be talking about youtube.com thee colge experience remember uh happy early Thanksgiving uh as we got just uh just a slew of football game slew of it’s Feast week in college basketball too make sure you check out the college basketball experience uh for every single game every single night we’re talking all of that you mix those two things in you got everything else you got D2 D3 FCS playoffs NAIA playoffs NFL I mean NHL NBA I mean [ __ ] everything right everything’s rolling right now um I it’s it’s it’s just a great time of year and and college football obviously the 12 team playoff is upon us 12 team Invitational and it’s going to be chaos as we saw this past Saturday I can’t wait to talk all about it if you’re wondering who the hell you’re listening to my name is kby swing at dad to Bas Dad aka pick d d That’s not a pick this is a pick he was raised in the land down under where a man thinks on his feet speaks with his fists and lives by his wits when D happened he was a superstar I’m probably drinking too much and celebrating too much and not sleeping would have killed a normal man but now that’s gone medical advice I got from that was was like being hit by lightning pretend it never happened and get on with your life oh boy I had just maybe the best Saturday of the whole damn season I had some good Saturdays too this year but when you’re hitting on double digigit dogs like Oklahoma and Florida and then App State BC and these small yappers are hitting too um it it was just an unbelievable day my East Carolina Pirates down 21 no problem uh Arizona State I had a bunch of money on you we had multiple field storming in mult in the same game yes Oklahoma and Arizona State stormed the field twice twice uh fantastic stuff and I am joined by my co-host give it up for the DFS God himself and how about our Devin Neil play in the DFS front he had like 10,000 yards yeah you didn’t roster him did you I didn’t no I didn’t I should have all right give it up for the rooftop IPA drinking home brew making Tobacco Road living the free lock giving farmer Farmer her the basketball league MVP good up for NC Nick in the place to be there we go what’s going on man what’s going on is college football’s incredible um what a Saturday what a fantastic weekend I mean I went I think you know on the betting front I also had a very nice Saturday I think went 10 and four on my locks you know best best weekend of the year but put that aside just like college football in general it what a fantastic day even with like the two Darlings Indiana and army not showing up and and not offering a very good game even even with those two being Clunkers it was still a terrific Saturday and this coming week it’s going to be more the same I knew Oklahoma was live man I just knew venables you give him two weeks to prep for Milow and and multiple times we’ve seen even in the South Carolina game I thought even though Bama ended up winning that and they really only won that in my opinion because they got up to a 14 nothing lead on the first two possessions after that I feel like South Carolina dominated that game um it was just uh it was a great spot to me I don’t think Alabama’s that good of a team I think they’re very one-dimensional this year and when you sit back and can have two weeks to to Really three weeks if you add in the main game you know what I mean like you can really just sit there and focus what are we gonna do to limit Jaylen milro but uh yeah just a phenomenal week he had Florida against Old Miss we always knew Old Miss was was was fake yep um saw from a mile away now though you got to ask yourself uh what’s what’s and shout out to the ACC potentially you could have a situation me and Patty C were working through this imagine SMU wins imagine Miami wins next week Imagine Clemson beat South Carolina there might be a shot of three ACC teams in this thing that I I mean it’s there a shot definitely uh first off they need to win first and I it wouldn’t surprise me if Miami drops a game to Syracuse if SMU drops the game who do they have again yeah exactly and then Clemson could easily drop the game to South car 100% that one might be the most important one just to help the narrative that the SEC while still the best conference in college football is not just head and shoulders above everybody else because they aren’t um first off there’s no teams Head and Shoulders above anybody else um let alone a conference that’s head and shoulders I still think like I said last week the SEC is the best conference in football this year but it’s not like they’re loaded with great teams U they’re they’re they’re loaded with at pretty good teams you know uh but I mean we can get into what our thoughts on the playoff should be and you know what we think is going to happen tomorrow not tomorrow but Tuesday when the rankings come out but uh it it’s sure I mean with with some of those losses it definitely open the door for maybe some more ACC teams or I even heard somebody saying maybe a second uh G5 to Lane that’s why they’re on the graphic they play a huge game on Thanksgiving that’s right I don’t know if I’m going to buy that I still think the that be