about Idaho State way back at the beginning of the show total 136 and Corby Craigs got the official play all right what is the official play here tonight for this matchup yeah I’m I’m glad did uh on Wednesdays we have a decent showing you know 340 live followers to watch Matt and I talk about Youngstown State in the Idaho State game I know that’s exactly what everybody wants um but everybody knows why we’re here so I’m excited to do and bet the over 136 here I think it’s 137 now uh I’m gonna bet the over here a few things first off Idaho States point guard basically their best player um Dylan darling is probably going to be out he’s spray his ankle I believe that was December 8th seventh um so basically been two weeks it’s possible he’s back I I don’t imagine he is back um and what that happens is like a lot of people would worry okay your best players out um how are you gonna score and in most cases I would agree with you but I don’t think Dylan darling is as much a scorer as he is as I talked about in the last game a Tempo Setter like this is a guy who wants to set up the offense wants to run an offense he had 10 assists in his last game like he is a true fundamental point guard and it’s what makes Idaho state 330th in the nation in tempo so now you take out the starting point guard you put in a uh aot I think that they’re going to play the shooting guard at point so like they’re not even going to run a traditional Point we’ve seen Utah Valley has a full-court press to throw they’ve thrown it at a few teams this year they Tred to speed up West Georgia with it they Tred to speed up Sanford with it which was uh not a good idea they lost 8476 but they have a full-court press that looks pretty decent and I would imagine if you know that the team’s not going to have the best their point guard you throw a full court press at him TJ and that’s going to speed this game up I see kenpom says 67 possessions I at 70 and a half which I don’t know how you get half possession but I am at 70 and a half I lean towards the over bet the over 136 here uh Utah Valley Idaho State you have been taking overs unsuccessfully you have been Captain under on this show so were you TJ were you were you teetering back and forth about what to do on this game or did you just love that you loved that number there was never a teeter I I I bet what my number tells me some years it says under some years say overs and it’s done well for me both ways for years so not too worried about it um and again uh before this right now live on BET us it’s gone up to 138 so uh we often talk about this that we enter in all of the prices uh all of the uh spreads Etc about 45 minutes before the show so graphically you can see all of this and sometimes it doesn’t benefit the handicappers but you’re locked in at 136 what it was a little while ago and if it’s now 138 so be it Matt Cox thoughts maybe something on the side again Utah Valley is the short favorite this one at 7 Mountain Time 9 eastern time and any thoughts here uh tough handicap here Idaho St off a big win against Walla Wala 97 of 43 over the weekend that was a game that Dylan darling uh I believe missed so the game before that they played Oral Roberts uh team they played close and then extended l i mean ID state was really good right they had those all those really good close games against big teams in November then they kind of uh they laid an egg at South Dakota and then they got right against or Roberts I think they’re a good team they’re really big they’re awesome on the glass but the problem is Utah Valley is huge they got two Welling brothers from UC Irvine um coming off missions they also have um I’m blanking on their other big guy name uh Ethan Potter uh 68 big guy who I believe is out again tonight he’s been out with the concussion still Utah Valley very good in the glass that’s where Idaho state has been successful dominating teams I’m not sure they have that edge tonight I like the the the spot for Idaho State getting a team coming uh from the C time zone to the West kind of an awkward travel for Utah Valley All Things Considered uh but again I didn’t want to lay it because I do think the matchup uh there there’s some both teams negate each other with what they have up front and you hit with Utah Valley against North Dakota we’re going to probably talk about North Dakota here in a few minutes yes right you hit with at home the road yeah and now they’re back on the road here tonight in this matchup and Corby Craig is looking for some points or enough points get over 136 in the total I’m looking to see if that is ESPN plus worthy tonight for Idaho State and um Utah Valley I think it is for tonight I’m looking to double check on where we can see that game seems like everything else is on the streaming app uh tonight uh yes that one is ESPN plus the ICC uome hella Idaho tonight 7 local time 9 eastern time for Idaho State and Utah Valley all right [Music]
