right as we approach over the course of the next couple of days uh the halfway point of the Premier League season what we thought we’d do is ask our pundits to put together their team of the season so their team of the season so far however couldn’t pick more than one player from the same team I’ve seen none of these teams so far and as he’s with us today not always with us Darren B we’re going to start with you Darren so your team of the season so far here it is talk us through it yeah so goalkeeper pford Everton um he’s been magnificent hasn’t he he he’s been fantastic um and I just feel like forever having a goalkeeper I didn’t want to take away from some of the big boys so I Pickford who has been fantastic um also be happy as a forest player in there there has to be doesn’t there wak I think he’s done really well for West Ham since he’s got there so the right back was a situation I did toy with others but I went with him Mel and Gabrielle I think have been outstanding both of them Gabrielle with the goals Mel for not and Forest been brilliant Robinson fham going really well in the the season as well so I thought he deserved to be in there in that position and then it was a three in the middle of the park that kind of gave me a little bit of a problems hard the hardest area for you a little bit Yeah cuz I wanted I needed a holder in there because obviously tactically I know dors when be come this his is awful but tactically I wanted a holder in there so bber I think Palmer and Rogers Rogers has been outstanding Palmer speak for himself and in the three up top isaach I think’s been incredible k has been brilliant for wolves and and Mohammad Salah I mean he has been probably the best player this season in the Premier League so Happ to be in there is Rogers the one for you that when when he takes vtic yeah he is I think he’s outstanding uh that connection he’s had with Duran certainly uh of recent times as well the the performance against Manchester City taking the ball his goal when he picked up from deep and he drove with it I think he’s one who hasn’t let his standards drop so yeah he had to be in there as well dors is kind of looking down at his screen concentrating really hard is that because he’s trying to remember the team he went with uh well dors you’ve already you already had a already had a bit of ban from benty on your team here here it is no defend and well there it is look at that Midfield that that Midfield you explain I will I will explain Simon no problem yeah I mean I think pford will be will be a choice for for the majority probably looked at Millo but I think milenovic well benty had Millo in you’ve got minkovich I have and the reason is big fan of Murillo but I think minkovich from from set pieces are conceded way too many last year they only got four clean sheets through the whole season they’ve got seven already and I think that’s down to to minkovich as as well as Millo but I went minkovich Munos for Crystal Palace I like the way he plays as a right wing back Gabrielle speaks for itself you could have put um maybe celba in there but I went for Gabrielle and I think Robinson the way they play with with Silva him and AI uh combin really really well down that left hand side uh six assists this season for for him so that was why and then this is what was a question marks me and Clinton and benty had a big debate uh over breakfast this morning um because I went with three very very attacking midfielders because Samar producers message saying it had to be a bat four I probably would have gone a bat three with a holding Midfield oh it had to be certain yeah it was a 4-33 was was where we had to make our team so Robinson and munes can can come into Midfield they can quite strict isn’t he well no only only on only on Clinton and and bent’s eyes we’ll see see their’s when it comes in but I was I went very very attacking with that and let’s pass on to them because my team’s gone so well so far I mean particularly the back to S the producer at the back so far there there’s a love him for pford there’s a love him for Gabrielle as well let’s see if you follow but I’m yeah yeah I made a mistake cuz I should have put Rogers in I forgot about Rogers who did you go for I put tans in instead because not been bad he’s been good but I put BR Bruno garash listen the back Ola has probably been the best fullback Robinson’s been good I’ll go quickly Gabrielle pick for speaks for itself sabani Bournemouth you have to have a Bournemouth player he’s been outstanding Palmer Bruno tians Salah har even read in the last couple of days I think it’d be a real Madrid I think if it wasn’t for Real Madrid coming in I think he’ still be a Liverpool player linkovich outstanding guy you I’ve just Sho haed in there you got Jared Bowen in no no one else going for Bowen we we spoke about him Boxing Day terrific I think he’s incredible I think he could play for a top three side I really do or you felt