will not let that happen yes but they probably should like T Lane got robbed against Kansas State much like South Carolina got robbed against LSU and both those games should have resulted in wins for the team that lost if you if you really get down to the final plays of the game yeah um I I highly doubt they do like two group of fives because the powers that be but exactly what I thought and I’m going to start doing it already I think it’s a great step forward for expansion I love it sure yeah how pissed are Alabama fans gonna be when they’re not in or om Miss fans I mean they should not be in but we’ll see you is there any chance they put Old Miss Bama in yes Bama with three losses two of them to six and six teams potentially well I mean what if some of those ACC teams drop the games in the final week uh what happens to the loser of Championship Games is will the committee hold that against the team they shouldn’t that should not count as a loss a championship game should not like go to your record but we were talking about this because I think they’re on record of saying they’re going to Value it more championship game appearances this coming year which makes it I can paint a crazy scenario for you where Texas A&M beats Texas in College Station they go to take on the winner of that plays in the in the SEC championship against Georgia so you could have a scenario of A&M upsets Georgia or I’m sorry I’m sorry if Georgia beats A&M in the SEC Championship where you would have a four loss A&M team in the college football playoffs okay so they’re going to Value getting to a championship game yes they’re not gonna devalue a team because they get another l in a championship game and that would be a fascinating one because it’s like do you put Texas in there with two less losses even though they have a direct loss to A&M first off I don’t think they should do that I think with an baled schedule with how big these conferences are I don’t think getting to a conference Championship should give you any more uh value or any you know I don’t think that gives you a better resume just because you had an easier schedule to get there now obviously if you win the conference Championship game that means a lot and you get your tiet your ticket punched automatically but yeah with unbalanced schedules which we see basically in every conference you know I don’t think just getting to the championship game should give you a better resume what are your I think yeah I mean but there there this is why you shouldn’t have championship games then I mean I I I they’re not going to go away because they make too much money for the sport but at the same time like an 18 team conference or 17 team conference is [ __ ] stupid in its own right just just based on the fact you you have a 12 game season and chances are you chances are you will not get the best two teams in that conference Championship and they’re going this is only going to be a problem especially if even more so if Florida State and Clemson should end up in other conferences but um even with the way it is right now it’s going to be an issue unless the SC that’s why another reason why the SEC should go to nine conference games so we know a little bit more yeah um but uh that’s not gonna happen either there’s talk of that potentially happening we’ll see because I think they might if they get a four imagine if A&M wins the [ __ ] thing with three losses yeah then they’re in automatically and then what do you do with with Texas I mean that’s the thing that’s going to be fascinating you’re going to see the corruption which is why you need you need to expand it way more than 12 if if Texas gets in with their best win being six and six V Vanderbilt yeah I mean that’s going to be incredible they have the worst man did you see the thing I tagged you in Texas is the only team in the SEC that hasn’t played two SEC teams with a winning record even UMass has played two SEC teams with a winning record but I still think Texas deserves to be in this if they if they lose to A&M I don’t think they do but if they beat A&M oh yeah 100% yeah if they lose to A&M then it gets pretty darn dicey because they’re them a two- loss team but you have to look at what happens with the rest of the teams I mean should should Texas go in over a one loss Miami or SMU team no no but what if one or both of those lose next week well yeah I mean everything else matters what if Notre Dame loses to USC there’s a lot of what ifs essentially you know is fantastic that’s and that’s why next Saturday is GNA or next Friday Friday and Saturday and all the weekday games on a you know smaller scale that’s why this week is going to be awesome because there’s so there’s so many meaningful games still how many potential teams do you think are still alive with one week to go to make well we have eight in the wait was it yeah eight and the Big 12 are still alive right because so many teams are still alive to get to the conference Championship Game punch their ticket so you eight in the Big 12 uh obviously Oregon Pinn State Ohio State Indiana that’s four am I forgetting one in the Big 10 besides that um I think it’s just down to