corner any any case whatsoever here for the United goalkeeper well we’ve looked at it carefully and closely uh I actually think I mean he’s sandwiched basically isn’t he he’s sandwiched but there’s nobody fouling him he’s he’s he’s just getting his path blocked and it’s actually ugar who pushes his man pushes his marker into the path buo actually gets pushed into the path of Anana so it’s actually Manchester look at agarte pushing him pushing him into that area and then once it goes over his head and he’s trying to back paddle then it’s uh his path is blocked so no I I think um I think it’s correct to to to give it it is an area that’s creating a little bit of noise at the moment there you go there they are the second most in the division and people will say well not all of those are Ruben amarim well let me tell you six of them are in the last five games alone under the new Manchester United manager who does have a setpiece coach so is that an area of concern that they need to fix quickly among the other ones that’s the problem how long’s this list well I don’t know how long have you got that I don’t that’s the problem you got too many issues that you got to fix you know City you watch United now you don’t know who’s going to play so I think in terms of having a bit of consistency goone was a thing now it’s they coning gos from set pieces like there there’s a lot of issues the star players are two stars in a way Marcus not even barely even in the team anymore so there’s a lot of issues I know it’s going to be some short-term pain like Ruben said before to get to where they want to get but they still right now there’s a long season and they got to find a way to to get more than they’re getting out of what they got right now in my opinion um and of course they were pressing the 10 men to try and find an equalizer and then got caught yeah I mean this is understandable last sort of five 10 minutes you you are pressing and uh don Nao loses the ball there and it’s it’s what I mean Martinez is is stuck up the pitch I mean he shouldn’t necessarily be so easy for them but it but it is but as you said that’s literally the last kick of the game Martinez as you see here he’s um you know probably five yards out of position it’s just one long pass and and all of a sudden they’re in but I don’t necessarily blame you know Manchester unit for conceding that goal I mean it’s the it’s the previous 98 minutes that that that was the problem um you know when you’re chasing the game that that can happen so it was uh but as Owen says there’s so many disappointments such a big list of things that are going wrong at the moment and um you know defensively they look okay but they don’t look dangerous at all going forward one of The Unwanted statistics is that is now five defeats in 22 days in all competitions for United and their manager here he is Reuben am Reuben was that a step backwards for your team today of course when we lose um when we don’t win is a step Tottenham yes the same they the on cannot go to the ball I think uh you think it’s a foul I think I think he he cannot go to the to to the ball so he’s trying to to reach the ball and some guys are not even looking to the ball but I I I don’t want to focus on that um I think um we were the good thing is we were near the the goal even with 10 men that is a good thing but we lost and we continued our job what did you think of the red card for Bruno Fernandez did he need to be more careful with his challenge considering he was on the booking already yeah of course we have to we have to it’s it’s so tough to win games in this league with 10 men with 11 men with 10 men it’s more difficult so we have to focus on that yeah Bruno Fernandez suspended now for the game at home to Newcastle on the 30th do you think looking from the outside at Sporting Lisbon he saw a challenge and now from the inside he thinks that challenge is a lot bigger than perhaps he deceived from the outside yeah definitely I think the only saving grace is they’ve got a really good manager though and he’s a brilliant communicator but it’s going to be a lot harder than I think he thought I think he would have gone home and he wouldn’t have said said this probably to us but I think he would have said to his Portuguese staff on when they were having a glass of irine back after the I game this is going to be a lot harder you know cuz everybody give you a game look ipt they give you a game like that wolves give you a game like that and all of a sudden the top team so it’s they’re going to have to give him time as Mo said he’s he’s he’s a great manager but I think Personnel wise they don’t have what what he needs at the moment and do you think there’s going to be a lot of painful days like today given the fact that that essentially is going to be the group of players we think until May yeah I mean 3 n at home to Bournemouth 2 N away to you know being beat 5 n on Aggregate and two you know against Bou I mean it can’t get much more painful for Manchester United fans can it so yeah that there could be more painful days ahead and what Manchester United fans need to see is progress you know getting beat is one thing but getting beat like that is is you know that’s not progress every you can’t have a wasted game even if you get beat you got to learn something you got to learn something there can never be a a wasted game and Bournemouth and and wolves the last two games I don’t think he will have learned anything apart from yeah I’ve got a moderate bunch of players at the moment that’s it okay this I can’t believe I’m saying about Manchester United they are the fifth lowest goal scorers in the Premier League I mean how on Earth in the short term do you fix something like that with this group of players and I say they’re not so bad at the back but I mean they play to defend you know it’s not like they commit five goal in two League games but they don’t commit everybody forward I’m looking at the Manchester United Team half the time there they’ve got three players marking one at the at the back you never see a Liverpool team let’s say doing that they all man for man if we’ got spare men let’s push them into attacking areas and let’s let’s go is that because the manager trusts the players in those position absolutely yeah and and that’s probably what he’s working towards but at the moment now even if they weren’t conceding many goals I wouldn’t be getting carried away because the team isn’t functioning they’re absolutely awful going forward I mean I can’t think of a chance that they had there today uh holand I mean I feel so sorry for the lad in that first half as I mentioned at halftime six passes he received four of them from Defenders so in another words four of them probably hopeful longish passes and two two passes in the first half from a player that you would want to receive a pass off I mean and he’s supposed to do something with that and I can’t judge him as a player I don’t know whether he’s good or bad and and that’s the that’s the most damning thing you can say because after watching him for a year I I I I just feel as if he’s playing in possibly the hardest position in the Premier League to play at the moment Center forward for Manchester United I never thought I’d be saying that Center forward for Manchester United used to be the dream for every Center forward in the world scoring dozens and dozens of goals and now it’s it’s a poison chalice and I never thought I’d be saying that no he didn’t have a touch in the Wolves box today in the short ter Newcastle Liverpool and then Arsenal in the cup yikes I mean every game’s hard at the moment they get even harder there I mean Newcastle lipo yeah I they they just got to find they got to come together find something there’s not there’s not anything kind of together really they they need something I know it’s it’s tough right now they got to hang in there and try and find some form of unit that can go out and win games forget the shape and formation all this find a way to get a result and build some confidence and go from there but fixtures are are tough that’s for
