interesting Big 12 game again for the Baylor Bears and the upcoming matchup that they have with the Utah youths uh we look forward to seeing what’s going to happen in uh this one this one at Waco 1:00 central time to Eastern time for Baylor I I’m seeing the wrong one I think we’re going to talk Utah State in Nevada later on in the show we got Utah and Baylor we got both Utah teams playing but let’s talk Utah and Baylor there we go Jeff NAU begin the conversation on what you like here for Utah and the Baylor Bears in Waco this afternoon I like the over uh I thought this total would be more you know mid 150s um fact that I’m getting 153 it’s still about where I’d want it and I’ll take it value-wise I look at both these teams I think offense is is is just in this game you know both these teams play particularly Utah play pretty fast Utah has been really good offensively All Season they’ve really shot the ball well uh 38% from the three-point line and one of the major issues this Baylor team has had their three-point defense has been terrible I mean they’re allowing opponents shoot almost 40% uh this season this hasn’t been a good Bor defense quite frankly in general um throwing the fact on offense they’ve been really good they’ve got a bunch of kids that can really score the basketball this a top 10 offense um I just felt like this was kind of back and forth Utah has the ability to stand this game by shooting the three ball at a high level we know they’re a big group they got a deep team they can kind of throw a bunch of kids at you I just felt like this was kind of a back and forth first 80 wins type of game I thought both these offenses could operate pretty freely in a midday mattina game first conference game for for these teams I believe so I’m going to rock with the over here I thought this was like a an 8277 type of game my mistake interesting that Baylor did play a division 2 Team uh most recently bashed Arlington Baptist 107 to 53 they’ve also beaten Northfolk State and abalene Christian badley all of that since losing to Yukon in a game at uh at Yukon by four all right Matt Cox thoughts including the total on Baylor this is a conference game a Big 12 Conference game on New Year’s afternoon year eve afternoon uh here for the Baylor Bears any thoughts on that 153 total yeah I do kind like the over as well I mean Baylor was a an under darling last conference season I think Scot Drew really had to lean into a short rotation played a lot more Zone like we’ve used to see him do in many years past but I don’t know I think the whole conference game uh playing well to the under is sort of an Antiquated um you know notion that we saw last night Iowa St Colorado they were going up and down like they like they were over in Maui when we saw them play earlier in the season um I love that UT got Caleb loner back the former Baylor Bear now coming over playing a few spot minutes off of his uh his football uh stint um but in general I just think there’s a ton of size for Utah they can get to the glass on the other side you have Jeremy roach back for Baylor LST and love starting to get healthy they got some bodies they actually might be a play a little more Pace than what we’ve seen them play in some big games this season so I’m with Jeff here uh I like Utah as the road dog actually but I do like the over as well 153 mind eight of 10 Bor games have gone over this year so this team’s playing fast this team is um allowing teams to play fast and they’re making a lot of shots so yeah this one should uh this one should be pretty good again it’s a Mata at the Foster Pavilion this afternoon ESPN plus it’s interesting with all the bowl games on that most of these games are going to be on the streaming Outlets uh and again a big 12 opening game for both teams Utah Baylor Jeff is interested in one thing ringing in the new year points and a lot of them over the 153 in Baylor and Utah again thank you for finding us hit the like button get ready for some Q&A which we’ll have time for in a little bit here on the program uh again if you’re just joining us we’re here on New Year’s Eve we will not be here New Year’s Day there are not games we will be back on Thursday and Friday as you see on the screen typically Monday through Friday 1100 a.m. eastern time and you may hear a little ambient noise around me at Raymond James Stadium as the Alabama Michigan college football game is got about to be played here uh in about 50 minutes [Music]
