five piece on them for the win and keep the mcdy cidal pair to just one lucky point to end Thursday Friday save Sid it’s the end of the work week and I can guarantee you that Sydney Crosby is sick of the penguin [ __ ] with 12 losses in their last 16 games they had their toughest challenge against the Winnipeg Jets and you know things are starting to flip upside down when Sid feels the need to drop the gloves KY Connor gives him a reverse hit he doesn’t like it one bit so he decides to go for a tilt now in case it wasn’t obvious let’s be clear cdy Crosby should never have to drop the gloves but the penguins are so soft and lifeless right now that this middle-aged man feels the need to drop them to elicit any sort of emotion but predictably from this Penguins team it failed Kyle Connor added a goal and assist on top of fighting Sid and they take the game 4 to1 to go 17 and3 on the season the only other game on was between the Ducks and the sabes before you chuckle and throw this aside for another toilet bow game the Sabers do have a chance to sneak into that last wild card spot with a win and even though it’s a laughable offense to go down two to the ducks good teams find a way out of a bad situation the Sabers score two quick goals in the second and win it in ot to officially move to 500 on the season between them the and the Red Wings Buffalo looks like the sole team closest to potentially leaving the Bermuda Triangle of mid Saturday hockey night every single team but two were in action on hockey’s day so let’s dial it in the much anticipated battle between the future Superstars and Conor Bard and MAF mitkov took place early on now it’s no secret Bard is struggling this year but mitkov has had a great start leading all rookies in points and with the Hawks taking a two-goal lead Philly would have a late surge to tie the game so mitkov would step up and I’m looks to connect me connect me SC who else kid can’t stop scoring big goals and Philly takes it 3 to2 meanwhile the Flames are trying not to blow a lead of their own but Marco Rossi goes to the net gets greasy and ties it with 30 seconds left but the Flames have noted shootout specialist and Costco Enthusiast Justin Kirkland to keep the dream alive Rasmus Anderson ends it in a shootout to give them a win that would have had them as the top dogs in the Pacific but there’s another silent killer lurking in La need a goalie and a pinch you got to call Big save Dave rck to get you out of a bind as he stops 20 of 21 to beat the Kraken now as for the ABS well you can count on their offense to go berserk at any moment a four-goal second period on the Panthers is just tidy work chaos follows Colorado and they welcome it with a 74 win chaos also follows the Penguins but in a much worse way these guys have made me sick this week so I’ll keep it quick predictably Crosby scores the longone goal and it’s the 600th of his career they lose 6 to1 and if you want to hear how much of a joke they’ve been they’ve let in 91 goals on the season no one else has given up more than 75 # saave Sydney Crosby flood the comments with it I’ve had enough of it the Canadians can also join them as well as they let Vegas drop five on them in the second period and get booed off of the ice the tank is clearly starting early for them this year but I wonder if that’s also included in the eer plan because Jesus they stink too Boston has had a whirlwind of a week but it’s the captain who rips one late in the third for the game winner and they go 2 and0 in the sacko era meanwhile the cops in the injured o era fall to 0 and2 as they give up three straight to the Devils at least oie is showing signs that he’s just fine as he’s going to basketball games dressed up as a stop sign and drinking beers by the looks of it it looks like the rush machine will be back in in no time now moving on to Tampa and Dallas the stars are a team that can just lock you down they’ve allowed two or fewer goals 12 times in 19 games this season combined that rupe hints slicing through defense like hot butter not many teams can compete as they take care of business against the Lightning L larell probably handled business in his own way by threatening to break some legs if guys don’t start scoring so K pom gets the message loud and clear and he double dips and Elia soken joins in to help them with their typical sleepy style of win the exact opposite was the game between Carolina and Columbus the Hurricanes battle back three separate times and then take the lead but
