Utah heads to UCF and currently uh UCF is a n and a half Point home favorite n and a half over Utah I mean that is just bananas these two teams have uh have fallen off drastically they’re both four and seven no bowl game in the plans for either one of these but um 9 A2 for UCF is is pretty well total of 47 A2 this is interesting you got number 52 and PPA margin against number 69 my number on this currently has UCF by 6.25 my spread based on the last four weeks of stats has Utah favored by 7.7 points make that make sense again it’s just taken the the stats from the last four weeks and picking a winner so it’s a very limited sample size but you get the point looking at the full season Utah’s defense is still really really good and they are really good at defending the rush right number eight in rushing success allowed number 18 in PPA allowed for Rush UCF is number 11 and number six in those metrics so they’re pretty good now rushing explosiveness Utah has allowed some explosive runs uh UCF is number 19 in that metric so you look at offensive line yard stuff rate uh UCF number three and offensive line yards number 20 and stuff rate Utah’s Defense number four and number two now Utah’s defense has not been the problem Utah’s offense is the problem number 117 PPA per Rush number 109 in PPA per pass they are number 121 in offensive success rate it is so bad I mean Andy lwig just up and resigned in the middle of the Season like it was it was terrible um and it’s still bad so neither team great as far as points per scoring opportunity uh Utah’s defense does not allow teams to finish drives very often so that is something to pay attention to because UCF even though they’re number 20 in scoring opportunities per game they get inside the opponent 46.73 times per or 6.73 drives per game but they’re number 72 in points per scoring opportunity they they can’t seem to finish and when you look at it number 57 in offensive red zone conversion percentage Yeah it’s just it’s not great it’s not great um I I think this is too many points like I know that we want to write off Utah and whatnot but they certainly showed a good effort last week against Iowa State granted that was at home I know they’re traveling a long ways here I still think nine and a half might be a Touch Too Much so we will roll with the Utes on this one thanks for listening to winning cures everything make sure and follow me on Twitter @gary WCE if you want to toss in a question you can email me Gary winning cures everything.com make sure and hit that subscribe button and we’ll see you next time
