like scoring losing him just you know that that was that was the game for them Andre and n a little upset with the way he conceeded and he felt was fouled from the corner any any case whatsoever here for the United goalkeeper well we’ve looked at it carefully and closely uh I actually think I mean he’s sandwiched basically isn’t he he’s sandwiched but there’s nobody fouling he’s he’s he’s just getting his path blocked and it’s actually ugat who pushes his man pushes his marker into the path buo actually gets pushed into the path of Anana so it’s actually Manchester look at agar pushing him pushing him into that area and then once it goes over his head and he’s trying to back pedal then it’s uh his path is blocked so no I I think um I think it’s correct to to to give it it is an area 98 minutes that that there was the problem um you know when you’re chasing the game that that can happen so it was uh but as Owen says there’s so many disappointments such a big list of things that are going wrong at the moment and um you know defensively they look okay but they don’t look dangerous at all going forward one of the uh unwanted statistics is that is now five defeats in 22 days in all competitions for United and their manager here he is Ruben Amry Reuben was that a step backwards for your team today of course when we lose um when we don’t win is a step back uh but it was really hard with the sent off uh the goal was similar uh against Tottenham um and then we tried we tried it even with the last one guy we tried it to I think we were near um of something more than than than wolves uh of scoring the second one and then in the in the end we tried everything and then a transition was two n um but for for us let’s continue yeah the first goal obviously it’s another set piece it’s another goal direct from a corner is it particularly disappointing to concede this goal when you’ve only conceded the same goal a week ago yeah against Tottenham yes the same they the on cannot go to the ball I think uh you think it’s a foul I think I think he he cannot go to the to to the ball so he’s trying to to reach the ball and some guys are not even looking to the ball but I I I don’t want to focus on that um I think um we were the good thing is we were near the the goal even with 10 men that is a good thing but we lost and we continued our job what did you think of the red card for Bruno Fernandez did he need to be more careful with his challenge considering he was on the booking already yeah of course we have to we have to it’s it’s so tough to win games in this league with 10 men with 11 men with 10 men it’s more difficult so we have to focus on that yeah Bruno Fernandez suspended now for the game at home to Newcastle on the 30th do you think looking from the outside at Sporting Lisbon he saw a challenge and now from the inside he thinks that challenge is a lot bigger than perhaps he perceived from the outside yeah definitely I think the only saving grace is they’ve got a really good manager there and he’s a brilliant communicator but it’s going to be a lot harder than I think he thought I think he would have gone home and he wouldn’t have said this probably to us but I think he would have said to his Portuguese staff on when they were having a glass of irine back after the iwit game this is going to be a lot harder you know cuz everybody give you a game look ipswitch they give you a game like that wolves give you a game like that and all sudden in the top team so it’s they’re going to have to give him time as Mo said he’s he’s he’s a great manager but I think person now wise they don’t have what what he needs at the moment and do you think there’s going to be a lot of painful days like today given the fact that that essentially is going to be the group of players we think until May yeah I mean 3-0 at home to Bournemouth two n away to you know being beat 5 n on Aggregate and two you know against defeat in 22 Bou I mean it can’t get much more painful for Manchester United fans can it so yeah that there could be more painful days ahead and what Manchester United fans need to see is progress you know getting beat is one thing but getting beat like that is is you know that’s not progress every get you can’t have a wasted game even if you get big you got to learn something You’ got to learn something there can never be a a wasted game and Bournemouth and wolves the last two games I don’t think he will have learned anything apart from yeah I’ve got a moderate bunch of players at the moment that’s it congratulations you Stadium you can you can see like how happy they are yeah in terms of the new manager VTO Pereira he’s made a fantastic impact with two wins in his first two games what’s he done differently what’s he changed you know like it’s like I say he coming with a lot of energy everyone then coming and then you know come he said to us he’s 18 years and dream to come here and then manage one team in the Premier League and then you can saw this we can saw the impact you can saw the energy we can so how teach us and yeah I think we can come in with these kind of things in the pitch and show everyone uh performer this season without a doubt 10 goals in all competitions and a goal and assist to his name today against Manchester United and what could be a huge win when you look back at their campaign come May because it moves them out of the bottom three he receives the agulation of the home support and why not an evening as far as Matos C is concerned you pointed him out as the main Danger Man which to be honest wasn’t that difficult but he came up with the goods he was outstanding I thought when it’s you know it’s a nerve-racking game you know for everybody but he right from the start show it unselfish at the end but I just thought if anyone was going to win it for wolves he was the one and I just yeah from start to finish outstanding where you know when some play say they mean it you raise a few eyebrows you’re a bit skeptical but when it comes to Kya you know genuinely he’s going for goal yeah I I think they’ve worked on that like he said and I think the manager said listen I want you to to try and score you know will’ll sort out the rest and that’s exactly what happened I mean he was brilliant the whole game um you know he’s he’s one of them players that you can take responsibility you know he’s the guy that will step up and and today he surely did that and with a goal and assist he he was he was brilliant and United couldn’t handle him today so come on Matt what did you make of the Wolves performance over the 90 minutes I thought from start to finish they were really good I thought little few C moments but I think they showed a bit of everything they show showed some good quality some flare not taking risks at certain times I think from Back to Front every player was minimum seven out of 10 thought totty Gomez was outstanding and at the end when even though against 10 men this is Manchester United they’re going to have spells they put pressure on they stood strong got the goal to win it so I thought all around veto Pereira will be absolutely delighted but now it’s about recovery cuz they did work hard out there and going into the Tottenham game they’ve left a lot out on molu how much did they impress you where I mean did they look like a group of players who are doing all they can to impress this new manager they they certainly did and they definitely didn’t look like a team that was fighting for relegation at the moment um they L well organized they had the energy but but like theyve said they they they want to work for the manager you know the manager gives them that inspiration and you could see that on the pitch all over running um and they put a lot of pressure on man united who just couldn’t handle it I think the crowd played their part in this game Matt you spoke about this renewed optimism which I know sounds almost premature after just one win but there’s a sense of belief amongst the Wolves fans that with a new voice in the dressing room and with the quality of Players let’s admit that they’ve got Fair few here the only way is up right now well W said that to me he looked at the team Sheet he said this is a good team this is a good squad and they got some really good players so yeah optimism is right again as we walk into place fans are going to me big man we’re going to be all right we’re going to get out of this and I think there’s that real belief so back yes walls could always score goals but that’s back toback clean sheets as well so if you’re going to get have success in the league clean sheets is what gets you up there so back toback clean sheets that work rate that desire and the fans sometimes it’s up to the players to get the fans to lift them and I think that performance I think it’s a bit of both but when molu is rocking it is a really good place to play as a home player but difficult for the away side in hindsight did they face Manchester United at the right time Mo yes they possibly did um you know the I think when the new manager comes in he changes the whole formation um it takes a while for for players to to obviously understand what the manager wants but ultimately we we’ve come into this game today and wolves have totally dominated um first to the ball you could see they wanted it a little bit more um they weren’t sloppy this game you know last game a little bit sloppy so you would have to you know put your hands up and said listen this was a game that only they can lose because in man united are struggling and they certainly put the pressure on talk about a dream start for that man by the way new wolves Boss V Pereira he only had what two or three training sessions before the Leicester game he came away with a 3-0 Victory VTO come across will come is actually come to join us here pitch side many congratulations lovely to see you
