[Music] the Warriors Hockey Club in asigo battle it outs in the Caroline cup semi-finals at the All Season’s ice rink in Aurora the winner advances to play the Neighborville Hockey Club in the finals next week the Warriors have a new look this season with players from Wheaten North and Wheaten South joining the team The Warriors start off Strong James Naf singer dishes it to Blake cesarone who shoots and scores the Warriors lead one nothing about 4 minutes in oigo is on the attack and Noah Rodriguez fires from the left wing but Warrior goalie Shawn devalk easily soaks it up working behind goal Warrior Colton Richardson gets the puck in front of the Nets where Max alond gets denied but scores off his own rebounds a great play in front gives the black and blue a two nothing lead the Warriors keep pushing on offense with Naf singer rifling the shots on Nets but it’s sent into the glove of asigo goalie Shawn mcginness igo’s Kevin Bowmont has the puck from behind the goal line and sauces a pass towards the crease Kevin Dunham is in front and the puck bounces off a player and in for the goal asigo trims the deficit to one with 826 left in the first into the second period the Warriors work into the offensive zone loaden lanam fires from the left wing but once again mcginness makes the save for asigo into the final 5 minutes of the second Ethan Newberg centers one to Joe panowski who one times it past the goalie the black and blue go ahead 3-1 looking to add to the lead before the intermission Michael chir gets the puck back for the Warriors he tow drags then puts the puck on a platter to ninger who puts it past the goalie to give them a 4-1 lead Elijah holahan adds another goal in the third to give the Warriors a 5-1 win over asigo for a seven straight season the Warriors Hockey Club advances to the Caroline Cup finals will they’ll face the Neighborville hockey club on Tuesday night you know I think we did good you know going into the intermission we were up 2 to one coach told us make some adjustments and after that we capitalized we uh scored three un answer to close out the game I think I did good you know I think I bared down one some loose battles and just right in front of the net I capitalized off that uh I did pretty well uh I I think I had two points so I think it’s really important for me to be a leader on the team and you know put the Pucks in the net as uh I’m an assistant Captain so I think it’s really important to to be a leader and have those points for our team I think we did pretty well uh obviously we’ve been winning this uh series for the last few years with this club so we wanted to come in and get this up you know that’s what we did today [Music]
