All-Star guard Paul George finally looked like himself scoring 29 points with 8 assists. Star Rookie Jared McCain helped out as well putting in 17 points. While this is a good small stretch for the Sixers there is an underlying major concern. Head Coach Nick Nurse played Jared McCain 0 4th quarter minutes and decided to play Guard Kyle Lowry instead. Nurse went back to his stubborn ways of not playing the younger players down the stretch of the game and it almost cost the Sixers the game. Is this a major problem moving forward?

the Sixers win two games in a row for the first time this season last night and even though it was a good win Paul George scored 29 Points we got to have a conversation about who is holding this team for the first time this for the first time this season Paul George looked like Paul George like I want to be excited about the win because Paul like I said Paul George did look like Paul George finally and Maxi even though having a tough game from the field came on down down the end of the game uh came oh yeah he came on down the stretch of that game and he was able to close it and we all can see that all right Tyrese Maxi is that or has the potential to become a number one option because that last four minutes of the game where he you could tell he was struggling and like something clicked he was like all right I’m just about to take over this game about to end it when the Hornets got too close uh I think he had like he got filed he had like two layups uh it was just something that he was like all right I’m about to end this game I’m not going to let the Hornets come all the way back and Paul George also hit some clutch buckets to where I spoke about it in my uh my sht the other day where he was like all right y’all just let me rock I’ll carry us for now and um I’ll make sure that the Hornets don’t get the lead or like they won’t come fully back and I’m going make sure we don’t lose this game he had like two uh two clutch threes he had an and one so pretty dope to see that Paul George does seem to be getting a rhythm um him and Maxi are starting to build some type of chemistry they had like a lot of plays where they’re both involved in actions that is something that I definitely wanted to see uh moving forward and I’ve been saying it for a while since we sign Paul George I just want to see them get a little chemistry going with each other just to say you know they’re playing off of each other and not just going ISO um and taking turns each time down the floor now the problem right so I don’t even know all right so we could just so Nick nurse doesn’t start Jared McCain again right and I’m just like I’m like all right whatever he started Kelly UB started Caleb Martin I can see division they’re bigger wings like you got Paul George out there you got Maxi there’s no uh there’s no MB Drummond is injured but I’m like all right all the guards are healthy so I was expecting Jared McCain to start whatever but I like I I kind of see the vision um like I said no Joe lmb no Andre jumman you’re not big so you want to get some bigger players out there cool so my fear was KY Larry would come off the bench be the first guard Off the Bench since he was healthy luckily he wasn’t it was Jared mccan he came in he scored 17 points and I’m like all right I’m like all right nurse is learning in my last video I stated like all right just like play the young guys they’re going to give you a bunch of energy yabui played great tonight ADM Bona play uh last night ADM Bona played great um like I said jerem McCain played great Ricky councel gave you some good energy minutes KJ Martin gave you some good energy minutes but playing the young guys just gives you a ton of energy that you would just lack outside of these older guys these older veterans who may have lost a step so whatever Jer McCain like I said comes in just off a winning rookie of the month uh for the months of uh November September November whatever wait yeah whatever November so just just fresh in off of winning rookie of the month comes in scores 17 points was hot from three and I’m like all right like nurse is learning you don’t got to play KY we don’t see Kyle Lowry to the second quarter and we only see him for a little bit of minutes I’m like okay I’m cool with it then the Hornets start their comeback in the fourth quarter and it was mainly because Kyle Lowry was on the floor and my whole thought process was okay jarem MCC I think Jared McCain played the last like six minutes of that third quarter I’m I’m like all right he just has lowan here to give Jared McCain a little break before he comes back into the game Jared McCain ended up getting zero fourth quarter minutes the Hornets come all the way back from down like 15 they end up taking a one-point lead at one point in the fourth quarter and there was just a bunch of plays where Kyle Lowry is involved in where he gets a rebound taken from him he’s not playing a correct defense he bricks a three it’s like every momentum thing you needed well every momentum situation the Hornets needed KY Lowry was a part of that and I just don’t understand nurse’s idea I guess like his thought process I’m going back to the guy that I trust but like