and hit that subscribe button and I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving uh but there was a crazy rumor on X today I S it made me kind of irritated but then uh it was but I knew it was kind of BS this lovely home here but uh One S juo is the big free agent in this offseason um he’s expected to sign uh during the winter meetings you know belief is he’s going to sign during the winter meetings uh he met with five teams as far as we know the Mets the Yankees the Dodgers the Red Sox and the Blue Jays uh now I did a video on him yesterday discussing the really just giving you an update on it but I did not know the Yankees gave him a a upd their offer so I wanted to sort of clarify that sometimes I don’t get the information right away sometimes a little behind but I catch up um which was interesting that they gave him a another offer so far so we’re like in the phase of the second wave of offers I still believe it’s going to come down in the Mets and the Yankees I don’t believe this rumor that popped up on X about the Red Sox so let me read you a couple tweets and really just one tweet and there was another tweet with another account there a lot of these little uh sort of Munchkin uh reporters on X I’ve been sort of talking about um where Juan soda was going this one account said Juan soda was going to the Mets earlier in the day when that was associated with it and then he said then he backtracked it and then said he was going to De Boston you know let me read you this guy’s from is Mick Beyond average Mick well he’s below average Juan Stone and Boston have agreed to a long-term contract the exact length and money the deal is still in no but I’m told there is no deferred cash Boston’s Rich history Dominican Superstars was the ultimate selling point now the rumor was the rumor was that uh here’s now here’s this is this from a little while ago this is about an hour ago this this tweet and let me read you the tweet that that was precipitated this one which but he had more information so he’s already backtracking this is this is from 10 hours ago I record this video Boys in Red Sox have signed free agent Outfield Juan sto terms of the deal are still unknown but I’m here as 12 years for no deferred money the rum was of 625 so he’s kind of lying expect an official announcement to come within the next few days now the report is he’s now making a decision to the to the with me that’s kind of the MMO of of his agent Scott Boris uh this was going on for hours people were going crazy and it took a couple of other media people the big media people so to talk about this Jeff pan with this out know few hours ago I’m thankful for reporters who don’t make up stories I’m also thankful that wo has not agreed to any contract which means you can get off Twitter and go spend the holiday with your family well Happy Thanksgiving thank you but um this is a situation that uh he’s going to sign with the team that gives him the most money um there’s no doubt in my mind uh he’s not going to take $ one dollar less it’s like last year when people were bragging about how Otani uh took a lesser contract he took the F money BS he took the biggest contract of all time whether he gets it now or in the future he’s still going to make $700 million and Juan sto is going to be the same he turned down a contract three years ago I believe two two seasons ago three seasons ago in the middle of 2022 from the Nationals they were going to give him $440 million and he turned it down he’s going to get the biggest contract in the history of this Sport and that’s what his agent is going to be looking for and any team that’s going to sign him the Mets reportedly are going to up the Anon now a little extra news a little extra thing the Mad Dog Russo uh the Mets had him in a Mee last week at Steve Cohen at Steve Cohen’s mansion in Beverly Hills who knew he had a mansion in Beverly Hills what he does this the only time I’ve heard him going to a mansion of any owner or any executive so that is uh a noteworthy and as you know um he’s very uh into Steve K very into wanting to get to know the players before he signs them so he’s very close with Francisco Lindor it’s a partnership there and I guess he wants to have a partnership with so this is a not a small ticket item this is a big ticket item so like I’ve been saying this is a special player as a special situation uh these players don’t grow on trees these Elite you know potential Hall of Fame players do not grow on treats so that’s the one thing about him that is very that needs needs to be understood is that he’s that great of a player that great of a hitter um he’s going to get a lot of money you know and it is going to basically turn everything upside down in New York the Yankees and the Mets and their relationship and the fans relationship to each other no doubt I don’t think he’s going to the Red Sox because someone mentioned to me the other day uh why would they sign one so this the Red Sox why would they sign one so to this massive contract when they could have signed mookie bet for 325 million a few years ago he’s a homegrown guy he’s one there he knows the terrain now there is belief and I saw this from Bust only that there’s a lot of trepidation by star players because of what happened with Muki bets uh there’s a lot of people that that don’t like the way he was treated there within the indust a lot of the players a little myth by it so but we’ll see you know it’s not the end of the world I would men not the end of the world Mets don’t sign yeah might had two bad players you want to be here I don’t want you here you know you want to take money from somewhere else go ahead but uh you let me know what you think about this video and again thank