four right yeah I think so I mean so that’s 12 uh Boise two lane Army would be theoretically 15 Notre Dame 16 I would say UNLV is in that mix too yeah UNLV 17 uh especially because Colorado State lost so 17 right there uh then the ACC has what four three three right yeah so that’s 20 you got three in the SEC Tennessee would be four actually that would be 24 so what 24 teams right now alive to make the playoffs I would say even more than that you only had three in the SEC well no four uh you have Texas Texas S&M Georgia and Tennessee oh yeah if you had Alabama and old there yeah yeah 30 teams that still have a chance at making the 12 team playoffs so fantastic it’s going to be a great Saturday or Friday or whatever like I said so uh we it’s gonna be interesting what happens Tuesday because you know like for example right now in in the rankings that came out last week Indiana was above Alabama and Old Miss so all three of those teams losing you would still think Indiana is still above those teams right yeah you would think but how far do all those teams drop back I mean I think they probably Dro back six or seven spots but like Indiana was at five b was at seven Old Miss was at nine but teams like BYU A&M Colorado 14 15 16 they all lost also so they can’t they’re not going to fall back that far they’re going to be right around that number 12 you know it’s GNA be fascinating and then like I mean is Missouri or Illinois even completely out of it yet you know I mean they they’re both three lost teams I think I think they I mean well I’m saying like well like what happens I mean theoretically like if if the Big 12 eats itself up right yeah where that’s a one- bid league and and it’s probably goingon to be a one bid league but it’s potential still too um what happens if uh you know Boise Lo championship game but UNLV drops to Nevada I mean there’s a lot of of scenarios here Clemson let’s say let’s say Clemson beats South Carolina but loses to uh SMU or something in the in the ACC Championship and Miami loses at Syracuse there could be a bunch of situations where you’re sitting there saying you yeah I mean I think you still need like Bama and all Miss to all to lose again next Bama plays Auburn I don’t feel great about possible for sure it’s possible I mean those teams would need like everybody in front of them to lose um so while it’s possible it’s probably unlikely and let’s hope there’s one argument for for no further expansion is that Missouri and Illinois don’t really belong in a playoff you know true but I mean well [ __ ] at this point if you’re if you’re if Notre Dame loses to USC I’m sorry they don’t belong in the [ __ ] playoffs yeah I mean with with the teams they’ve beat but they’re still they’ be sitting at two lost team and they would still get in I think Notre Dame so I I would Lobby for Illinois to get in over over Notre Dame uh one I they have one additional loss they’ve played a tough schedule yeah a way tougher schedule but Notre Dame now has beaten who they have beaten A&M Louisville Army you’re starting to rack up Army and Navy like don’t even have [ __ ] scholarships it’s like I understand like it’s great stories I understand but last week we were saying they should have been ranked higher but you’re telling me if Illinois plays Army you feel good about Army when that game no not at all I don’t either I don’t either yeah I think Illinois would win that game um I mean you could pick any team like in from 10 to 15 and have them play a team ranked from like 40 to 45 and I wouldn’t feel that great about that team winning because that’s parody in college football now where there’s a a small difference between a team that is you know ranked 15th in these college football rankings and a team that would be ranked 30th or something yeah yeah um anyway let’s get into it um but uh I want to tell you first you’re listening to the college football today at at Tulsa what are what’s the deal with all these secondy year firings I don’t understand yeah yeah like look Tulsa we thought was going to be better this year and uh we thought Kevin Wilson was a pretty good head coach and he had a pretty solid year one and they were going to get some momentum into year two that didn’t happen Tulsa was bad this year but just two years I mean that’s how you that’s how closly you’re supposed to turn around a bad program now it’s that’s tough man I was talking to Phil steel about this too like in the off in August we were talking about Tulsa and uh he was saying you know Wilson’s good hire but he’s and he goes he’s going to need some time because he’s he’s doing it on the recruiting Trail yeah he’s not really using the portal he’s going the recruiting trail and I think this might be a a future warning for college coaches that do believe in the recruiting Trail you might not get that time I mean hopefully like in the interview process when you lay out your blueprint for the program and how it’s going to be hopefully you have that conversation with the ad and say like look my plan is to build this from the ground up we don’t want I think they have a new ad though I think they have a new ad that makes I mean that’s