[Applause] incomplete and the game is over completely botched at the End by the Bears I can’t believe they didn’t take a timeout you just assumed they would have taken they’re looking around like what just happened they had a timeout left the clock has struck zero and it is over they took way too long to get in position to run this play this had no intention of being their final play oh my goodness they would have had an attempt of a field goal to send it to overtime from about 59 [Applause] yds Caleb like it’s got to go up and Spike it right away to save the time out or you got to take the timeout I mean well you run the third down play quickly try to get closer for your kicker and then you take the timeout and you’re trying to get a quick play up that’s what they were trying to do Jim so you’re saving you do want to save the timeout you just got to get the experience of that Caleb hasn’t just been in that situation a lot but you get up call a quick play throw it for five six yards down down timeout tie the game I mean they took a long time look at this this the end of the previous play was right at 32 seconds now at that point do you believe you’re not going to get another but one play off after this the coaches are like listen everyone get back you had downfield Caleb trying to get them to come back just run this play Run on this play hurry up but Caleb you got to hurry up be screaming at him hurry up hurry up he doesn’t know there’s 15 snap the ball just snap the ball you got to run it now he’s looking around taking his time getting everyone set SN where they lose it right here yep you cannot get it down below 10 seconds there it’s okay to snap it at 12 13 but he just lost track of time another Bears defeat that at the end of the game they find another improbable way to lose it back here in studio 43 bill you practice Game ending situations like this what happened I think it’s just two two times mat uus I think has froze at the end of a game because with this game this play right here 33 seconds you call timeout you have a third down and 26 all you can do is run another play short of it and get in field goal range and you have plenty of time to run your field goal team on to kick a a field goal to go in overtime there’s no question that that timeout is going to happen at 32 seconds yeah the next play is going to take somewhere between 5 and 7 Seconds you’re going to have 25 seconds to run your field goal unit out onto the field plenty of time plenty of time this is unacceptable from the head coach position your responsibility is to not panic in critical situations to put your team in the best opportunity to win games that’s a massive massive fail by Matty eus and and the players are aren’t aren’t without fault they also made mistakes um pull pulling themselves back with those penalties um but yeah on the coach’s side this was a time management collapse I don’t call for anybody’s job but these are the typee of late game decisions or lack thereof that gets people fired but let me just say congratulations to the line yeah congrats the other thing that’s crazy is even with them not burning that timeout they’ve got to communicate it into and the ball’s got to come out so the next plays a timeout crazy divisional game anything can happen as we saw today we got a bunch this weekend Detroit 11 to1 first time in team history we’ll see you back here on Sunday Happy Thanksgiving