the entire season Kyle Lowry has not been good he has not been good in any of the games this season he’s slow he’s unathletic he’s short he can’t rebound he just he he can’t shoot anymore he gives you absolutely nothing on offense he took that one three tonight and it’s like why is he in the game over Jared McCain who is your second leading scorer by the way on a team with Tyrese Maxi Paul George and Joel embiid he is your second leading scorer coming off a rookie of the month why is he not playing in the fourth quarter and in that fourth quarter you could tell what the Hornets were doing were they were selling out to stop Maxi from getting to the room all game so if Maxi would come across the come around the screen they would essentially leave the screener wide open and just say all right Maxi you’re just going to have to pass this ball and they’re going to have to knock that shot down we’re not letting you beat us at the rim and that’s where Paul George came in because he hit those clutch threes but the Hornets were just selling out to stop Maxi and also stop Paul George from getting to the rim so the Sixers needed some spacing it was a lineup of I think Maxi UB Paul George Cayla Martin and yabu it’s not the worst lineup but after Jared McCain has 17 points so Jared McCain was three for four from three last night and you would expect to put him in because mostly a lot of these games he’s been the Sixers best player we could just keep it honest even with Tyrese Maxi on the court he has been the Sixers most consistent best player through this entire season so why not have him on the court and he’s also a floor spacer and he’s also your best three-point shooter why is he not on the court nurse and while the Hornets are coming back and you could see that what they’re doing is just stopping Maxi and Paul George from getting into the room and they’re just allowing everybody else to shoot put your best shooter on the floor but Nick nurse has his stubbornness with playing young guys in crucial situations or honestly playing them at all because like I stated before half of the young guys wouldn’t be playing unless it was was for the injuries right Bona is only playing because joelan B and Andre Drummond are both hurt Ricky Council only played because of that little stretch that the Sixers went on where all the guards were hurt Jared McCain is only playing because earlier in the season Kyle Lowry got hurt he’s only playing these guys because of the other injuries on the Sixers roster he isn’t trying them out he isn’t giving them consistent minutes to see what he has in the younger players he’s just like all right well he’s HTS like the These Guys these other guys are hurt I guess I have to play yall now and you and you see it when they when he does end up playing the younger guys they give the six some energy they give them some uh they give them Buck timely buckets it’s just something that the older guys just can’t give you at this point in their careers so it’s very frustrating um I don’t know what Nick nurse’s thought process was he even gave a quote last night on jerem MC and why he didn’t play and it just didn’t make any sense I’ll read it here for you so said uh Jared McCain was very good Off the Bench performance for him you come in and you need some scoring Off the Bench it was a tough decision we were struggling on the offensive end I was really considering a lot of the fourth quarter of putting him back in there down the stretch just to give us a little more space for Tyreek Maxi and Paul George to operate because they were closing in pretty hard off some of the other guys too bad yaboo had some great looks and couldn’t buy one tonight he was on the receiving end of some uh some of that spacing it made it pretty tough for those guys to navigate a bunch of bodies to play through in the fourth so you see he saw that like they were having spacing problems and that there was closing out on tyres Maxi and well not closing out but they were uh basically stopping tyres Maxi and Paul George from getting to the rim and he still decided to not put Jared McCain in I just don’t understand and and in that fourth quarter Caleb Martin wasn’t G giving you anything you I guess you needed Kelly UB in there to guard Brandon Miller who went off anyway play Jared McCain what’s the issue I I don’t understand and I feel like nurse I’m I’m on the verge of calling for him to be fired I know it’ll be tough after only having him for a season but again the constant with the Sixers team this entire season has been injuries and it’s been lack of coaching and nurse has provided absolutely nothing even on the offensive end they still look bad defensively they still look bad he doesn’t run any sets he ran like a flare screen for Jared McCain last night we didn’t see it again he’s not playing the younger guys you can tell that the younger guys are the future of this team and the key to the Sixers winning games but he’s just so stubborn and so stuck in his ways that he doesn’t care and then he has an attitude after at at every press conference like he doesn’t want to be here if you don’t want to be here then leave but that’s my thoughts on it I’m very close to calling for his
