it may be cold outside but that’s not stopping trade rumors for heating up for this New Orleans Pelicans team it’s a couple names a couple guys that I just don’t agree with so we’re GNA break that Pelican scoop like com subscribe y’all know the drill y’all heard the music y’all know my spill all right to give you guys some context to give everybody some context you know the video just started so what’s the context well usually when a team is not doing well when a basketball team is not doing well uh well I’ll just say not meeting their expectations especially severely it’s a lot of trade rumors that are start to swirl right it’s a lot of teams that you know they see a dying ship so let’s try and grab a couple guys that we feel like can you know boost our chances of making it to the finals or deeper in the playoffs right kind of like a farm system but not really so that happens all the time in the NBA and just so happens to be the Pelicans turn right they are they play t night against the Sacramento Kings but this season has been a season from Hell 5 and 20 right they didn’t fire willly green which I thought well maybe you guys had the opportunity they didn’t play play on they they didn’t play all week basically they played on Monday they didn’t play since cuz you know they’ve been doing the NBA tournament so and since it’s been such a long layoff for the team there’s just been nothing but rumors have been swirling right CJ McCullum Brandon Ingram herb Jones Herbert kesan Jones yes ladies and gentlemen Herbert kesan Jones name has been just everywhere right so when you look at this Pelicans roster for adequate pieces that a team championship team would try and pick from you to bring their team to the top other than herb Jones and maybe CJ McCullum to like the Denver Nuggets potentially a team like that or a team that just need as a type of spark you know Brandon eam his name swirling but he’s not really teams are not really checking for Brandon one because you G have to pay him some money right you know that’s in the back of your mind and he’s hurt her Jones on the other hand it’s not first team all defense last year just came back from injury he’s he’s one of those guys if put in the right situation he can elevate your team to the next level he’s one of those pieces that a championship team is looking for to add on to their roster so they can push them over the top now I’m not sitting there saying this is a cosign that saying her Jones is going to be traded or whatnot you know I mean we’re talk about getting traded and rumors swirling but real GM on Twitter came out and said this about her Jones that Pelicans are not looking to trade him even though all day has been flooded you know you got Shams reporting stuff Shams Shams is on a run right now and that’s not in a good way in a bad way Shams is ever since taking off for Wes has not been smooth sailing for him right uh Jimmy Butler agent was going on the other day for putting out some false news so he’s been putting out a a lot of antiel propaganda I’m not saying it’s propaganda cuz a lot of it I can believe especially the Zion Williamson situation hand I believe that 100% because that is just something Zion would do and as six years of knowing the guy that’s exactly that’s that’s part of his character you could tell but he’s been coming out saying all this trade stuff real GM came back said you know pel his sources from the pel they’re not even looking to Dre her Jones so I believe that and honestly if David Griffin wants to sleep well at night don’t do that you trade her Jones this whatever little bit of the fan base that still believes in you Griff or has any type of belief in this regime that’s in in power right now that would be all wiped away you will have nobody in your corner anymore if you remove her Jones from the City of New Orleans simple plain and simple as that Signed Sealed Delivered feel me you trade herb Jones or you even remotely but it’s weird because it’s kind of the problem why I all this time you have and all this time you bring in talent and drafted and whatnot that a guy you got in the second round is your most valuable piece you know Zion is not your most valuable piece anymore teams are Calamity for her Jones now CJ McCullum he can go in and help a contender now I would entertain trading CJ get whatever and CJ’s been playing really well season’s unsalvageable this core is unsalvageable you have to make some type of moves it’s already look like you’re not going to sign brand a want to resignment apparently Brandon e turned down like $50 million he’s ridiculous so I understand I don’t know that’s on him or his agent why he fired his agent or whatever my brother there’s no way you turn down over $200 million trying to get a little bit more change crazy work and you probably would never see that money again so he can kiss that goodbye I see why he got a new agent new representation for turning that type of money down and Griffin David Griffin are you insane for even offering that but oh my goodness so that’s just rumors though that BR could turn that down with some of the rumors that play uh the Miami Heat have been rumored to be the favorite to Lance McCullum I don’t like anything he would have to offer so the heat plus 250 Orlando Magic plus 300 Raptors plus 800 Spurs 900 you know plus 1400 but out of those teams that would look for CJ McCullum maybe the magic Spurs potentially depending on how further they get but they have a lot of young Talent they probably would go forward with that um I really can’t tell you guys I really can’t tell you guys who is looking for who other than I know teams want her Jones right cuz CJ unless it’s some type of like will be to come be on on some type of six-man Road I mean just think of like real contenders right now that will be trying to scout the Pelicans roster because it’s going to happen it’s happens all the times with guys that are on a losing situation that a team V they like well the pelic did for Drew holiday you know getting him out of here getting send him to the Bucks help him win a championship so I I just hope they don’t do that with her Jones but maybe that’s selfish on my end cuz I want herb Jones but I doubt herb Jones even wants to leave anyway herb Jones is New Orleans to the core so I’m not even I’m just reporting what’s going on all right this is not no we got to get rid of her I’m just saying what the media is hot right now guys it’s hot everybody want her I mean why would you not we love herb why would you not want herb Jones in your team so I get it man but it’s heating up out of those three guys get rid of bi get rid of CJ get some picks Zion needs to go us like you can’t lose everybody granted people gonna be like well I bro I just I’m just so tired of this core I just want something new I want something fresh it’s not working it hasn’t worked in six years it’s time to do you know time to it’s time to do that re want it you know it’s time to do that at this point guys the three of Migos man somebody got to go it’s is Jordan Hawkins with Jordan Hawkins leave like what they with the entertained you know packaging Hawkins up in one of these deals too like it’s just it’s a shame that this is the conversation that that we’re having right now in December instead of saying like oh the Pelicans you did you see him in an n Season tournament last night like yeah they might have lost or they might have won you know they look good in the in season tournament whatever they’re still like top five in the west they’re still we got a long season to go you know we we don’t have we don’t have that five and 20 was sitting there looking like okay um which one of these guys is going to have to get traded because other teams are going to be calling they’re going trying to give us some type like you just got to get guys out of here or whose agent is trying to push this player out of here you know Brandon Ingram even though his his time was done once you first of all the fact he even declined that contract $50 million a year right or some close to like 45 50 insane so whatever his representation Rich Paul you got a lot of work to do I’m okay with if you know moving off of CJ and and you know focusing but my thing is with the Pelicans if you’re gonna be if you’re going to make moves or get rid of some of these older guys try and you know clean up some of the money issues or clean up the salary a little bit you got to play the young guys okay stop sending these guys to Birmingham in the G League let’s get them some run Carlo Antonio ree they need to be playing stop stop with this Jamal Kane and bringing guys off the street like you cut out for pton like come let’s get the young gu let’s see what you got especially with Carlo there’s no reason why we don’t even know we have a Carlo yet he’s on a real contract and you just keep sending him back and forth from Birmingham he in Alabama more than a Crimson Tide like come on man that’s just my two cents guys um trade rumors are heating up and they’re going to keep heating up there there going to be hot the deadline so because obviously the Pelicans are not buyers at the deadline they will be sellers or before that they will be sellers somebody’s getting traded regardless so comment now who do you guys think will get traded comment now who you guys want to get traded yes I know y’all we all we want sign it but like be be realistic for a little bit like who do you guys realistically see getting traded I think Brandon I mean not Brandon Hawkins Jordan Hawkins I hate to say it but he might be one of those guys too man especially we learned that he has a a degenerative back issue that he has