always tough when when the ad changes and that that ad didn’t hire you um so that would make some more sense but still man just two years well and then they they named the interim uh the former Switzer the former white out for UNCC right um they they had a perfect opportunity name Scott sper head coach and they they didn’t they really let us down son of Steve sper um but uh so that I mean it’s like Biff POI in a way where I’m just like what are we doing here you know this dfur might be on the next one to go but uh he’s only in year or two he’s he’s okay right now um even though there were six fans at the game um I think there’s more fans at the usfl games in Birmingham yeah 100% uh also a great scene in college football obviously there was tons of field storms uh storming I guess um but uh a Lehi Lafayette which is like one of the more legendary college football games uh the most historic rivalry in college football a championship was on the line in that conference a birth to the FCS playoffs Lehigh wins was their first winning season in like seven or eight years they walk four miles with the goalpost and throw it into the uh whatever R rivers in bethleem Pennsylvania this is what I’m talking about this is why college football is the greatest stories like that and NC Nick before we get into uh the the 20 game slate that we have the FCS playoffs were announced today and uh and we have our bracket right here youtube.com theol experience the overall one seed is The Undefeated Montana State Bobcats who just won the brawl of the wild uh the two seed is is they did Cover North Dakota State uh is the two seed the three seed is South Dakota State the four seed is the South Dakota Coyotes who just knocked off North Dakota state by one in a hell of a game this past Saturday so your first round matchups um that you’ll get this Saturday is New Hampshire and UT Martin uh Richmond and Lehi Illinois State and and Southeast Missouri Simo uh Charlton State and Drake Northern Arizona and abalene Christian great year for The Lumberjacks and year one in Flagstaff uh Central Connecticut state the real Blue Devils knockoff duaine a big upset there in the NEC to get to the championship game though that was a huge uh conference game where the winner Advanced to taking on Rhode Island little regional classic nor easterner NC Nick with the Central Connecticut state Rhode Island Eastern Kentucky taking on Villanova Eddie George doing one of the best coaching jobs of the entire D1 college football slate with Tennessee State getting them to the FCS playoffs they haven’t had a winning season forever taking on unfortunately he’s got to go to Missoula to take on Montana but uh and then some other by- weeks by the way going on is uh so after the four seed was the five seed UC Davis six seed uh Incarnate Word seven seed Mercer and eight the eight seed is the Idaho vandals NC Nick this Saturday you’re gonna be tuning into I know we got a loaded slate on the FBS front but uh you excited about that Lehi Richmond matchup I wish it’s gonna be tough to to crack into FCS I wish they were like during the week or something I’m kind of bummed also that there’s nothing close that we could go to um not nothing in the Carolinas I was West Carolina just missed it just miss it again two straight years of just um bumer but I usually start tuning in like next week yeah and and for the most part chalk kind of prevails not like maybe not these this these first round of games but once you get to the North the dtas and The Montanas usually like you’re gonna see a championship game that’s probably between two of these one through four seeds I wanted to just say that the ab and Christian hosting Northern Arizona game is going to be awesome okay that’ll be a very good football game I think UT Martin who remember beat kennell state in the FBS is heading to New Hampshire that could be interesting I mean Richmond Lehigh Richmond’s been on fire lately so I’m kind of terrified for Lehi in that regard that that G’s at Lehigh right no it’s at Richmond the seating it’s you see the number nine by by Richmond I mean it would be fun to go to but like really are you going to miss out on all the other FBS games games that’s true that’s true uh it’s going to be fascinating I highly recommend if you have not checked out the FCS and look this past Saturday I was I was also watching D2 D3 Nia playoff games the sport runs deep folks so I encourage you to check it out especially if you’re local if you’re living in you know wherever if you’re outside of Richmond Virginia if you’re outside of New Hampshire Durham New Hampshire go catch a game um fa fabulous to South Dakota last week okay their only other losses to the Colorado Buffalo so in a close game so I think the bison are gonna get revenge on uh the success from the jack rabbits I don’t think the I uh let’s jump to Tuesday maxtion is this Wednesday or Tuesday Tuesday there’s no games on Wednesday they really F what the hell is that on um nobody works on Thursday why not have games Wednesday night I so many games they could have gave us um anyway Toledo how do I fix this let’s Toledo is heading to akan lay in8 the series goes