he said cury trained today so his rehab is going really well he was able to do certain things last week with the physial and trained on the pitch this week with us and today so he’ll be in the squad tiny not yet he had a couple of sessions with the team but he’s not yet ready to be with the team Tommy ASU is going to be out for a while for a bit go sorry he’s going to be out as well for a bit he’s going to be very he’s going to be away now for a few weeks for him to continue with his training and to change his environment a little bit because he been really tough for him as you could imagine so that screams to me either you’re going to go on a sunny holiday maybe like Dubai and work with some specialist physio or you’re going to go back you’re going to be given a training program maybe certain you know dialogue with facilities in Japan and you’re going to spend time in Japan Tommy Yu is going to be out for a bit so I don’t think we’re seeing Tommy Yu for what’s left of 2024 Benjamin white probably not the same tiny seems to be getting ever closer but still not quite there um he’s one of the guys where the only thing he wants to do is to work 24 hours to get better and he feels terrible when he’s not fit so it’s a shame we’re going to have to give him the best opportunity to try and unlock something to help him to have him back as quickly as possible but I think we need to be patient so where’s the stuff on on benj benjin white Benjamin White’s had knee surgery and Mikel Arta did say he’d be out for weeks people on Ben White Ben is going to be out for months it’s been a different kind of struggle it’s never been the same thing but we had to make a decision in the last few weeks unfortunately we know Ben is going to push every boundary but it got to a point where we had to protect the player we decided to do surgery he agreed with that and obviously it will keep him out for a few months we have to see how he reacts post surgery I don’t expect him to be out for half a season or a year but I cannot tell you how long we’ve gone over Tommy asutin and Cal Fury obviously on the mood in the camp I think about everything that we’ve done is the reason that we haven’t won games because the opponent has been Superior to us the clear answer is no but then that annoys me a lot more because if we play to our full capacity and you said we that’s why we lost and again on the day Bournemouth and Newcastle were better than us but were we necessarily second best against Liverpool for 90 minutes Manchester City for 90 minutes Chelsea for 90 minutes bornou for 90 minutes Newcastle for 90 minutes I think Bournemouth and Newcastle was a case of you just simply didn’t turn up but I don’t know people and that’s even more damning when you’re trying to fight for a title personally people um should we have one more of these games the answer is yes do I like what our team is doing the answer is yes but we have to improve certain things especially how we have defended at attacking the box so football’s one or lost in both ends we ain’t defended well which is down to the players and art we haven’t attacked well I think the attacking issues is mainly art if I’m honest with you I can’t lie to you I think it is I think it’s how he set up the team I think it’s how he’s gone about things defensively the players as well as art have probably dropped off a cliff but I I I’m more harsher in the attacking sense overall I can think of a lot of things but I need to understand how the players are and the only way to do that other than communicating on on the phone is when they come back and the energy of the staff and the Players yesterday was unbelievable that’s the joy of being with these guys on this journey they love being here they love to be back with us and that brings energy straight away there’s not so much that I need to do it’s always good to paint the picture and make sure that we’re on the right track so our form’s been on the floor obviously some players haven’t played during the international period some players are lacking Fitness more than others some have played and they’re probably a bit leggy obviously there’s a traveling aspect for a number of players so it’s probably a mixed bag going into tomorrow’s game against Forest if I’m honest with you Guardiola signed a new deal that’s a myth that’s a myth for us to speak about on if it’s good for our title Ambitions we can only do what is up to us and we have to be out of very best to try to achieve what we want but the others can too it’s not our decision Mikel Arta has reached 250 games as our manager and he said obviously he’s grateful he’s enjoyed it and what not people on forest’s form he’s obviously going to say they’ve been good which they have a spirito Santo the caching staff the players they’ve done everything they need to do so we don’t need to go over that on us being unbeaten at home boy we’ve had some near misses at the Emirates Liverpool I would say more so Southampton and Leicester we love playing at the Emer we know that we have a unique atmosphere feel with our supporters there again the way I saw the team the last 48 hours I’m confident that tomorrow we will go all out to try and win the game obviously big up our tech for 250 games on whether his aim is to now add trophies let’s see if you answer this I want you to that is not the only one we have to maintain a lot of things that you do sometimes you achieve them but they can drop very quickly so it’s maintaining them and that’s the work we have to do consistently every single day but now it’s about winning and that’s the next step for sure so that’s the last sentence it’s about winning and that’s for sure so one love for the rebuild Mikel Arta it’s irrelevant now and it isn’t just the only thing but everything we’ve done is geared to winning we’re Arsenal Football Club we’ve got rid of certain players brought certain players in patterned up the wages doing other things off the field you know the atmosphere the things Mikel Arta is mocked for the light bulb the dog called win the Pick Pockets going to buy the list are endless this is all geared with winning because I like how the fact that we’ve rebuilt but if football ends tomorrow 20 plus years at the Emirates nothing of significance not to belittle the fa cups and it’s nice to be in the race for the champions league and the Premier League and all those things but if you don’t bring it home it doesn’t mean anything man really and truly best question what does what does not the only