this has to be one of the more ridiculous things I have ever heard first off am I disappointed that Juan stto went with the New York Mets instead of the New York Yankees absolutely I am I am not going to sugarcoat it but the rumor is now John Haymon has said this so take it with a grain of salt Heyman says that the Yankee security guard kicked his mom and dad out of a certain area of the stadium back in April or May look if SoDo is holding a grudge about a security guard doing something like that well that’s really low on stto but I have a different theory that I think might be the correct answer and that is that the New York Mets offered more money yes the Yankees did offer a 16-year deal but at the end of the day ju stto made a decision to go to the Mets and that’s his decision do I think that this report about a security guard making Juan sto upset caused all of this absolutely not now this is just my personal opinion but I think Juan stto looked at the two teams sees the way the Yankees have been doing business the last few years see how the Mets are going to be doing business with Steve Cohen and simply decided that he thinks he has a better chance of winning with the Mets over the next 15 years than he does with the Yankees do I think that’s true no I’m still having a hard time getting over the insane contract numbers this is just something that has been going up exponentially year after year after year and now it’s reached a point where it’s actually scary we’re getting really close to a billion doll contract just think of it just 10 years ago players were making 150 million and that was a shitload it still is a shitload of money but that is like the average good Major League ball players contract now anyways what do you think is the situation with the Yankees right now I’ll talk to you guys later [Music] oh