back to 1923 some action for your ass uh the Zips are the best three and8 team in the country NC Nick I’ve been saying this for a while the line last year year was 49 to 14 or I’m sorry the last time they played two I think it was two years ago 49 to 14 Toledo got it done uh akan is just uh one and six uh I’m sorry no they’re two and they’re two and five in conference they are um any chance you’re taking the points you know I think I have an idea what route you’re going to go but statistically speaking these teams are a little bit closer to each other than their their records might indicate uh both teams pass the wall pass the ball pretty well and they can’t run the one difference the big difference is that akan is awful defending the run but toita is not a strong rushing team um I I am very interested in taking the points here with the home dog uh I think akan can do enough to stay in this game I’ll take the plus eight I’m taking the plus eight too I think it’s going to be a like a 3127 type of game uh excited to watch it Joe Morehead hasn’t been fired they better give him another year because I do think they’ve been chipp this year Kent State is heading into Lambo field Pete Lambo you want to talk about you know this is why I wish the national media covered all of division one better um Pete LMBO should be in the mix for Coach of the Year unbelievable what a turnaround man he has a chance to go eight and four regular season and maybe get a ninth win with a bll win what was Buffalo last year they’re terrible like four wins I think right maybe five yeah yeah I doubt it one of those years they made like a bowl with three wins last year and one of them was in overtime against akaran and one was against Kent State Buffalo was awful last year and he walks right in and he was a late hiring because linquist remember that was a late hiring they go get Pete lumbo yeah now and now I don’t and now they’re 21o favorites in a m game that is a testament to Pete Lambo yep it is now having said all that give me the points in Kent State I think I agree again if you look at Kent State when they’ve played the bottom of the Mac or the mid- tier Mac teams they’ve at least been able to put up some points Kent State scored 33 on Eastern Michigan 35 on uh Ball State 21 on Western Michigan even 17 on akan if Ken State can put up you know 20 points or so I think they’re going to cover uh the weather looks very dicey for this game you’re talking 30s 20 plus mile per hour win uh some rain or some some some wet snow maybe I think that all favors you know a dog and and lower scoring by Buffalo I think Kent State can cover this I mean come on it’s maxtion you going to lay 21 in maxtion on a team that won that won three games last year it was 24 to6 a year ago uh this series goes back to 1937 and by the way that slide is Amherst it’s supposed to read Amherst New York which the stadium is just right outside of Buffalo uh not Amherst Massachusetts where UMass is located we’re both on the Tuesday dogs which one do you feel better about I feel better about Kent State bed or not which is a crazy statement cuz they’re 0 and 11 I think I feel a little bit better about akan [Laughter] actually uh all right let’s jump over Thursday Andy Nick we got a we got a fire matchup early in the morning no line but it goes back 123 years Tuskegee shout out to obviously the legendary Tuskegee Airmen um heading to mon monery Alabama to take on Alabama State this is a huge rivalry between the two schools like I said they’ve been playing every year it’s it’s normally every Thanksgiving there’s no line on it but this is this is this is Thursday morning and let me tell you I believe this game to be better than whatever the NFL offers so uh especially because it won’t be in a dome where football should never take place uh now I will say this last year was an ass whooping because Alabama state has been getting getting their stuff together Alabama State not that long ago was D2 um but Alabama state’s been investing they got a you know a nice new football stadium they stuck it to to Tuskegee a year ago 41 to3 so maybe it won’t be better than the NFL game but I don’t know I I I just love a historic rivalry game on Thanksgiving we’re gonna have to throw it on we’re gonna have to throw it on man um sh see r right’s with me all right let’s watch this this Tuskegee Alabama State game um and you know I’m on Alabama State because they are the Hornets and I root for any Hornet there you go see that you you’re just saying [ __ ] you to the Tuskegee Airman just like that first I pick against Army now I pick against the tusky air man air man yeah give me get on over the cut I’ll I’ll I’ll battle you there give me give me the 38 from last year that this game was decided by and I’ll take the uh the Airmen um Thursday night no egg bll it’s absolutely criminal in my opinion that there’s no egg bow that had been played every year on Thanksgiving in our lifetime and I me a lot of years we would get Texas Texas A&M on Thanksgiving too and I never really heard an explanation as to why I think it’s just they want to give their chance the best uh their teams the best chance to