I was completely wrong about the Kansas City Chiefs today on Christmas by the way merry Christmas hopefully you guys had some great holidays but I was wrong about this Kansas City Chiefs team now what I mean by that is coming into this game specifically I thought that you know the Chiefs have won some really tight games as of late I feel like a team like the Pittsburgh Steelers who have one of the best defenses in football could maybe come out here and surprise the Chiefs a little bit but again I was completely wrong from this game and I do want to apologize I’m done doubting Patty Mahomes and I’m done doubting the Chiefs they’re they’re insane okay now look at this first play that I want to break down they’re in 12 Personnel you guys don’t understand Personnel uh we can break it down real quick 12 Personnel 11 personnel 21 Personnel there’s more right but that first number is always going to initiate or tell you how many running backs in the back field and the second number is going to tell you how many tight ends are on the football field as well so right here we get this typical 12 Personnel one running back two tight ends but now we’re going to notice that Xavier Worthy is in the backfield someone who is an absolute Swiss army knife get the man the football and he’ll create some magic right so what we’re going to do is actually have these tight ends attack vertical okay so what that does is push these these second and third level Defenders back instead of right as we have this swing Rowe if we had a little out this guy would already be attacking in that direction but instead said we’re going to have them attack vertical get them up the field to push back those safeties and those linebackers more and we’re just going the whole time we’re just swing this out cuz we know Xavier worthy can make a man miss an open field and boom right Dives in for the end or dives into the end zone for a touchdown again I apologize I was wrong about this team I thought the Steelers were going to come in here surprise some people and defensively lock him down no not at all did they have any chance to win this game they have any chance to stop this team to be quite honest and in this video I wanted to break down not only some of my favorite plays from this offense but from the defense as well so before we dive into the video hit that like button if we get over 600 likes on this video we will be posting a part two tomorrow breaking down even more film with the all 22 coaches film so you guys want the part two hit the like button let’s get right into today’s video now speaking of the defense let me actually take myself off the screen so you guys can see this a little bit better so we’re going to be running these you know we’re trying to get up the field here right we’re running a kind of a Crosser of the middle uh by Pat Fruth now the one guy we want to read here as a quarterback is Justin Reed you can already see starting to cheat over to George pick inside the reason being is because the Steelers are in this yes no offense with Russell Wilson so whenever you see press man coverage here to the bottom side and then you have one high safety in this case they have two this is your red Defender if he bites up you’re throwing this football no matter what right if he bites to the right now you have this route with PA R MTH that you absolutely love so as we watch this play break down we’re going to get a fake toss crack to the right we’re going to drop back maybe a three-step drop plant hitch up in the pocket we’re going to throw the ball of the middle and again the first thing he’s looking at is Justin Reed once he sees that Justin Reed’s going to cheat over to George picked ins side this turns into a yes no re and he’s going to throw this football no matter what because we love whatever this is right whether it’s uh versus Leo Chanel or Nick Bolton whoever it may be right he likes that matchup throws it Justin Reed reads the quarterback’s eyes whenever you’re a Zone Defender right and specifically the entirety of this play all these guys are in zone so their job is to read Russell Wilson look at where he’s looking because for the majority of games majority of quarterbacks that you play the the quarterback will tell you where they want to go with the football after he looks off Justin Reed he immediately looks at Pat fryth and throws it no matter what right great job by Justin Reed absolute dog easy interception I mean they were in the Red Zone they could have made this a one possession game right but no Justin Reed says Nope not doing that to me this was a this was a great play and it looks like you have you know George pickings on the slow out they’re trying to get him to fully bite down opening up this second level of the defense doesn’t work at all man does not work at all Russell Wilson stares it down makes a big mistake in this game and definitely helped out the Chiefs all right another big time play by the defense they’re going to be in or the offense is going to be in a a slide to the right so basically the left guard over all going to slide to this side of the field which is going to leave that b Gap open for Nick Bolton to attack they’re going to say oh Jaylen Warren we’re going to need you to block that and then we’re going to get one-on ones pretty much everywhere else besides Wharton right um Turk is going to initiate a little bit of a double team here just you know very slowly but what he’s going to do is continue to work and I guess they don’t even really double team but we see the center just not doing anything because we’re going to reach the point of attack with this guy right here right we’re going to Boom reach the point of attack get the uh the center Zack Fraser to kind of overcommit leaving a one-on-one over here we got a one-on-one there we got a one-on-one here and as the Chiefs we will take one-on ones everywhere if we can and that’s kind of what they draw up to guys not doing anything on this play a beautiful job by you know Turk just fighting and fighting this guy’s been a menace think about it no Chris Jones today and they were still able to generate pressure on Russell Wilson and never allow him to feel comfortable in that pocket this is a big big reason they were able to win this game now before we finish off this video we have a couple more I want to break down do me a favor hit that like button just so we can get this video to more Chiefs fans and if you want the part two but more importantly make sure you guys subscribe to right reaching that point of attack getting the Right Guard in the center to overcommit when he’s not blitzing at all now we leave that one1 with Turk and man if you have a one-onone with Turk that’s going to be a field day for him every single day of the week let’s go all right another good play by the offense here break down this and they’ll probably call it a day I do want to save the majority of the film for the all 22 coaches film so we’re going to see a slide initial slide to the right and then we’re going to slide and then get back to the left with the center um just because we do not want to leave one on once right so we’re going to hedge or chip with the running back on the man side and then the center is going to block right slide left um after the play is initiated just to help out now when you have a guy like Pat Mahomes who can you know what do you what do you call it extend plays or uh turn nothing into something that’s when you know you’re probably one of the best football teams in the NFL when you have a GU Like Pat Mahomes the receivers that he has and also the defense that they have this team is unreal right so he gets out out of the pocket he continues to look down the field he never panics he never um you know throws a makes a bad decision he’s calm right and his wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins Justin Watson Travis Kelce they continue to move they don’t give up on a play so as you see Kelsey run this route he’s going to get behind the defense and because momes is you know out outside the pocket he gets these second level Defenders to kind of bite up and trust me it will be easy to see when we get that all 22 coaches film but then he kind of throws crossbody on the run down the field for a wide openen touchdown here for Travis Kelce now personally I didn’t love this because I’m going up against him in a championship in fantasy so that definitely didn’t help my case but what it did do is cement the Chiefs are the best team in football I I don’t care what anyone says anymore I am done doubting them I’m done I’m I’m not going into a week saying the Chiefs are going to lose not going to weeks saying they might lose I’m over they’re