one mean he needs to show us to be fair he does need to show us I don’t think he means it in the way we’re going to take it and that trophies are everything I think he wants to you know Trophies the mentality Mak sure Arsenal are ticking on ticking over in a positive sense across all aspects of the football club and to leave a legacy but how do you leave a legacy that’s winning things really and truly on the significance of tomorrow in the next six weeks it’s about building momentum getting results and getting back-to-back wins that would again create the energy that we need with all of the good things that we’re doing are we really doing good things and reality is like I said you know come to 2021 game mark it could be a lot different but what we’ve got not in the forest which on paper is a massive job and I don’t look at the league table but if they win where they go ahead of us where somebody told me they only ahead of them on goal difference so you’ve got a tough not in Forest I what Tuesday Wednesday forgive me if I’m wrong we will be doing a watch along you’ve got Sporting Lisbon away last two trips to Portugal have not been kind to us last three times we’ve played Portuguese sides haven’t exactly been kind or at least three of the last four and then you’ve got man united under Ruben Amarin which new manager bounce we’ve been there so it’s now time to put up and sharpen you know the we can talk about these last four games and people can look to yeah we’ve had a tough start to this season and they’re right you know but I’m sure every fan base could look at a particular fixture list and say oh that’s the one everyone’s got to play each other twice in it we still got to go anfield still got to go Old Trafford you know still got to play another North London Derby still got to welcome Chelsea you know still got to go to Forest away as well which isn’t playing Sal for us by any stretch of the imagination still got to do things like Crystal Palace so and we’ve got a quarterfinal coming up soon so we’re going to have to stand up to be counted so it is about wi getting backto back wins getting that winning mentality or that winning feeling back and crucially what I think he said there and building momentum on the last two months I know from my insides why for that when I plan the season and I have a start and finish it’s a journey we will go traveling on the bus together it’s going to be bumpy self-inflicted you know we’re purposely driving into potholes which anyone has drove a car knows that’s silly there’s going to be bad weather things are going on my my thing is how I’m going to navigate how I’m going to make the others navigate in the midst of all of that because it’s going to happen it’s guaranteed that it’s going to happen unless we become invincible we’ve done it before and win every game and then fine we didn’t have to go for it but in the way that I predicted the season it was going to happen was I expecting as many things that have happened no but I love how the team reacts and how the club reacts when there are difficulties we’ve gone over Benjamin white but we do know it is a challenge it was something they didn’t expect you have to expect the unexpected because if I go back through the season when you were speaking about our injury concerns you spoke about how unique it was to keep celba Benjamin white and Gabrielle fit so I’m not sure people um because when we talk about consistency and availability in the defensive line Ben was probably the best with Gabby and Willow so well yeah you know our left backs pick up a lot of injuries all the options over there so we’ll miss him but that’s it we’re going to have to find alternative so expect to see Thomas par at fullback at some point again that’s it but there are a lot of positives as well because Declan is back Bayo is back jurian is in a good place because he could not play the last game Leo came back in a good place Ricky’s back after missing five or six weeks that’s a lot of players and that’s good news we’ve gone over that we can’t avoid injury so there’s no point on whether he sees similarities to last season which improved after a trip to Dubai it was not because of Dubai that would be too simple it’s because I’m looking back at all the games I look at all the positions in the Premier League and what they’re doing just to understand the context that we’re in and how good we are in relation to the opposition I’m very confident that when this team finds a bit of consistency and a bit of normality it’s going to come on what is the key to finding consistency availability but gaffer I hear that and of course you probably didn’t no one expects these injuries but you know Thomas par is an anomaly this season normally he’s a given Kieran is not part of the team but he gets injuries zenchenko gets injuries you know Benjamin white we know we’ve you know been playing him into the ground the same with sacko we know if something happens to Dean rice we’re in issues so a lot of this is we know it’s going to rain and we’ve done you know we know in a week it’s going to rain we’ve just been going about our lives not bought an umbrella not bought a rain jacket not put any sort of protection against this and now we’re crying it’s dead and when is this availability going to happen and also you know availability is one thing but the players you’re putting out there on a consistent basis in terms of winning titles I’m not even criticizing them but it’s issues on whether there’s any margin for error left it’s much smaller obviously when you see the consistency in terms of the results that Liverpool are having making exceptional improvements and results but we are there we have played against them and we have seen where we are in relation to them so that gives me a lot of confidence we’ve gone over the owner thing we’ve gone over my man stepping up listen big up raer Nadal for retiring but we only care about Arsenal um again he didn’t give us any Clarity on Tommy yasu we have gone over Martin oard shout out to Pep Guardiola but that’s got nothing to do with us um we know we missed Martin old Elli where you know the Timbers the Calif Furies the the the teis whoever’s at left back yes these are factors but Martin Elli just needs to improve his decision making off his own back do we expect part A playing as a right back on Saturday honestly I don’t know man there’s a good chance I believe you could see Timber and Cal Fury or you know regardless of who starts I do think you’ll be you’ll