make the playoffs and it’s a short week I think they were thinking what if Old Miss was in a spot I don’t know that’s just my uh my t foil head conspiracy there but we do have a fire game with playoff implications um Memphis Ryan silver fish it’s been a disappointing season even though they have a win over Florida State disappointing in they’re n-2 they could go 10-2 here and take down tan tan did beat them a year ago 31-21 and this one is this one that last year was in the Liberty Bowl this one is in yolman stadium there in New Orleans actually the last two years Tain has won by exactly 10 points each game or each this game is fantastic I I’ll tell you this I want the egg B on Thanksgiving but I think they should give us this one on Thanksgiving every year too this one’s fun I mean as long as the a can stay intact which it sounds like they are now for at least the time being uh and this these two teams should be every year towards the top of the conference yeah this the series goes back to 1954 to Lane’s laying I’m seeing 14 now I made this di 30 minutes ago was 13 so it’s now at 14 over under set of 56 A2 I’m taking the points man give me the points with Memphis I think Memphis can give him a game I disagree I think Memphis is very overrated and that record is because they’ve beaten a bunch of nobody’s look at who they’ve beaten they’ve W they beat a two- win Florida State team they’ve beaten five three- win teams North Alabama Troy MTSU UAB rice a four- win team in Charlotte a five win team in north Texas their best win is against USF who’s won six games meanwhile T Lane I mean they’re nine and2 ATS this year uh Eight in One ATS as a favorite 4-1 ATS at home they’re no matter what they’re laying they’re covering for the most part to Lane I mean this may not have anything any um it may be meaningless in the conference standings but two lane still has a shot at making the cot ball playoff they just need a couple things to happen like Boise lose and they probably get and then beat Army in in the championship game but I think just tane is the best team in this conference hands down I think Memphis is phony now if this gets over two touchdowns then maybe I’ll stay away but uh already clinch thought I read that they clinched well I know they’re tied right now um and they they beat buffalo head to-head so right now there’s three teams Miami but but Miami and Bowling Green play each other yeah I guess they have oh that might affect my handicap yes so give me Ball State plus the points there in Athens I didn’t realize that they they already had it clinched up uh I saw the Tweet when they won saying MAC Championship Tim Albin great what a great coaching job this should be mentioned for Coach of the Year too him and LMBO who’s going to win coach of the year that’s tough man they should be involved with national but they would just never honor a m coach like if you knew what Ohio had had lost you know like they their win total was nothing um unbelievable but if you’re worried about Ohio’s motivation I’m more worried about ball State’s motivation because they did not get the one game coaching bump and Ohio’s been a machine lately I mean they they’re they are mowing down opponents four straight wins of 17 points or more and there are especially good at home in Athens I’ll still lay the number with Ohio but that is interesting that they really don’t have much to play for now let me ask you this now now they don’t host the isn’t the the game at like Ford Field or something yeah filthy Ford Field terrible terrible location for a MAC Championship all right Ohio but no luck uh I’ll take Ball State moving forward oh coaching one game coaching bump doesn’t exist at East Carolina Nick hold on R right says Ohio has to win to make the title game I don’t think that’s the case I don’t think that’s accurate yeah because I saw them tweet out something that they’re playing for the MAC Championship unless could toled catch what about the loser of Miami Colorado you know suffered out the hands of Kansas I think that’s a Difference Maker I think they come out they take it that that defense takes it personal that Devon Neil just ran for over 200 on them they take it personal that Kansas has a team ran for over 330 on them and I think they play much better against the Run they bottle up the Olive Garden and I think they uh CA those Oklahoma State quarterbacks into a few turnovers and that leads to a blowout so um I don’t expect Oklahoma State to finally wake up and play good football give me Colorado Robert Martin says Deion to make the big 12 I have no idea like I do think they’ll win this and put but it it there’s so many intangibles here so I saw the breakdown of like each team’s like what needs to happen it gave me it gave me a headache I was like D like there there’s way too much there’s way too many options well I know this I think if Houston beats BYU and Colorado wins I think they’re automatically in but okay but but there’s another scenario where I think there’s a bunch of different scenarios there’s another one where if Arizona State loses to Arizona and Iowa State loses to Kansas State I believe Colorado would then be
