Zion Williamson just fired his agent and it’s secretly because of the Knicks CAA already has many ties to the Knicks and apparently in 2019 Zion made it clear to CIA that he wanted to play for the Knicks one day but it’s been 5 years and they still haven’t been able to get it done but there’s one other reason his relationship with CIA went South his unique contract in 2022 Williamson signed a 5year $197 million extension to stay with New Orleans but the contract included several special Clauses like weight checkpoints in the 2024 to 25 season that Zion needs to meet to earn 20% of his salary and the games he missed in 2022 and 2023 already triggered a clause that rendered the remainder of his deal non-guaranteed basically the contract was trying to protect the Pelicans more recently sources said Zion has gotten a better understanding of how the contract details and he wasn’t a fan mixed with the Nicks debacle Zion decided to officially fire his agent
