you what was your message him um that I was there for him you know so I’m unfortunate very unfortunate U for for the man first and in the teammate uh second you know uh a guy that has ended himself to this franchise um as always try to uplift those and really just teach the Young guys that are coming in you know you got to think with a guy as deep as he is and his tenure um it’s it’s bigger than the game and why he’s still playing and um his Pursuit has been to be his best self but but really be his best the best teammate he can be um and serve everyone he can and so um I know the man the um conversations that we’ve been um afforded to have and um it’s it’s unfortunate you know but it was just a a moment um knowing that that God has his hands on him and he’s he’s about he’s about to tested you know he’s experienced some of these things once before and um God has saw it through for him you know and I think um it’s just another um another pit stop for him where he I know he’s going to come back stronger from it a better man better player um whatever he chooses to do and be um I know he’ll be be better from it you know and I know his energy and enthusiasm will rain on as we continue to uh play the course of this season Qui speaking team how important is pers for this team it’s very important I think it’s very important um it’s very important in anything that you do especially when you set out to do something as a group you know you you know you’re going to have different things in your way you know you’re going to have different things you have to overcome but a lot of the times it’s about how you come together and I know there’s a point um you know where you you you you have to have those moments where you can reflect uh and really process and um have a pit stop where you can kind of uh tune up everything you need to tune up assess where you need to improve and and get better and I just think that um the more often than not we can have those moments for us and be critical of ourselves um and have some humility about our approach to the game we just we’re going to continue to grow J describe what you saw 26 today and what your old line did to open up holes like the size of I mean clouds were party yeah um he’s a hell of a player he’s a hell of a player and I said that you know I said that um after the Jacksonville game and um how it blessed he is to do some of the things he’s capable of and you accompany that you know when you accompany an issue with other issues you become a problem you know and then I think um we’ve got a lot of Talent on our team but um I think we’re forc when we’re all together and um that’s um I think that’s evident out there when we can find our Rhythm and how we play and um feed off one another and he set the tone for us especially at the end I think even these last few uh weeks we’ve we’ve had some of those games where they they’ve kind of played out different as a course of the game but you think about these 4minute situations where um he he he just he he takes it over you know and I think back to I told sequan I think back to moments where we may have lost a game in the past um or maybe mismanaged a four-minute situation where he’s truly making things um easier for us when it comes to how we handle form in the situations because of his capabilities even with a loaded box being able to hit a home run so it’s um Big Time play from him you Sayan tonight he set an NFL record he has the most yards from scrimmage in the first 11 games with a new team 1702 for yourself though having the shoulder so much of the running game of the past years you middle League what does that give you knowing that you got a guy honestly the turnning you can handle that guy 20 times and it doesn’t you know have to wear and tear on you you don’t have to shower the Lo I think it gives me some time on the back end um but but um he he’s a hell of a player you know I think we’re fortunate I know we’re fortunate to have him I’m fortunate to have him um he’s playing his tail off and he’s having fun and I think that’s the um winning is the most important thing it’s probably the second most important thing but um it’s relative but the the the the different um he just added a new dimension for us you know and we just have to continue to build off that you know I think um just just continue to build Thanksgiving coming up this Thursday what are you more most thankful for this year um yeah I’m thankful for just the opportunity uh to to do what I do um and and really just you know my health my family uh being present enjoying these moments um being able to travel to La uh travel out west and play this game and uh to be able to learn and grow throughout every moment you know I think there are a ton of teachable moments in life uh it’s part of the reason why you know I chose this game is because of the things that it can teach you and um it’s a thrill and not being satisfied in all those different experiences and there’s you know there’s this Joy of success in it as well and um being able to learn from all of those moments um become a better man become a better player leader um I’m I’m thankful for that you guys with you guys running more since the buy how important is is it that in the past game you’re still you guys are still getting exposive plays it’s important um obviously being able to play complimentary football that’s important being able to um be efficient is important and obviously we have a multiple ways that we can attack teams and do things and so um I think I think um you know that it it’ll it’ll hit at some point in terms of when we’re asked to do some of these certain things but um you know Duty hasn’t called for some of those moments yet so when it does I’m have confidence that we’ll be ready for it this about this was the point of the season last year with things started to to turn how much better do you feel about the situation you’re place this year right now um we’re still growing you know I say you know in terms of my mentality is is no different than trying to get better um I’m not satisfied you know we’re not satisfied I wasn’t satisfied in the past I I’m not satisfied now and I think we have last year to learn from uh players and coaches and how we approach certain situations but now it’s just a it’s a day byday grind you know um you know I’m not I’m not going to get too high I get too low we’re going to appreciate the moment we’re going to look at what we did and what we’re able to accomplish and then we’re going to look at how we can be better at it and I think if uh you know I’ve said it before you know being able to learn from my mistakes we can’t be foolish and not do that more over 100 yard again what stands out about the the season that he have it’s just showing up you’re showing up and I think I think we’re all playing complimentary ball and all the different things we we’re able to do offensively um you know that was it’s a hell of a game from him being able to show up in some of those moments and um to be able to go out there and do that without you know our guy Devonte Smith and and who we missed um but everybody just showing up and take advantage of their opportunities and AJ made some hell of a plays um made made a great move and open field and um he he’s he’s he’s doing what he does last one z a big message from you last week was finishing in the Red Zone um after there two row8 drives how important was that touchdown before the half it was important I still uh kind of snip at the bid of um the other two opportunities we had um just got to got to take advantage of those you know early in the game you you score twice it changes the dynamic of the game I think earlier um and then just uh finishing in the Red Zone making some plays um in that third third down I think we had a think we had offsetting penalties when we could have avoided that and so just some of those different things where we can be better from we can learn from and as we continue to build I think I ended off with this um you know you you kind of bring things into perspective you know as as the course of a season goes and you know we kind of been kind of been here before um in a sense of um you know just kind of putting oursel in a position and want to continue to build But ultimately it’s about how you how you build um and I don’t I don’t believe in momentum I don’t think it’s real I think it can begin and end at any moment and we have to make sure that we’re not relying on that facade or momentum just just growing and challeng ourselves to grow every day um holding each other accountable in that having those conversations we need to have because we’re we’re not a we’re not a finished product we’re nowhere near a finished product and there’s so much more out there for us to go out there and do and so there’s no sense of satisfaction um it’s great to go out there and play with confidence feed off of one another that’s what team is about team is about the group of of individuals that come together to achieve a common goal and um understanding the sacrifices that come with that but you know we’re um we’re not satisfied thanks thanks
