is not having a great night Anthony Davis could take it over if Anthony Davis is not having a great night LeBron can take it over Steph don’t have that go ahead seams so when you think about it there’s two different perspectives here the Warriors they are very much in the star hunt we’ve talked about it I’m told that’s their Pursuit it’s finding that next star player for this organization along with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green they went after Lowry Markin and Paul George in the off season and is that going to be internally with a guy like Jonathan kaming they’ve given him the mantle of different points and then he’s been back to the bench so they’re trying to figure that player out the Lakers are in somewhat of a different boat they feel like they’ve got their top heavy when you think about LeBron James Anthony Davis how do we round out this team uh around both of those guys they’re monitoring the sellers around the NBA Portland Washington Toronto maybe Chicago and my sources in that Lakers front office tell me they are open to moving they’ve got three first round picks they can trade they’re open to moving that in a potential trade but but they want a player or players that they feel can can get into this iteration of this team now with LeBron James and Anthony Davis but can also play for three four five more years under JJ reic as the coach I appreciate that Insight Shams I’m GNA get back at perk though because I totally disagree with him I’m going to tell you why I disagree with you when I look at the Golden State Warriors I understand your point about two players as opposed to one I’m thinking about pace of play I’m thinking about the Lakers are a bit slower I’m thinking about how effective golden state is when coach Steve cerr pointed out when we prioritize getting the ball to Steph Curry movement without the basketball putting defenses on on a swivel and the kind of Havoc it causes when they’re committed to doing that and making sure they’re constantly looking for him and feeding off of that as a means for their success I think they’re far more effective than the Los Angeles Lakers and don’t get me started with the free throw shooting and don’t get me started with the supplementary parts of the Los Angeles Lakers that spent far too much time being awall than showing up the Warriors may be limited but at least their guys show up more so than the Lakers supplement reps that’s my argument what do you say to that I I disagree and when you say the Warriors guys show up more than the Lakers what guys are you talking about we saw buddy Hill get off to a great start then all of a sudden he fell off like No Limit all of a sudden we’re watching Jonathan kaminga he’s trying to find himself we don’t know if he’s going to come in Off the Bench we don’t know if he’s going to be in the starting rooll we don’t know if he’s going to give you 20 or two points ton night Draymond Green his role is not to be a offensive threat again Stephen A when you looking across the league especially in the Western Conference all the guys that are legit all the teams that are legit title contenders they have a two-headed monster right so with that being said what move do you think the golden Warriors should Golden State Warrior should make and Shams when he answers that question you tell me whether or not it’s possible I mean think about it they gave up they gave up Dennis I mean they they got Dennis shuder for nothing basically right two two second round draft picks and uh and Melton who was injured right when you think about the Warriors you got to get a guy that’s is going to move the needle I’m looking at a guy like Zion Williamson okay low R hold on let me explain why Stephen a low risk for high reward and when I say low risk you know he has one of the most unique contracts in NBA history when it comes down to a team or the Whoever has him they could wave him at the end of the season so why not take a chance on a guy like Zion I feel like Zion in Golden state would be a different Zion Williamson he need so in other words he’ll show up to work and go to St suppos to New Orleans he he need to be around greatness I’m just asking I’m just asking are the New York Knicks the biggest threat to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Santa perk they’re not and you know how much of a fan I am of the New York Knicks big body Brunson I feel like they have one of the best starting fives in the NBA but that’s where it stops I’m concerned about the Knicks de right and I know you that they’re getting Landry Shamy back Mitchell Robertson is probably going to be coming back here in the near future but when I look at the Cleveland Cavaliers they check all boxes they have the dep right outside of they starting five and the way that Carris lever been balling I can’t put the New York Knicks ahead of them yet I’m not saying it’s the Cavs by a long stretch they’re right there pretty much NE neck to neck and neck but if I had to get a slight Edge to somebody would be the Cleveland Cavaliers Stephen you and all Nicks fans just need to see how Mitchell Robinson comes back to this lineup cuz you get a healthy Mitchell Robinson to fortify that front Court you want to be closing games with him and col the towns at the four or or mixing and matching those lineups he is so big for them that’s what I’m curious about later this month uh in January but I will say this car Anthony towns is top five in the MVP conversation yeah I actually have him I have him number five behind Giannis joic um SGA and Tatum but definitely top five the way he’s been bought I’m looking at the New York Knicks and believe it or not as hyped as I am about my Knicks I got to agree with you I think that Cleveland’s a bigger threat at this particular moment in time then the New York Knicks because of their bench issue even when Mitchell Robertson comes back we expect a lot from him defensively and rebound we don’t expect the damn think from him offensively with his clumsy self we got the hope that he’s goingon to be ready to to to to to supplement what what what Carl Anthony towns and jayen Brunson in the crew bringing I like the way Mel Bridges is coming on you understand saying been up and down but I like the way he’s coming on and you can’t convince me that the New York Knicks defense which has strugg struggled at times this season that’s going to continue with Tom tho coaching this team I don’t believe it so I’m still going to hold that hope that the New York Andi he’s having massive season to we we we can’t deny that we definitely can’t deny that let me transition to wiana because right now when we see the way that this brother is playing I’m looking at the ball handling because I’m looking at the shot making ability I’m like Lord have mercy I don’t want to hear about him dunking he 75 D he don’t even have to jump to dunk I don’t care about that but the other skill sets that he bring to the table absolutely marvelous perk are you taking or how many players are you taking over wi Victor wiana if you’re trying if you’re trying to start a team in the NBA if I’m trying to start a team in the NBA today it’s only three players that I’m taking over Victor wi beo that’s joic Giannis and Jason Tatum and the only reason I’m taking Jason Tatum is because on the stack team he still every single night is getting you close to 30 point triple double he’s been balling out of control but when it comes to to Victor wi B he’s no he’s Lil Wayne No Silling I expect him in the next two years three years to be the best player on the floor on both ends of the floor no one in the league could do what he does far as his defensive PRS and what he’s able to bring on the defensive side of things we have never seen anything like him defensively offensively we’re starting to see him come into his own I still wish he would go a little bit more in the paint but he’s starting to knock down those threes go ahead Victor wanyama is so focused he’s so driven and that’s what you want to see from today’s star a guy that could be a face in this league and because of his greatness and because now they finally have surrounded him with a point guard like Chris Paul with a wing like Harrison Bon Deon Vel coming off the bench he’s played big when he’s been healthy Stefon Castle they’ve drafted well in San Antonio and they’ve put themselves in a position now where you can go out this season in the summer next season and going out and making win now moves they’re not sellers in San Antonio anymore they’re a team that wants to win and win now around Victor ran let’s give credit where credit is due to pick up a a CP3 in all season that’s a big pickup for them that’s leadership right there did did you just have me on the timer when I was talking I didn’t have you on a time I have a timer in my head you know what I’m saying I don’t need a damn clock I got it I got it programmed I know what the hell I’m doing by the way Victor wiana 24.8 points 9.9 rebounds four blocks this season only three players in NBA history have average 25 10 with four blocks and each player only did it once Kareem Abdul Jabar Patrick Yuan and hem the dream a large one that’s the company Victor wian is in I don’t know if I’m taking anybody over here right now if I’m trying to start a team when you 75 and
