overcome two goals this allo and very very close so it was not easy to overcome this moment with it they draw in the only action that they have in the second half I think that we have know 14 Corners fortunately we we take advant for one and after we have very clear chances I in the first half three very clear chances okay in the end we we won was the the more important thing and okay and decided allow me to decide the best to W you to because it’s one thing that I I I have i k care I care I care for them so I wish all the best and today above all is for for our fans that they they have a threat 14 Corners if you have 40 corners for you there reasonable chance that you’re going to score a goal he’s going to do something s there this is I was blaming wol players but to be fair West Ham that a good trick here the most of wol players they thought that such is going to run across to the near post but he stay there couple of players made the block and uh still a lot to do for so from there to score from there it’s it’s very difficult is it yeah I mean the he’s the best header of the ball in the West Ham team so you’d have thought the Wolves would would absolutely pinpoint him um I think lamina probably got blocked off it was his man and also I think that if somebody says oh you’re going to have a you’re going to be winning a header and you’re virtually outside the six-yard box on the back post you think well it’s not so dangerous out there you see L lamina is trying to get to his man but he’s way outside the six-yard box here it’s it’s virtually impossible to score I mean it’s a fantastic header really good but you know it’s a long loopy slow ball it’s a long loopy slow header it’s a very disappointing goal to concede from wolves exactly especially as set place you know it’s not we spoke about that during the game it’s not that West Ham played against some exotic team in uh conference league and uh you don’t know about the the players who are good in the air everybody knows that so that soek is one of the for years for years we are talking now about five years that he’s one of the best players and set place in the league you got to try you got to you have to mark so you have to mark him no matter where he’s going to be and there was um a little bit of nerves again um when wolves Got The Equalizer through do rare attack for them in all honesty wasn’t it it was yeah I I mean this was a lovely finish lovely finish um we pick him up sort of there he is number two and he really wants this I mean slavin mentioned a couple of players in the wolf team that really wanted it tonight and there was a few that didn’t but he showed he really wanted this and this is what you’ve got to do you know goals don’t just come you’ve got to make things happen and this is a you know a real strong positive run and then I mentioned in the first half about sometimes it’s not all about hitting it as hard as you can sometimes you’ve just got to keep it down and smother the ball and that was a beautiful finish on his left foot keeping it down just bouncing in front of him not an easy not an easy goal that not an easy finish and he uh for a fullback he uh he did pretty well but wolves’s problem as you alluded to r at the top of the show they just they they can’t keep it tight at the back can they they can’t keep it I mean you are one goal down then you equalize it’s nice goal to be fair great finish I agree and then and then and then and then you are back in a game away from home you happy with that point and all you have to do and and it’s not down to the manager I’m talking about uh how the players should manage the game they should go to each other like listen guys it’s 20 minutes to go all we not all we have to do but next five minutes are major important after if we if we stay in for 5 minutes after that West will open they have to open they got to win orever and then we’re going to catch them on a break you know you you can’t it’s it’s you know you’re back in a game and then two minutes after you consider another one it would be better if it had stayed One n for West Ham you know yeah and it’s easier said than done I mean you know again Jared Bowen he actually knocks the ball in but then I mean his skill and his precision and his finish and I was lucky enough last season to do a bit of a a master class of finishing with him he is unbelievable at finishing both feet in the air he’s exceptional you know the way he manipulates the ball his balance how he can wriggle into a free area then to get the shot off and then curl it into the bottom corner not many players can do that it’s it’s special it was a special goal to win again and a special celebration as well yeah special moment for Mel Antonio and he’s a special player for this team slav because he Contin continually steps up for moments like that he is incredible that’s that’s why we were talking about I mean he was by far although Sumer will also started the game really bright and brave I mean the quality that West Ham’s got up front with those three goal bound Wingers H not Strikers okay go bound Wingers uh it’s it’s it’s really that’s the to go your way um and you hope that they do but today they didn’t um yeah and the lads gave everything gave everything we just we we came up a little bit short again which is um been the story of the last last few uh few weeks for us really so proud of the players because they’re obviously in a tough moment um and they give absolutely everything um as you saw again today ready to fight ready to scrap um ready to come away to West Ham and and give them a real good game but we we we needed to find a way to turn it our way today and we we we didn’t quite do that forgive me if I’ve missed anything but was it the two penalty shouts that you’re referring to in terms of the decisions that you didn’t get yeah I don’t think what is I think there’s four so I don’t think there’s I don’t think it’s a corner um the corner they score from I think it comes back off oneaka um there’s a blatant foul in build up to West Ham’s second goal on Santi Buena in the middle of the box like I mean unbelievably blatant San’s going to head the ball and I think it’s MAV Panos just climbs all over the back of him and um really surprised that that wasn’t given firstly and then checked um and then the penalty on geds is is a blatant penalty blatant uh Emerson on a yellow card um tracking back into the box and has a big shove into get Ed’s back which causes him to stand on the ball um so I think that was a penalty and then there was a little one on JJ as well which was small contact but enough to enough to make JJ fall over so um yeah disappointed they didn’t go away but we have our own we have our own battles to fight so I don’t want to dwell on those but if you had any explanation or conversation with the officials I haven’t had time I’ll try and go in I will try and go in and have a chat with them um just to get their thoughts on on how it ended up where it was but um yeah I mean it’s not going to help us is it we need to find a way to to turn the game in our favor and um a combination of of us not quite doing enough and and the decisions G with with West Ham today um have meant that we we leave with nothing well you didn’t get the rubber the green with those what about the nature of the first goal West Ham scored that must have been really disappointing from that set piece yeah yeah really disappointed W lads who had big issues with set plays and um the markers managed to lose lose such again so um yeah that obviously there was nothing in it West Ham was really struggling at that point I didn’t create anything at all um and then to give them a lift is gives ourselves a mountain into time again um so yeah we need they The Lads have to do better from those situations no suggestion that the players have lost faith in you given the way that they were running tonight though no they definitely haven’t we’re together we are together um and I give them big credit for that because they they know the situation they know where we’re at they they know the situation at the football club they know some of the difficulties that we face um and me and the players are 100% connected in in trying to do as well well as we can um at this moment it isn’t quite good enough but there is a long way to go certainly is um we’ve just got enough time to look at that big instant in the lead up to the second uh goal for West Ham the challenge he’s talking a blatant foul on Bueno what do we think yeah I I I get that one he can feel hard d by he was definitely not a corner for the first goal uh I agree with that that definitely could have been uh could have been a foul definitely he jumps and doesn’t get the ball so yeah I I would probably say that was a foul as well so basically leading up to both the West Ham’s goal he could goals he could feel uh hard done by there um it’s no consolation is it I when you’re down there it happens for me for from all these four situations I mean the first one nobody could notice that uh it wasn’t a corner that’s the first one no way that V AR will interrupt then it’s that job uh two penalties second one no chance the guy tripped couple of seconds after uh first penalty I see them given but then it it was a slight push okay this is for me the biggest one this this is this is a foul let’s be honest this is a foul they didn’t go woles way and they continue to stay in the bottom three thank you very much indeed for
