do some preview Sunday at the end an embargo on Friday we’ll start with tonight’s game good evening um I’m sure you always expected a tough game at anfield but was there a real Turning Point with that goal that you conceded just on the stroke of halftime um I think we were we were in the in in the contest for a result for a long time I think the 31 was was a turning point in the sense of game was was was there for us to get a results um I think 60th minute I remembered a chance for daaka to to score The Equalizer so we were in the game you know to to get a to get a surprising result here we knew as well it’s going to be very tough and it was but we we we we did well we did what we could and uh good start with the goal but I think that well if you could speak a turning point uh after the 3-1 of Salah was uh was for us the the game was was done you kept the same back four again but um you you made changes with no Jamie B and P I playing his first game how did you feel he pred today yeah Jamie had a had a had a small injury couple of knocks over the last weeks picked up and was wasn’t totally fit for today so you know gave him gave him some time to recover and and hopefully he can make it for Sunday uh of course the change in goal was was was a one to make and uh the conversation with with Wy was uh U was impressive I have to share with you that uh the way he was thinking of the team and the club and the performance of his teammates was uh yeah it was I was impressed with that you’ve lost six of the last eight games now well last last lost six six of the last stes is is this just exactly the the sort of job that you expected when you took it and the realization of how big it is uh yes uh I I think uh the challenge was there to come in four weeks ago well for me it was uh uh five games now in um of course uh the challenge is there as a as a promoted side you know what what you’re competing for in in the Premier League and what is necessary to to stay in uh of course you need some luck I think as well that we keep keep our best plays fit I think with Fatu out on a cruise ship that was that was a big blow uh just a week before I started I think it’s it’s it’s a massive uh loss for for this team M Hermanson as well losing him over the over the course of the of the last uh going out in at Newcastle at half time and and and it’s it’s it’s we miss him uh that’s the quality we need then again uh yakob today did an excellent job couldn’t have done better but um I think looking at at uh reaching the Finish Line end of May is is of course where we need to be um just above that relegation Zone and and safe and that’s that’s our belief and and that’s what we have to work towards too rude um so you mentioned the conversation with with Danny there did you go to did he come to you what have conversation no I I I I uh I insisted on on the conversation and uh U of course it’s it’s a private conversation but what I want to share with you is is is uh the person and the professional that he is I was impressed with that conversation and and his uh his his willingness for the team to do well and the club to do well and and and and and really tough on him what what what happened to him and and of course we’re we’re we’re professionals but we’re human beings as well and when when frustration is being directed to one person in particular uh yeah that’s that’s tough on on on someone and and uh and and that’s what we spoke about and you said yeah did as well as what you good what you impressed with his per yeah it was clear I think if you look at his uh at his performance the saves that he made of course is the first thing you’re going to look at but I look at also at at calmness at uh at at composure at certain moments where he’s a young he’s a young keeper talented was out for for a long time with an injury just played once in the under 21s and today you’re making your wut at mfield and if you can pull off a performance like that it’s a it’s a big credit to him you in the B of three now first time they a wel through this season does that add an extra mental challenge to GES going forward yeah but I think uh I think Lester was around the bottom three for uh for a long time and uh of course looking at the table every week uh you’re going to be in or maybe a little bit out but we we know from from the start that we’re going to be in there until the end of the season you know competing with with with with with a couple of clubs to to to stay in so it’s going to be on the long run where we have to focus on uh getting points getting results improve as a team and uh and and and in the end of May uh we want to be ju just above there just check said Jamie NS he get on yeah know Jamie is is has has a good chance to make Sunday uh matz um is is is something that we I think he’s going to need longer to recover from um he wants to try every time to to make uh to see if he can make it but I think it’s an injury that um that is going to take a little bit more time and we we I want to give him that time because we need a fully fit Ms to to help this club staying in and and and in in the meantime yakob can do a great job S as well yeah that’s injury as well uh came on at halime against wolves uh picked up an injury there you know um doubtful very doubtful for for Sunday R what areas of the performance tonight do you think were in improvement from the Wolves performance it was completely different game uh the wolves wolves at home we we were pressing uh quite High we did we did a great job pressing on them high with with with some good moments to have have high ball regains and and and and play from there today was a different game we’re in our own half in a in in in a block compact we knew we had to defend the middle of the pitch and and and the central areas uh where where they were crossing we handled that really well and and looked we looked solid we looked we looked defensively stable I think that’s that’s against this side is uh is a difficult thing to do and a compliment to the team okay folks right into Sunday’s preview so for
