if I could create the perfect pitcher for next season these are the five pitches that I would go with and my fifth pitch might actually shock you guys I almost went with Benjy for my primary fast ball but I’m going to go with Mason Miller’s fast ball because he can throw it 101 plus miles hour and it has 19 in of movement I would use that moving fast ball to set up the spinker from Paul SK because it’s 5 to 7 mph slower but it’s still coming in hot now we got to really slow it down Paul SK change up still comes in at 87 to 88 mph get a 54% whiff rate on that pitch we’re going to bump the velocity backup for our fourth pitch the David Robertson cutter was nearly unhitable last year maybe you go with the Emanuel CL cutter but I want a slower cutter to set up my sweeper I already have the Mason Miller fast ball in my back pocket I don’t need the class cutter but I told you guys in the intro my fifth pitch would be the most surprising to you I’m going to go with Porter Hodge for my fifth and final pitch the sweeper Porter sweeper hovers around 83 to 84 milph and it almost acts as two pitches in one and it was devastating when he threw it he held his opponents to a 070 batting average against that sweet
